  • the settlement/collection module 3 with the cash register head 4 comprises a barcode scanner and a payment station, where in the shown embodiments of the invention, for the self-service operational mode a card payment station is provided, and for the cashier-attended operational mode of the cash register station also a cash payment station is additionally provided which requires for example an additional container for the cash paid.

  • Carrying out of the function to change of the cash register station according to the invention lies in the fact that the cash register head 4 of the settlement/collection module 3, comprising the cashier's registering module 8 and the customer's registering module 9 positioned at two opposite sides of the cash register head 4, is arranged slideably so as to be positioned the farthest from the cashier space 8 when in the cashier-attended operational mode of the cash register station 1.
  • the head 4 of the settlement/collection module 3 slides linearly substantially perpendicularly to the direction of movement of the customer of the cash register station 1 so as to be positioned the closest to the cashier station 8 when in the customer self-service function of the payment.
  • the locking barrier 12 automatically opens and customer may leave the zone of the cash register station 1.
  • the cash register head 4 of the settlement/collection module 3 comprises a control module for the barrier 12 to unlock exit from the zone of the cash register station 1.
  • Movement of the head 4 of the settlement/collection module 3 in the direction towards the customer space 7 in the cashier-assisted operational mode of the cash register station 1 provides him/her enough space for effecting transaction and customer service, including access to all the functions of the cash register station 1.
  • Movement of the head 4 of the settlement/collection module 3 in the direction towards the cashier space 6 in the self-service operational mode of the cash register station 1 provides the customer with access to all the functions of the cash register station 1 necessary for effective realization of transaction.
  • Movement of the cash register head 4 of the settlement/collection module 3 between the cashier space 6 and the customer space 7 is carried out by a sliding mechanism 100 positioned in the settlement/collection module 3.
  • the construction of the sliding mechanism 100 positioned in the settlement/collection module 3 is shown in an embodiment in fig. 7 and fig. 8 .
  • the sliding mechanism 100 is a frame 101, on which guides 102 are seated.
  • a base 104 is arranged via bearings, on which base the cash register head 4 of the settlement/collection module 3 is located.
  • the base 104 is connected to a slide mechanism 103 driven by a motor 105 by means of the pushing mechanism 106.
  • the pushing mechanism 106 in the embodiment of the invention shown in fig. 7 and fig 8 is constituted by lead screws connected by a threaded connection with the base 104 of the cash register head 4.
  • the lead screws of the pushing mechanism are arranged in collar bearings 103.
  • the sliding mechanism 100 is controlled by a microprocessor (not shown) that assumes the desired position of the cash register head 4 and its functions suitably to the assumed operational mode of the cash register station 1.
