Die Zuführbänder für die Produkte beispielsweise in Transportrichtung über die Verpackungsmulden hinwegzuführen, scheidet in der Praxis aus, da die Verpackungsmaschine in der Regel auf ihrer gesamten Oberseite zugänglich sein muss. Eine solche Vorgehensweise würde zudem seitliche Zuführungskurven und Abführungskurven für das Zuführband erfordern, damit das Zuführband in den unmittelbaren Bereich der Verpackungsmaschine hineingeführt und aus diesem Bereich wieder herausgeführt werden kann.
