Description

Gebiet der ErfindungField of invention

The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner or a vacuum cleaner robot with a dust separation unit, which has at least one locking unit for releasably fixing the dust separation unit to the vacuum cleaner, an operating element for operating the locking unit and at least one transmission element for transmitting a movement of the operating element to the locking unit, the operating element as Handle is designed for removing the dust separation unit, and wherein the operating element is pivotably mounted between its blocking position and its removal position. The locking unit forms a gate together with a corresponding counter unit on the vacuum cleaner or on the vacuum cleaner robot, the locking unit positioning the gate in an end position when the handle is pivoted into the locking position, so that a unit acting as a sliding block forms an abutment at the end of the gate , via which the operating element presses the dust separation unit when pivoting into the end position of the blocking position into a locking position.

Hintergrund der ErfindungBackground of the invention

With vacuum cleaners and also with vacuum cleaner robots, the dust holding capacity, suction power and user-friendliness are essential criteria for customer satisfaction and purchase decisions for the user.

For high dust uptake values of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot, the highest possible volume flows of the sucked in medium, usually air, are necessary. That means air throughput losses or, in general, losses in throughput of the medium The cause of leaky systems must be avoided. In vacuum cleaners or in vacuum cleaning robots, the dust separation unit is a component that must be designed so that it can be removed. Likewise, however, the dust separation unit of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot is a subsystem of the flow channel of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot. Thus, the interface between the dust separation unit and the rest of the flow channel of the vacuum cleaner or robot vacuum cleaner must be designed to be as airtight as possible or generally tight for the medium sucked in, in order to achieve a high suction force. Furthermore, it must be taken into account that the removal and reinsertion of the dust separation unit in the vacuum cleaner or in the vacuum cleaner robot is to be made as simple and pleasant as possible for the user.

In the German Offenlegungsschrift DE 10 2009 035 601 A1 a locking unit for the dust separation unit of a vacuum cleaner is disclosed, which is designed as a handle. However, the problem of the air-flow-tight or generally media-flow-tight lock is not solved in this laid-open specification by means of the lock. US 2004 205 928 A1 describes a locking part with a projection which cooperates with a catch in a catch element. Other generic vacuum cleaners are from DE 10 240 618 A1 and DE 10 2013 012 215 A1 known.

A reusable dust collection filter for a vacuum cleaner reduces the cost of repair and maintenance of the vacuum cleaner and reduces waste. The vacuum cleaner has a vacuum cleaner body with a dust collection chamber and a motor chamber, and a cleaning head is connected to the vacuum cleaner body through an extension pipe. The cassette-type dust collection filter is replaceably disposed in the dust collection chamber of the vacuum cleaner body for separating and collecting contaminants in the air stream. The dust collection filter is reusable by removing the collected contaminants and then cleaning it. It contains a locking mechanism for locking in an installed position within the dust collection chamber of the vacuum cleaner body.

Die Bezugszeichen in sämtlichen Ansprüchen haben keine einschränkende Wirkung, sondern sollen lediglich deren Lesbarkeit verbessern. The reference symbols in all claims do not have a restrictive effect, but are only intended to improve their readability.

The object of the invention is achieved in that the backdrop has a curved slot, a web or a curved groove, which corresponds to an oval or circular segment, the center of which coincides with the pivot axis of the handle when the dust separation unit is inserted in the vacuum cleaner or in the vacuum cleaner robot and is not pulled towards the locking position.

As far as "air" is mentioned in connection with the present invention, e.g. B. from a suction air flow, an air line system or an air duct, or an air flow tightness, this should be understood in the context of the present invention as a suction medium in general. Dis can in principle also be a different fluid than air, for example a different gas mixture than air or a liquid, e.g. B. water or an aqueous solution or suspension. Only as a preferred version of the Invention, air in its otherwise customary sense is to be understood as the air of the earth's atmosphere at the location at which the vacuum cleaner according to the invention is intended for operation.

According to one concept of the invention, it is provided that the dust separation unit has a first unit which, together with a unit on the vacuum cleaner or on the vacuum cleaner robot, forms a backdrop. A gate in the sense of the present invention is a cooperating arrangement of a slot, a web or a groove with a positively guided sliding block to which the movement of the gate is transmitted or vice versa. In the opposite case, the movement of the sliding block is transferred to the slot, the web or the groove.

According to a further concept of the invention, the two units should interlock through their positioning when the dust separation unit is inserted into the vacuum cleaner or into the vacuum cleaner robot. When the handle is pivoted into the locking position, the link formed in cooperation of the two units is brought into an end position depending on the positioning of the slot, the web or the groove and the unit acting as a sliding block. The end position of the gate is reached before the handle reaches the locking position. Shortly before reaching the blocking position, the gate is in the end position, so that a unit acting as a sliding block now forms an abutment at the end of the gate. Via this abutment, the operating element presses the dust separation unit into a locking position when it is pivoted into the end position of the blocking position. In the invention, one idea is that the handle is first pivoted without the Dust separation unit performs a movement that should not be neglected. In this case, the dust separation unit can already be in contact with sealing lips on the vacuum cleaner or on the vacuum cleaner robot, which seal the air duct, and can be elastically fixed in its position by these. Only when the end position of the blocking position is reached does the link act in its end position as a bearing of a lever mechanism via which the dust separation unit is pressed against the restoring force of the sealing lips against the latter.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the gate should be constructed by appropriate shaping of the slot, the web or the groove so that the gate acts in its end position as a bearing of a lever mechanism that the dust separation unit in both a horizontal movement and a vertical movement in relation to a flat roof surface of the dust separation unit as a horizon forces. In the end position of the blocking position, the flat roof surface of the dust separation unit ends with a corresponding housing wall of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot. During the horizontal movement, the dust separation unit is pressed against the restoring surface of a sealing lip, which seals an air duct between the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot and the dust separation unit. During the vertical movement, in which the flat roof surface of the dust separation unit approaches the corresponding housing wall of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot, the housing opened for the use of the dust separation unit in the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot is closed and sealed in the opening by a corresponding seal.

A vacuum cleaner within the meaning of the present invention is a device that can generate a suction air flow that acts on an object, usually a surface, for example a floor surface, in order to pick up particles such as dirt or dust particles, but also liquids, from the object by being captured and entrained by the suction air flow (hereinafter also referred to as "suction"). A vacuum cleaner can advantageously achieve a cleaning effect in this way.

The vacuum cleaner is usually equipped with a suction fan for generating a suction air flow, wherein a suction opening of the vacuum cleaner with the Suction side of the suction fan is in flow connection. The suction opening is typically designed so that it passes over the object to be cleaned, e.g. B. a floor surface, can be performed to remove the particles, e.g. B. dust or dirt to suck in. The suction fan is usually in flow connection with at least one dust separation device, for example a usually exchangeable dust filter bag, a filter device or a centrifugal separator. Dirt particles picked up by the suction air flow are usually collected in a dust collection space, the dust filter usually being in the dust collection space in the case of a vacuum cleaner with a dust filter bag.

A robot vacuum cleaner is a robot cleaner equipped with a vacuum cleaner. A cleaning robot is a cleaning device that is able to move automatically relative to a surface to be cleaned or to an object to be cleaned and to clean the surface or the object in whole or in part. For this purpose, the cleaning robot is equipped with one or more cleaning devices. For example, the cleaning robot can be equipped with stationary or powered brushes, rollers, wipers, cloths or other cleaning devices. Alternatively or additionally, the cleaning robot can comprise a vacuum cleaner, for example a wet vacuum cleaner or a dry vacuum cleaner or a combined wet / dry vacuum cleaner.

A cleaning robot is usually equipped with a chassis. The chassis can be controlled, for example, by a controller that can be present in the cleaning robot or outside the cleaning robot. To control the chassis, the controller uses data which are provided by one or more sensors which, at least in part, can be present in the cleaning robot or outside the cleaning robot. Typical sensors include a mechanical collision sensor, a camera, an ultrasonic sensor, an infrared sensor, a distance sensor, an accelerometer, and a compass. A cleaning robot can comprise one or more mapping means or be functionally connected to them. Mapping means include, in particular, devices for recording, storing or evaluating geometric properties of the space in which the cleaning robot works or is intended to work. The mapping means can advantageously be used for a planned navigation of the cleaning robot in the Contribute space. Rooms can be outside or inside, e.g. B. interiors of buildings such as living rooms or household rooms.

A cleaning robot is usually operated by an accumulator. So that the accumulator of such a cleaning robot can be charged again after a cleaning phase, a charging station separate from the cleaning robot can be provided. The cleaning robot can be designed in such a way that it automatically approaches the charging station in order to charge the accumulator and / or connects itself to the charging station independently.

The vacuum cleaner that the cleaning robot comprises can be designed, for example, as a wet vacuum cleaner, a dry vacuum cleaner or a combined wet / dry vacuum cleaner. For example, the cleaning robot can include a wet vacuum cleaner and be designed to apply liquid to a surface to be cleaned or an object to be cleaned and to suck off the liquid again by means of the wet vacuum cleaner. In addition to the vacuum cleaner, the cleaning robot can include further cleaning devices such as brushes, rollers, wipers, cloths or other cleaning devices. The cleaning action of the vacuum cleaner is preferably supported by these additional cleaning devices.

A cleaning robot that is equipped with a vacuum cleaner usually collects dirt and dust in a dust collector arranged in the cleaning robot. The space available on the cleaning robot is usually limited, so that the space provided for the dust collection container is also limited. In this respect, it is advantageous to provide a dust collection station to which dust and dirt from the dust collection container of the cleaning robot can be discharged from time to time. The cleaning robot can be designed in such a way that it automatically approaches the dust collection station in order to dispense the dust and / or connects itself to the dust collection station independently. The dust collecting station can be designed as a dust collecting station connected to a charging station or as a dust collecting station separate from a charging station.

Bevorzugte Ausgestaltungen der ErfindungPreferred embodiments of the invention

Advantageous training and further developments, which can be used individually or in combination with one another, are the subject matter of the dependent claims and of following description.

In a first embodiment of the invention it is provided that the locking unit is designed as a latching hook in the sense of a sliding block, which when the dust separator unit is inserted into the vacuum cleaner when the handle is pivoted into the locking position in an open slot, in a web or in a groove on the Vacuum cleaner engages and before moving into the end position of the locking position pushes against one end of the slot, the ridge or the groove, so that the latching hook at the end of the slot, the ridge or the groove forms an abutment via which the operating element pans the dust separator unit pushes into the end position of the storage position in a locking position.

According to the idea of the invention, in this embodiment of the invention it is provided that the locking unit of the dust separation unit is designed as a latching hook in the sense of a sliding block. When the removable dust separation unit is inserted into the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot, this sliding block is received through a corresponding, open slot, a web or a groove, the slot, the web or the groove being a segment of an oval modeled on the direction of movement of the sliding block, particularly preferably a segment of a circle is formed. When locking, the sliding block slides within the open web, the slot or the groove and performs an oval or circular movement around a pivot axis along the oval or circular segment until it reaches the end of the slot in the sliding block. Once there, there is a kinematic reversal between the pivot axis and the end point of the movement of the sliding block, in that from this point in time the original pivoting axis rotates around the sliding block for a fraction of an oval or circle. The pivot axis, which is firmly connected to the dust separation unit of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot, performs a vertical movement and also a horizontal movement. Both movements lead to a sealing element of an interface between the dust separation unit and the rest of the flow channel of the vacuum cleaner or the robot vacuum cleaner being pressed against a sealing lip, so that the aforementioned interface is air-flow-tight.

In a second, alternative embodiment of the invention it is provided that the locking unit is designed as a slot, web or groove which, when the dust separation unit is inserted into the vacuum cleaner, interacts with an element acting as a sliding block on the vacuum cleaner when the handle is pivoted into the blocking position and in front the movement into the end position of the locking position slot, web or groove and sliding block reach an end position, so that the element acting as a sliding block forms an abutment at the end of the slot, the web or the groove, via which the control element opens the dust separation unit when pivoting into the Pushes the end position of the locking position into a locking position.

According to the idea of the invention, in this embodiment of the invention it is provided that the locking unit of the dust separation unit engages around a latching hook in the sense of a sliding block on the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot or interacts with it like a gate. When the removable dust separation unit is inserted into the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot, the sliding block is received through a corresponding, open slot, a web or a groove, the slot, the web or the groove forming an oval or circular segment. When locking, the locking hook slides as a sliding block within the open slot, along the web or the groove and performs an oval or circular movement around a pivot axis along the oval or circular segment until it reaches the end of the slot of the sliding block. Once there, a kinematic reversal takes place between the pivot axis and the end point of the movement of the sliding block, in that from this point in time the original pivoting axis rotates around the sliding block for a fraction of an oval or circle.

In a preferred embodiment of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaning robot with a dust separation unit, it is provided that a first elastic sealing lip on the dust separation unit and / or on the vacuum cleaner or is arranged on the vacuum cleaner robot in such a way that it deforms mechanically before reaching the locking position when moving into the end position. This has the advantage that both a handle can be put into a storage position with a single handle, and at the same time the dust separation unit is locked and securely sealed so that the sealing lip seals an air duct connection between a fan of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot and the dust separation unit.

In a further preferred embodiment of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot with a dust separation unit, it is provided that the setting is designed as a locking link, with a slot, a web or a groove in the setting receiving the locking hook under its own deformation and the slot or the groove at the end of the setting is shaped so that the locking hook rests at the end position without deforming the link itself. This type of link guide has the advantage that the link closes itself and locks against undesired automatic opening.

In the locking movement, it is advantageously provided that the slot, the web or the groove is shaped so that the dust separation unit when pivoting the handle into the end position when used as intended in the vacuum cleaner or in the vacuum cleaner robot both a horizontal movement in relation to performs a flat roof surface of the dust separation unit against the first elastic sealing lip and also performs a vertical movement in relation to a flat roof surface of the dust separation unit against a second elastic sealing lip, the second sealing lip sealing the dust separation unit against a housing of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot. The horizontal and vertical movement components can be used both to seal an air duct seal between the dust separation unit and the flow duct of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot, and to seal a seal between the dust separation unit and the housing of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot.

The backdrop can have a curved slot, such a web or a curved groove which corresponds to a segment of a circle whose center point coincides with the pivot axis of the handle when the dust separation unit is in the vacuum cleaner or robot vacuum cleaner is inserted and not pulled in the direction of the locking position. Locking by swiveling the handle causes the dust separation unit to be pulled into a seal.

For a particularly firm locking of the dust separation unit in the housing of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaning robot, it can be provided that the operating element has a driver which, when the dust separation unit is locked, compresses or deforms the slot, the web or the groove of the link at the open end and thus the locking hook is locked in the backdrop. This has the advantage that the seal between the dust separation unit and the flow channel of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot is particularly strong and tight. In an alternative embodiment of the invention, there is no such driver.

For a particularly simple mechanics, the control element and the locking element can be arranged on a common lever, whereby it is also advantageous if the control element has a roof surface element which, in the locked position, is flush with an outer surface of the housing of the vacuum cleaner or the vacuum cleaner robot.

So that the handle is secured against unwanted opening, a locking arrangement can also lock the handle in its locked position. A preferred locking arrangement is a magnetic lock. The magnetic lock preferably comprises a ferromagnetic material on one of the components handle and housing and one or more corresponding permanent magnets on the other of the two components handle and housing. Particularly preferably, the ferromagnetic material arranged on the handle or the permanent magnets are arranged on the bow part of the handle. The ferromagnetic material and the permanent magnet correspond to one another in such a way that in the locked position of the handle, the handle is held in the locked position by the interaction between the ferromagnetic material and the permanent magnet (s).

Detaillierte Beschreibung von Ausführungen der ErfindungDetailed description of embodiments of the invention

In the following description of preferred embodiments of the present invention, the same reference symbols designate the same or comparable components.

In Figure 1 is an isometric sketch of a dust separation unit 20 of a vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner robot 10 with a locking unit 40 in the form of a sliding block. The dust separation unit 20 also has a cover as a roof surface element 24, which is arranged both firmly on the upper side of the dust separation unit 20 and on a handle as an operating element 21 is. The roof surface element 24 serves to cover the dust separation unit 20 in an air-flow-tight manner when it is inserted in the vacuum cleaner or vacuum-cleaning robot 10. To lock the dust separation unit 20, it is provided that the handle has a transmission element 30, which in its simplest form can be a lever 23 Pivoting the handle from a removal position into a storage position in a corresponding slot 52 of a vacuum cleaner or robot vacuum cleaner 10 inserts. The lower region of the dust separation unit 20 has a dust collection container which, via a corresponding opening, discharges filtered air from a fan of the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner robot 10 to an exhaust pipe.

In Figure 2 FIG. 13 shows a perspective view of a receiving opening for the dust separating unit 20 from FIG Fig. 1 a vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner robot 10 outlined, which has a lateral backdrop 50 for the locking unit 40 from Fig. 1 having. In the Fig. 1 Isometrically shown dust separation unit 20 is used for use in the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner robot 10 approximately as shown. The locking unit 40, which is connected to the dust separation unit 20 via a lever 23, fits into the link 50 when it is inserted into the slot 52 of the link 50. When pivoting the handle by turning it to the right, the lever 23 rotates and the locking unit 40 moves like a sliding block along the slot 52 of the gate 50. Shortly before reaching the end position, the locking unit strikes the end 51 of the slot 52 of the gate 50. When the end 51 is abutted, a kinematic reversal between the function of the pivot axis SA of the handle and the locking element 40 takes place. Before reaching the end 51, the pivot axis acts as an axis of rotation. however, when it hits the end 51 of the slot 52 in the link 50, the locking element 40 acts in the end 51 of the slot 52 like an axis of rotation about which the original pivot axis SA now rotates for a fraction of a circular movement. When the dust separating unit 20 is used as intended, the original pivot axis SA performs both a vertical downward movement in the Z direction in relation to a flat roof surface element 24 and a horizontal movement in the X direction in relation to a flat roof surface element 24. With this both vertical and horizontal Movement pushes a sealing counter bearing 60a of the dust separation unit 20 against a sealing lip 60 of the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner robot 10, the sealing lip 60 being slightly deformed and the dust separation unit 20 sealing against the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner robot 10.

Figure 3 shows the surroundings of the backdrop 50 of the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaning robot 10 in an isometric view. The slot 52 of the coulisse 50 has an approximately circular shape, the circle described by the slot 52 having a circle center KM which approximately coincides with the position of the pivot axis SA of the dust separating unit 20 when the dust separating unit 20 is in the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaning robot 10 is used. So that the locking unit 40 is securely received in the slot 52 when the dust separating unit 20 is inserted, it is provided that the tongue 54, which forms the slot 52, is bent outwards to the open side, so that the opening of the slot 52 is widened. According to the concept of the invention, it is not absolutely necessary for the slot 52 or a corresponding web or a corresponding groove to execute a circular movement. If the closure element 40 acting as a sliding block is arranged displaceably, it is also possible for the slot 52 or a corresponding web or a groove to have a different curve shape. When the handle is pivoted about a pivot axis SA, the displaceably mounted closure element 40 then compensates for a shape that deviates from the shape of a segment of a circle. A link guide deviating in this way from the circular segment shape has the advantage that the slot 52, a corresponding web or a corresponding groove can be freely shaped, for example to be arranged in a space-saving manner in the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner robot. Thus, it can be provided that when the handle is pivoted about shortly before reaching the end point of the locking position, the locking element 40, which acts as a sliding block, overcomes an apex within the curve shape of the sliding block, so that the restoring force of a sealing lip cannot open the sliding block automatically. The locking of the handle in the end position of the locking position would then be omitted.

In Figure 4 is a sketch of the merged locking unit from Fig. 1 and the backdrop Fig. 3 shown in the open state. According to the idea of the invention, it is provided that at least one locking unit 40 is present for releasably fixing the dust separation unit 20 on the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner robot 10.

In this exemplary embodiment, this locking unit 40 is designed as a latching hook in the sense of a sliding block that, when the dust separating unit 20 is inserted into the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner robot 10, moves a handle as an operating element 21 into the locking position, in the present case into a horizontal position, into an open gate 50 engages on the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner robot 10 and strikes against an end 51 of the link 50 before moving into the end position of the blocking position. The distance covered by the locking unit 40 when the handle is pivoted from the removal position into the end position of the blocking position along arrow P1 is shown as arrow P2. When it hits an end 51 of the link 50, the latching hook at the end 51 of the link 50 forms an abutment, via which the operating element 21, which is designed here as a handle for removing the dust separating unit 20, swivels the dust separating unit 20 from its removal position into the end position the locking position pushes into a locking position.

The locking position is in Figure 5 shown. In the locking position of the dust separation unit 20, provision is made for a first elastic sealing lip 60 to be arranged on the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaning robot 10 in such a way that it deforms mechanically before it reaches the locking position when it moves into the end position. In the present embodiment, the sealing lip 60 is arranged slightly inclined relative to the vertical, the sealing lip 60 sealing an air duct connection between a fan of the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaning robot 10 and the dust separation unit 20. In the embodiment shown here it is provided that the link 50 is designed as a locking link, with a slot 52 or a groove in the link 50 accommodates the locking hook under its own deformation and at the end of the link 50 the slot or the groove is shaped so that the Latching hook rests at the end position without deforming the link 50 of its own. The free-standing tongue 54, which forms the slot 52 of the gate 50, can move along the arrow P3. If the latching hook (locking element 40) moves along the in Figure 5 The circular path drawn in dashed lines, the tongue 54 rises slightly and allows the latching hook to reach the end 53 of the link 50. There, at the end 52 of the backdrop, the slot 52 is open so wide that the tongue 54 snaps back into its starting position and the latching hook rests at the end position without deforming the link 50 itself and thus provides a latching function of the latching hook. About the locking effect of the backdrop 50 and the locking hook, it can be provided that the operating element 21 has a further driver 22 which, when the dust separation unit 20 is locked, compresses the slot 52 or the groove of the gate 50 at the open end and thus the locking hook in the gate 50 locked. Alternatively or additionally, the handle can be locked by a locking arrangement in the form of a magnetic lock. The magnetic lock comprises two ferromagnetic disks arranged in the bracket of the handle and two permanent magnets, which are arranged in the housing below the area where the ferromagnetic disks of the handle come to rest in the locked position of the handle, so that permanent magnet (s) and ferromagnetic disks through the handle fix their magnetic interaction in the locked position.

Depending on the configuration of the gate 50, it can be provided that the gate 50 is shaped so that the dust separation unit 20 performs a horizontal movement against the first elastic sealing lip 60 when the handle is swiveled into the end position, when it is used as intended in the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner robot 10 as well as a vertical movement against a second elastic sealing lip 70, wherein the second sealing lip 70 seals the dust separation unit 20 against a housing 11 of the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner robot 10. Furthermore, the operating element 21 can have a roof surface element 24 which, in the locked position of the handle, is flush with an outer surface of the housing 11 of the vacuum cleaner or vacuum cleaner robot 10.

The features disclosed in the above description, the claims and the drawings can be important both individually and in any combination for the implementation of the invention in its various embodiments.
