Claims (3)

  1. Shearer loader for mining extraction in longwall mining, comprising a machine body (1) which is movable along a longwall conveyor (2) in the longwall longitudinal direction, and at least one cutting drum (4) which is supported by a support arm (3) that is pivotably fastened to the machine body (1), and said cutting drum is mounted on the free end of the support arm (3) in such a manner that said cutting drum can rotate about an axis that extends parallel to the roofs and perpendicular to the coal face, and said cutting drum can be driven by a drive motor, which is allocated to the support arm (3), via a gear train that is arranged in the interior of the support arm (3) and via a planetary gear that is located on the free end of the support arm (3), and the gear casing (5) of which planetary gear that is connected in a non-rotatable manner to the end section of the support arm (3) consists of annular casing sections (5a, 5b, 5c) that are arranged in a row adjacent to one another in an axial manner and are held together by means of threaded bolts (6) that are located on the periphery of said annular casing sections,
    characterised in that
    the casing section (5c) of the gear casing (5) adjoining the support arm (3) comprises a separate attachment flange (7) that protrudes radially and that can be fixed by means of a separate screw connection (8, 9) to a suitable mating flange (10) on the free end of the support arm (3).
  2. Shearer loader according to Claim 1, characterized in that a non-rotatable connection is provided between the last gear wheel of the gear train located in the support arm (3) and the drive shaft of the planetary gear by means of a splined composite element (12), which in the case of a planetary gear being fitted, may be slid from the offset side into suitable receiving openings in the last gear wheel of the gear train and the drive shaft of the planetary gear.
  3. Shearer loader according to Claim 1, characterised in that the separate screw connection (8, 9) for fixing the gear casing (5) to the support arm (3) comprises threaded bolts (8) and pretension nuts (9) that may be mechanically fixed in the pre-stressed position.
