longitudinal profiles (5) being inserted into receiving areas (101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109 or 200, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210) which are delimited laterally by lamellas (3, 4) and are open in the radial direction, the longitudinal profiles (5) being transported along a transport path from a receiving opening (6, 8) for the longitudinal profiles (5) in a direction of rotation (R) of a drum (1, 2) to an outlet opening (7, 9) spaced apart from the receiving opening (6, 8), and during the rotation of the drum (1, 2) passing at least one washing fluid outlet, from which washing fluid flows out into the currently passing receiving areas (101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109 or 200, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210) and in doing so washes the inserted longitudinal profile (5), and a flexible film (21, 30) being tensioned over at least the receiving areas (101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109 or 200, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210) currently passing the washing fluid outlet and directly contacting the lamellas (3, 4) of the passing receiving area (101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109 or 200, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210) wherein at least one tension device is arranged along at least one long end (22, 23, 31, 32) of the film (21, 30) which produces a permanent pretension on the film during the rotation of the drum (1, 2) characterised in that the film (21, 30) has on both long edges (22, 23, 31, 32) one of the tensioning devices (26, 27, 35, 36) which interact and by which the film (21, 30) is displaceable back and forth in the circumferential direction. - Method according to claim 10, characterised in that the film (21, 30) is displaced relative to a frame (28) in the circumferential direction of the drum (1, 2), by combined adjustment of interacting tensioning devices (26, 27, 35, 36) arranged on both long edges (22, 23, 31, 32) of the films (21, 30).
