Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a tongue device according to the preamble of claim 1 and a method of manufacturing a tongue device according to the preamble of claim 14.
  • Such tongue devices are used in particular, but not exclusively, for grooved rail switches. They have a stock rail, an auxiliary rail and a tongue, with a tongue bed for the tongue, on which the tongue can also slide without separate lubricants.
  • adjusting boxes are usually arranged adjacent to the auxiliary rail, in which adjusting devices are provided. These adjusting devices have a slide rod which is connected to the tongue via a clutch.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a latch device with a connection to an adjusting device for the latch that is not as wide as previously known solutions. Alternatively or additionally, a simple and efficient dewatering should be possible.
  • the inventor has recognized that the task set can be solved in a surprising manner very simply and inexpensively in that the connecting means between the tongue and an adjusting device of the tongue device do not move in the area of the tongue bed extend below the vertical level of the lower edge of the tongue. This promotes drainage of the tongue bed, since no indentations and the like are required in the tongue bed for the connecting means, for example in the form of a coupling.
  • the durability of the tongue device is improved since the tongue does not have to slide over corresponding edges of such a depression.
  • the tongue contact surface of the tongue bed can be formed in one piece, ie without interruption by recesses for receiving the connecting means or signaling components.
  • the switch device in particular for grooved rail switches, thus has a stock rail, a side rail and a switch, with a switch bed for the switch, the connecting means in the area of the switch bed not extending downwards beyond the vertical level of the lower edge of the switch.
  • Connecting means are, very generally, those means which are used for the mechanically coupling connection between tongue and adjusting device. It can be clutches, slide rods, the adjusting rods described below and the like. Act.
  • the connecting means do not rest on the tongue bed, because this avoids damage to the tongue bed or the connecting means.
  • the tongue has an actuating rod which extends through the auxiliary rail, preferably into an actuating box of the actuating device, so that it can preferably be connected outside of the auxiliary rail with a coupling to the slide rod of an actuating device.
  • the switch device can be made very narrow, since the coupling between the switch and the slide rod is not installed in the switch device itself, but in a control box arranged behind the auxiliary rail.
  • control rod can be round or oval or angular in cross section. It can be formed integrally with the tongue, firmly connected to the tongue or detachably connected to the tongue.
  • the adjusting device has a slide rod which is connected to the adjusting rod by a first clutch.
  • the coupling allows quick replacement in the event of maintenance.
  • the first clutch is preferably designed to be movable, with in particular horizontal pivotability around a vertical axis, because this allows shear forces to be dissipated during the positioning process.
  • the first clutch is preferably located in the operating state of the tongue device in the control box, because this allows the tongue device to be made particularly narrow.
  • the latch has a latch base and a latch bar, with a second coupling being provided between the latch base and/or the latch bar and the actuating rod. Then the switch device is particularly easy to maintain.
  • the second clutch is preferably designed to be rigid in order to provide maximum traction.
  • tongue foot and/or tongue bridge means that the second coupling between the actuating rod and the tongue can be connected to the tongue foot, to the tongue bridge or to both.
  • the second coupling can be released through an opening in the side rail.
  • This opening can be in the vertical section and/or in the horizontal section of the side rail.
  • the second clutch is designed with teeth. As a result, there is a particularly simple but secure coupling between the tongue and the actuating rod.
  • the second coupling has at least one projection and a corresponding recess in the vertical direction.
  • the second clutch has a form fit. This also relieves the load on the second clutch in the direction of action, that is to say parallel to the extension of the actuating rod.
  • the second clutch has a screw connection.
  • This screw connection results in a particularly secure coupling which, in connection with a form fit and/or the design with a projection and corresponding recess, can turn out to be very small because you do not have to secure high loads.
  • the screw connection can run both parallel to the height of the tongue and transversely thereto.
  • the screw connection is preferably arranged on the tongue away from the actuating device, with the actuating rod or a corresponding coupling piece of the actuating rod being inserted in particular through the tongue and on the side of the tongue on this side of the actuating device there is a form fit, for example in the form of at least one shoulder , wherein the shoulder is in particular formed circumferentially.
  • the actuating rod is inserted into the tongue, preferably pushed through it, because this allows it to be coupled to the tongue in a structurally particularly simple and maintenance-friendly manner. If the actuating rod has a head which is arranged countersunk in the latch, with a bayonet locking mechanism in particular between the head and latch, then the latch device requires particularly little maintenance and is easy to install.
  • the tongue has a tongue foot and a tongue bridge and the adjusting rod is firmly connected to the tongue foot and/or the tongue bridge, it being preferably provided that the side rail has an opening that is open at the top and is designed in particular to be closable is.
  • the connection of the tongue is then particularly permanent, since there is no detachable connection between the tongue base and the actuating rod.
  • "Fixed" in this context therefore means inseparable, for example welded or integrally connected. So there is no detachable coupling.
  • the positioning device has a positioning box with an end wall, the end wall also having an opening which is designed to be closable, it being preferably provided that the closure of the side rail and the Closure of the end wall are designed as a common closure. The tongue can then be fitted and maintained particularly easily and conveniently.
  • the tongue device has a drainage in the area of the tongue bed, which is preferably designed as an opening, in particular as a bore.
  • this area is subject to a high volume of water, so that drainage of this area extends the service life and, in particular, ensures the operating function of the switch device when it is cold.
  • the drainage of the tongue bed is very effective and yet it does not adversely affect the operation of the tongue since the tongue does not sweep over the drainage aperture.
  • the tongue pushes the water itself into the drainage when it is in operation, if it does not already flow there by itself.
  • a heating device with a heating rod is in a cladding tube, with the cladding tube not crossing the drainage but ending at most in the drainage.
  • the drainage does not interfere with the heating device and, moreover, the cladding tube can be drained into the drainage.
  • the connecting means in the area of the connecting means, preferably in the area where the connecting means passes through the side rail, there is a barrier between the tongue bed and the control box against water overflow, with the barrier being designed in particular as an edge that is raised relative to the tongue bed. This is preferably a raised edge of the auxiliary rail. Then a transfer of moisture from the tongue area into the control box is made more difficult or completely avoided.
  • the tongue bed is designed to be inclined relative to the horizontal in the direction of the opening if the given longitudinal inclination of the track system is too small for natural drainage.
  • This inclination is preferably at least 0.5° and in particular at least 1°.
  • a switch device in particular for grooved rail switches, with a stock rail, a side rail and a switch, with a switch bed for the switch, the switch being connected via connecting means to an actuating device which is characterized by this that the connecting means are arranged in such a way that they do not extend downwards in the area of the tongue bed beyond the vertical level of the lower edge of the tongue.
  • the tongue device according to the invention is produced.
  • the switch device 10 has a lower part 12 which can, for example, be constructed in an elevated manner (not shown), on which a stock rail 14 and a side rail 16 are fastened.
  • a tongue bed 18 is formed on the lower part 12, on which a tongue 20 is slidably arranged. To reduce friction, separate sliding layers or metal sheets or rollers can be provided on the tongue 20 (not shown).
  • the tongue 20 has a tongue foot 22, which is connected via a coupling 24, which has a bolt 26, to a slide rod 28 of an adjusting device 30, which is not shown in full.
  • This adjusting device 30 is arranged in an adjusting box 32 which then extends to the auxiliary rail 16 .
  • control box cover 32' Shown are the control box cover 32' and the end wall 32" of the control box 32 of the control box 32.
  • the control box cover 32' usually rests on two longitudinal walls, not shown, of the control box 32 and is screwed there and there is no connection between the control box cover 32' and the front wall 32 ", but there is usually a gap 33 in between.
  • the actuating box cover 32' is then removed.
  • the side rail 16 and the control box 32 each have an opening 34, 36 through which the slide rod 28 runs.
  • the tongue bed 18 is provided with a recess 38, which gives space for the coupling 24 with the bolt 26.
  • This recess 38 has a negative effect on the durability of the tongue 20, since this tongue 20 always moves when adjusting with the adjusting device 30 the edges 40 of the recess 38 is displaced, resulting in increased wear.
  • the tongue is not supported in the area of the recess 38 .
  • this tongue device 10 could be equipped with drainage in the form of an opening 42 in the lower part 12 for drainage purposes.
  • the recess 38 because of the recess 38, not all of the water that occurs can be discharged by the tongue movement itself.
  • the switch device 100 has a lower part 12a in the form of a base block on which the stock rail 14 and a side rail 16a are arranged. Further details on the design of the base block 12a can be found in the European patent application filed on the same day under the title: "Tongue device and method for producing a tongue device” and the German patent application 10 2017 109 636.1 from the same applicant, the content of which is fully referred to in this regard.
  • the tongue bed 18a is continuous and without recesses, as in 1 designed so that it supports the tongue continuously and without edge effects.
  • the tongue 20a has a tongue foot 22a which is formed with a projection 102 projecting vertically upwards.
  • a coupling 106 for connecting the tongue foot 22a to an actuating rod 108 is fastened to the tongue foot 22a with a screw connection 104 .
  • the part of the coupling 106 belonging to the actuating rod 108 has a recess 110 corresponding to the projection.
  • This clutch 106 is rigid.
  • the actuating rod 108 is connected with the coupling 24 and the bolt 26 to the slide rod 28a of the actuating device 30a, which in turn is located in an actuating box 32a resting against the side rail 16.
  • This coupling 24 is thus held movably and can be pivoted in the horizontal direction about the bolt 26.
  • Both the side rail 16 and the control box 32a are in turn provided with openings 34a, 36a for the adjusting device 30, the opening 36a being in the front wall 32a" of the control box 32a and the control box cover 32a' in turn not being connected to the front wall 32a".
  • openings 34a, 36a for the adjusting device 30, the opening 36a being in the front wall 32a" of the control box 32a and the control box cover 32a' in turn not being connected to the front wall 32a".
  • a significantly lower vertical height of these openings is evidently necessary, since the coupling 106 is of significantly flatter construction. As a result, less dirt can be carried from the tongue bed 18a into the positioning box 32a.
  • the coupling 106 between the tongue 20 and the actuating rod 108 also has numerous other advantages.
  • drainage in the form of an opening 42a is arranged at a distance of about 1 cm from the tongue tip 112 . Accordingly, this opening 42a is likewise not run over by the tongue 20a during adjustment, so that the edges 44a of this opening 42a also do not cause any wear on the tongue 20a.
  • the entire tongue bed 18a can be free of recesses 38, so that water can flow freely into the drainage 42a and, if necessary, the drainage is further promoted by adjusting the tongue 20a, which pushes the water into the drainage 42a .
  • the lateral extent of the coupling 106 is significantly less than that of the coupling 24, so that the tongue device 100, ie the lateral distance between the stock rail 14 and the side rail 16a, can be kept significantly smaller.
  • the clutch 106 is designed here with teeth, but solutions with multiple teeth are also possible.
  • the projection 102 can also be arranged on the actuating rod 108 and the recess 110 on the tongue foot 22a.
  • toothings ie not with active surfaces 114, 116 running perpendicularly, but for example with sloping and/or curved ones Active surfaces possible, as is also the case with the contact surface 118 between the tongue 20a and the actuating rod 108.

  • the tongue 20b which is displaceably arranged on the tongue bed 18b, has a very short tongue foot 22b here, and the actuating rod 108b has a coupling piece 202, which is also very short when viewed from the side. Between the tongue 20b and the coupling piece 202 there is in turn a sloping active surface 118b and, in addition, a vertical active surface 204.
  • the coupling 106b has an even smaller lateral extension than the coupling 106 according to FIG 2 , so that the tongue device 200 can be made even narrower.
  • the clutch 106b has a simpler design so that it can be manufactured more simply and cost-effectively.
  • the actuating rod 108, 108b was always connected to the tongue 20a, 20b via a releasable coupling 106, 106b.
