Against this background, an object of the present invention is to provide an improved Spülgutaufnahme for flat ware in a dishwasher.

Claims (15)

1. Washing item receptacle (12) for a flat washing item (17) in a dishwasher (1), in particular in a domestic dishwasher, having a base (14) and at least one support element (13) for supporting the flat washing item (17), wherein the at least one support element (13) is configured to be pivoted between a rest position arranged in a plane of the base (14) and a support position which projects from the plane of the base (14), and characterised in that the at least one support element (13) can be pivoted from the rest position into the support position by a weight of the flat washing item (17).
2. Washing item receptacle (12) according to claim 1, characterised in that the at least one support element (13) is pivotably hinged in the base (14).
3. Washing item receptacle (12) according to claim 2, characterised in that the at least one support element (13) is pivotably hinged in the base (14) by a pin-bush joint (25).
4. Washing item receptacle (12) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the at least one support element (13) has a recess (22), which can be snapped open in order to pivotably hinge the at least one support element (13) on a cylindrical rod element (15, 16) of the base (14).

Washing item receptacle (12) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the at least one support element (13) has a lever extension (21), which is configured to pivot the at least one support element (13) from the rest position into the support position on account of its weight when the flat washing item (17) is introduced.
6. Washing item receptacle (12) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised by a return spring (27) for returning the at least one support element (13) from the support position into the rest position when the flat washing item (17) is removed.
7. Washing item receptacle (12) according to one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the at least one support element (13) is configured to return from the support position into the rest position when the flat washing item (17) is removed, on account of a weight of the support element (13).
8. Washing item receptacle (12) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the at least one support element (13) has a stop (23), which is configured to fix the rest position of the at least one support element (13).
9. Washing item receptacle (12) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised by at least one bracing element (24) for bracing an edge, close to the base, of the flat washing item (17).
10. Washing item receptacle (12) according to claim 9, wherein the at least one bracing element (24) is an element of the base (14).
11. Washing item receptacle (12) according to claim 9, wherein the at least one bracing element (24) is a hook extension (26) of the at least one support element (13), which is configured to grip the edge of the flat washing item (17) which rests on the base (14) in the support position.
12. Washing item receptacle (12) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the flat washing item (17) is a plate (18).
13. Washing item receptacle (12) according to claim 12, characterised by at least one additional support element (13), wherein when the plate (18) is introduced the at least two support elements (13) are configured to receive a depression (19) of the plate therebetween or thereupon.
14. Washing item receptacle (12) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the at least one support element (13) is embodied to be flat or rod-shaped.
15. Washing item receptacle (12) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the at least one support element (13) is embodied in plastic and/or metal.
