Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Gewebe mit Kettfäden und Schussfäden.The invention relates to a fabric with warp threads and weft threads.

Furthermore, the invention relates to a use of such a fabric.

Sun-exposed areas can be equipped to protect people with fixed or, if necessary, retractable and extendable shading elements. An example of this are awnings, as they are often provided on terraces or balconies of residential buildings.

A shading element such as an awning is usually constructed of a fabric which is connected to mechanical components which allow either a fixed or temporally variable positioning of the shading element. In the case of an awning, a frame is generally provided, for example, in which the awning is clamped rolled up and, if necessary, can be extended under unrolling and retracted later.

The fabric of an awning or of another shading element is in addition exposed to exposure to sunlight, in particular weathering. The fabric usually withstands many years of exposure to sunlight because the fabric is just designed for this purpose. However, weather influences such as rain or snow can clog the fabric and also lead to an undesirable appearance. In particular raindrops, which are deposited, for example, on an awning, can lead to undesirable color spots, especially in the case of darker awning fabrics. This undesirable effect can increase with strong pollen.

More importantly, rainwater can also indirectly affect the longevity of the tissue. If an awning retracts in the rain, raindrops are already on the awning and are rolled up with this, if the awning is rolled up after the onset of rain on a shaft provided for this purpose. As a result, the water remains inside the rolled-up awning, which increases over time Depending on how long the awning remains in the rolled-up state. DE 20 2013 002 389 U1 discloses an awning fabric having at least two webs of warp and weft yarns, wherein the warp yarns are alternately formed of regions of larger and smaller yarn diameters such that in a cross section of the fabric surfaces of the regions of one warp are higher than surfaces of the regions of the other warp. This arrangement serves to avoid the formation of wrinkles at the seams when rolling up the awning fabric.

The object of the invention is to provide a fabric with which the above-described problems can be avoided.

This object is achieved if, in a fabric of the type mentioned, the warp threads are formed alternately from areas of multifilament yarn and areas of staple fiber yarn, wherein the staple fiber yarn has a larger diameter than the multifilament yarn, so that in a cross section of the fabric surfaces of the areas of the staple fiber yarn higher as surfaces of the areas of the multifilament yarn.

Ausfahrens.A fabric according to the invention is characterized in that, as a result of the alternating arrangement of regions of multifilament yarn on the one hand and regions of staple fiber yarn on the other hand, a channel structure can be virtually formed if the staple fiber yarn has a larger diameter than the multi-filament yarn. The surfaces of the staple fiber yarn areas in a cross-section of the fabric perpendicular to the warp yarns are then over the surfaces of the areas of multi-filament yarn. Any water may then be drained along the lower lying areas of the multi-filament yarn. This is useful, for example, when the fabric is used in an awning and the awning is rolled up. The channel structure then extends with appropriate arrangement of the tissue along the direction of extension or extension.

When retracting the awning, the water is then pushed out along the areas of Mulitfilamentgarn so that accumulation of water in the rolled up awning area is minimized or at least reduced.

The regions of multifilament yarn may comprise from 1 to 40, preferably 1 to 30, more preferably 2 to 20, in particular 2 to 8, directly adjacent to each other arranged multifilament yarns or be formed from these. Basically, a single multifilament yarn is already sufficient to form a corresponding area for the warp threads. Preferably, however, at least two multifilament yarns are provided, which are arranged directly next to each other. It has proven to be appropriate have proven to limit an upper number of immediately adjacent multifilament yarns of 40, preferably 30. If more juxtaposed multifilament yarns are provided, the corresponding areas become so wide that an asymmetrical strength ratio can arise. This results from the fact that mainly the multifilament yarns are responsible for the strength or absorb forces. In this regard, it has proven to be particularly advantageous for optimizing all use properties to limit an upper number of multifilament yarns to 8.

The multifilament yarn may in particular be in the form of a smooth yarn, which promotes a drainage of water.

Since the multifilament yarn, like the staple fiber yarn, is exposed to weathering influences, in particular also to UV irradiation, it is expedient for the multifilament yarn to be spinneret-dyed.

The multifilament yarn can consist of any materials suitable for this purpose, which can be processed in particular by means of spinneret dyeing. For this example, polyester or polypropylene come into question. Particularly preferred is a use of polyacrylonitrile.

The regions of staple fiber yarn can, for example, comprise or be formed from 1 to 15, preferably 1 to 10, in particular 2 to 8, staple fiber yarns arranged directly next to one another. The number of staple fiber yarns of a range thereof is particularly tuned to the areas of multifilament yarns.

The staple fiber yarn may also be in the form of a spinneret, as is the case with the multifilament yarn.

The weft threads can basically consist of any yarn. The weft threads preferably consist of a multifilament yarn. In particular, the weft threads may be formed from the same multifilament yarn which is also present in the warp threads.

In accordance with the advantages presented above, a fabric according to the invention is used, in particular, as tissue for awnings.

  • Fig. 1 ein schematisch dargestelltes Gewebe;
  • Fig. 2 Bereiche verschiedener Garne im Querschnitt;
Further features, advantages and effects of the invention will become apparent from the embodiment illustrated below. In the drawings, to which reference is made, show:
  • Fig. 1 a schematically illustrated tissue;
  • Fig. 2 Areas of different yarns in cross section;
  • Fig. 3 a schematic representation of the surface of a fabric according to the invention.

In Fig. 1 an inventive fabric 1 is shown in a highly schematic. The fabric 1 is formed of warp threads 2 and weft threads 3. The warp threads 2 consist on the one hand of a multi-filament yarn 4 and on the other hand of a staple fiber yarn 5. The multifilament yarn 4 is arranged in bundles of, for example, 2 to 8 yarns, between which there is no staple fiber yarn 5. The multifilament yarns 4 thus arranged thus form a region 41 with an upper, head-side surface 42 of this region 41. The multifilament yarn 4 can be formed, for example, from polyacrylonitrile. To form monofilament yarn 4, up to 200 monofilaments are bonded together. It is advantageous if spinneret-dyed monofilaments are used.

The regions 41 of the multifilament yarn 4 are arranged alternately or alternately with regions 51 of a staple fiber yarn 5. The staple fiber yarn 5 is not present as a single yarn, but as a bundle of adjacent staple yarns 5, which according to Fig. 2 form a region 51 with its upper side or surface 52. It is preferred that the staple fiber yarn 5 is matched in width to a width 41 of the multifilament yarn 4. For example, both areas may each be formed of four adjacent yarns. The staple fiber yarn 5 may be spinneret-dyed like the multifilament yarn 4.

The fabric 1 has in addition to the warp threads 2 usual weft threads 3, which in Fig. 1 only indicated by dashed lines. The exact course of the weft threads 3 depends on the chosen type of binding. The type of binding can be chosen arbitrarily, for example Well-known bindings such as plain weave, twill weave or satin weave. The weft threads 3 may, for example, consist of the same multifilament yarn 4 as those of the regions 41 of the warp threads 2.

The multifilament yarns 4 of the warp yarns 2 are formed with a diameter smaller than that of the staple fiber yarns 5. This results in how in Fig. 2 schematically illustrated, in the cross section of the fabric 1, a structure in which the areas 41 are lower in height than those of the areas 51. The difference in height here refers in particular to an upper side or upper side 42 of the region 41 of the multifilament yarns 4 in comparison with the upper side or surface 52 of the region 51 of the staple fiber yarns 5. In Fig. 2 Although the weft threads 3 are not drawn, regardless of the type of binding, the weft threads 3 do not change the fact that, on average, the areas 41 lie with their surface 42 below the surface 52 of the areas 51. This 1 channel structures are created at the top of the fabric through which water can flow. Together with the drainage of water and dirt is transported away. This is also favored when the Mulitfilamentgarne 4 are smooth, whereby the channel structure is optimized.

A corresponding schematic representation of the thus resulting top side of the fabric 1 is shown in FIG Fig. 3 represented, wherein the channel structures are visible.

A fabric 1 as shown above can be used in any areas, especially in the outdoor area. In this case, a use for awnings has proven to be particularly advantageous. The fabric 1 is mounted on the awning so that the channel structures are arranged along a retraction or extension direction. As a result, water preferably drains along the channels and, in particular, can also be virtually squeezed out when the awning is retracted.
