Definitions
- the invention relates to a container covered with a security envelope, capable of ensuring identification of fraudulent opening of such a container.
- the applicant proposed in the document FR 2 754 375 a security envelope comprising a heat-shrinkable plastic sleeve equipped on its internal face with a holographic element and a tear strip passing over the holographic element in order to tear the holographic element when opening the envelope.
- the holographic element is transferable to the wall of the facing container, so that any manipulation of the security envelope has the effect of automatically destroying the transferred holographic element.
- the invention aims to provide a container covered with a security envelope having an increased level of security.
- a container covered with a safety envelope surrounding the container the envelope comprising a sleeve and a safety strip secured to an internal face of said sleeve and comprising at least one weakening zone , the security strip being shaped so that it surrounds at least partly the container under a ring of the container and in the immediate vicinity of said ring, the security strip then creating a clamping zone of the container.
- the safety strip when attempting to remove the sleeve, the safety strip will be very heavily stressed due to its arrangement just below the ring of the container and its tightening around the container. The weakened zone will consequently change state, leaving a visible trace of manipulation of the sleeve, in particular fraudulent manipulation of the sleeve.
- container is meant a container comprising at least one body, a neck extending in the upper part of the body and a ring forming the open end of the container and itself extending the neck.
- the ring can take different shapes and thus be flat, square... In all cases, the ring forms a shoulder with the collar at the level of the junction between the ring and the collar.
- the ring is like this also called “carnette ring”, the carnette designating the raised ring of the ring partly forming said shoulder with the collar.
- the weakening zone forms a break zone of the safety strip.
- the weakened zone is thus formed by a cutout in the safety strip.
- the safety strip is shaped like a crown.
- At least part of the security strip is in contact with a flap of the container.
- the security strip also includes at least one security sign.
- the sleeve comprises at least one cutting line extending at least partly in a portion of the sleeve covering the safety strip.
- the sleeve is shaped like a capsule.
- the capsule is shaped like a truncated cone.
- the envelope further comprises a washer protecting a cap of the container.
- the capsule includes a circumferential chute, the washer resting on the chute.
- the washer is arranged inside the sleeve between the chute and an internal face of an upper base of the capsule.
- the washer is secured to the sleeve.
- the security strip is in two parts.
- the safety envelope according to the first embodiment of the invention comprises a sleeve 1 which is here made of heat-shrinkable plastic material and cut from a sheath made using a film in said material.
- the sleeve 1 is for example made of a single-layer film.
- the sleeve 1 is made of a multilayer heat-shrinkable material.
- the sleeve 1 is for example based on polyester (like PET).
- the sleeve 1 is here stretched to give it a single preferred direction of retraction.
- the sleeve 1 is for example transparent, that is to say it allows objects to be clearly viewed through it.
- Sleeve 1 is here transparent over its entire surface.
- the sleeve 1 is equipped on its internal face (that is to say the face intended to come into contact with the container to be covered) with a safety strip 2.
- the safety strip 2 extends here substantially over the entire circumference of the sleeve 1. When the sleeve is placed on a container 3, such as a bottle, the safety strip 2 thus extends substantially horizontally.
- the sleeve 1 is thus in place on the container 3 by heat shrinkage. Sleeve 1 is therefore not self-adhesive.
- the sleeve 1 is made of a heat-shrinkable material allowing control of the clamping force exerted by the sleeve 1 on the container 3. This makes it possible to optimize the adhesion of the sleeve 1 to the container 3 and thus to increase its resistance to removal and increase the safety of the container 3.
- the safety band 2 then surrounds the container 3 under a ring 4 of the container 3 and in the immediate vicinity of said ring 4 once the safety envelope has been retracted on the container 3. More precisely, the band safety band 2 is arranged at the junction between the ring 4 and the neck 5 of the container 3. The safety band 2 is arranged immediately below the clip 6. In this way, the safety band 2 forms a tightening collar of the container 3 once the safety envelope has been retracted over container 3.
- the safety band 2 exerts a tightening force but the sleeve 1 also by its retraction on the container 3.
- the clamping force exerted on the container 3 at the level of the safety band 2 is defined by the safety band itself (dimensions, shape, material, etc. of the safety band 2) but also by the sleeve 1 (dimensions, shape, material, etc. of the sleeve 1) which surrounds the safety band 2. In this way, it is possible to play both on the safety band 2 and on the sleeve 1 to define the tightening at the level of the safety band 2 on the container 3.
- the safety strip 2 is here cut from a flat material then attached and secured to the internal face of the sleeve 1 for example by gluing.
- the safety strip 2 is cut from a multilayer flat material, including an adhesive layer directly allowing its bonding against the sleeve 1.
- Safety strip 2 is made of plastic.
- the safety strip 2 is for example based on a thermoplastic polymer.
- the safety strip 2 is based on polyester.
- the material of the security strip 2 is made of heat-shrinkable material. This facilitates the retraction of the safety envelope on the container 3.
- the security strip 2 is shaped so as to have the same heat shrinkage characteristics as the sleeve 1.
- This homogeneity between the safety strip 2 and the sleeve 1 allows the envelope to retract even on containers of very complex shapes, for example with containers whose diameter difference between a body and a neck can reach up to 80%. .
- the security strip 2 is thus made of a heat-shrinkable material allowing control of the clamping force exerted by the security strip 2 on the container 3. This makes it possible to optimize the adhesion of the security strip to the container 3 and thus to increase its resistance to tearing and increase the safety of the container 3.
- the material of the security strip 2 is not a heat-shrinkable material. This makes it easier to write additional safety signs directly on safety strip 2 (as we will see later).
- the part of the sleeve 1 covering the safety strip 2 will be less subject to retraction than the rest of the sleeve 1, which will also facilitate the possible inscription of safety signs on this part of the sleeve 1.
- the inscription of safety signs on the safety strip 2 and/or the sleeve 1 when the security strip 2 is made of heat-shrinkable material is of course also possible.
- the security strip 2 is here transparent, that is to say it allows to clearly visualize objects through it.
- Safety strip 2 is here transparent over its entire surface.
- Safety band 2 typically includes several weakening zones.
- the weakened zones are formed by cutouts 7 (shown here in dotted lines and only part of which is referenced) made in the safety strip 2 and only in the security strip 2.
- cutouts 7 n do not reach the associated sleeve 1 which is therefore not weakened by these cutouts 7.
- the cutouts 7 are provided at different locations on the security strip 2.
- the cutouts 7 are shaped so as to each pass through the security strip 2 over its entire height.
- the cutouts 7 are for example made by microperforation.
- the safety strip 2 is shaped like a crown, that is to say that the clamping collar which it forms when the sleeve 1 is retracted onto the container 3 is not a simple ring.
- the safety strip 2 is here shaped into a sinusoid over the entire circumference of the sleeve 1.
- the safety strip 2 thus presents undulations which are regular here.
- the safety strip 2 therefore forms waves over the entire circumference of the sleeve 1.
- the security strip 2 is arranged on the sleeve 1 so that when the sleeve 1 is retracted on the container 3, the upper portions of the crown formed by the security strip 2 are in contact with the carnette 6 of the ring 4.
- the sleeve 1 has two cutting lines 8, 9 (shown here in dotted lines). These cutting lines 8, 9 are produced for example by microperforation.
- Said cutting lines 8, 9 are here created so as to extend parallel to each other and along a generatrix of the sleeve 1. When the sleeve 1 is placed on the container 3, the cutting lines 8 , 9 therefore extend substantially vertically. The lines cutting edge 8, 9 therefore have a section extending above the safety strip 2.
- the cutting lines 8, 9 extend close to each other so as to define between them a removable portion 10 which is removed when the sleeve 1 is cut along the cutting lines 8, 9.
- the security strip 2 is coated on its face in contact with the container 3 with a heat-reactivatable glue, also called heat-sensitive glue, so that when the sleeve 1 is heat-shrinked on the container 3, the security strip 2 becomes sticks to the wall of the container favoring greater subsequent stress on the safety strip 2 and in particular on its weakened zones when handling the container 3.
- the glue covers totally or partially the face of the safety strip 2 depending on the targeted applications. For example, the glue covers only part of the weakened zones of the security strip 2, leading to heterogeneity on the security strip 2, facilitating the detection of fraudulent manipulation of the container 3.
- the envelope is then slipped onto the container 3, here closed by a cap 11, then heated to cause heat shrinkage of the envelope (i.e. of the sleeve and here of the strip 2) on the neck 5 and the ring 4, covering at minus one edge of the plug 11. In this way, the envelope seals the plug 11 on the ring 4.
- the security strip 2 is well arranged directly under the ring 4 so that the upper portions of the security strip 2 touch the ring 6.
- the security strip 2 thus arranged therefore turns out to be very sensitive to the forces exerted on the ring 6 and/or the neck 5.
- Security strip 2 therefore proves to be very effective in combating fraudulent manipulation of containers.
- the envelope is identical to that of the first embodiment with the difference that the cutting lines 108, 109 of the sleeve 101 are arranged so as to extend substantially over the entire circumference of the sleeve 101 and no longer along a generatrix of the sleeve 101.
- the cutting lines 108, 109 are here arranged so that one of the lines 108 lies on a part of the sleeve 101 not covering the security strip 102 and being located under the part of the sleeve 101 covering the security strip 102 and that the other of the lines 109 lies on the part of the sleeve 101 covering the safety strip 102.
- the removable portion 110 defined by the two cutting lines 108, 109 straddles the part of the sleeve 101 covering the security strip 102.
- the cutting lines 108, 109 are arranged so that the removable portion 110 is entirely arranged on the part of the sleeve 101 covering the safety strip 102.
- the envelope is identical to that of the first embodiment with the difference that the security strip 202 also includes additional security signs 212 (only part of which is referenced here).
- the sleeve 201 itself also includes additional safety signs 213.
- the security signs 212, 213 of the sleeve 201 and the security strip 202 may include for example a digital code, a bar code, a QR type code (two-dimensional bar code), a number, a holographic element , a logo, an embossed element...
- the security signs 212, 213 can be in specific inks, have a three-dimensional effect, a color effect or even metallization, etc.
- the security signs 212 carried by the security strip 202 are destroyed or at least damaged due to the separation of the security strip 202 into several elements . It therefore proves extremely difficult to recompose the security signs 212 when attempting to refit the security strip 202 on the sleeve 201, which further reinforces the security of the security envelope.
- the security signs inscribed on the sleeve 201 and/or the security strip 202 include data which is specific to the container which the security envelope is intended to cover.
- at least one of the security signs is established from a unique identification code which is specific to the container to be covered. The security sign thus varies from one container to another, which reinforces the security of the envelope.
- the different security signs 212, 213 are reported by any means on their respective supports. They can for example be printed on the security strip 202 or the sleeve 201.
- the safety signs 212, 213 include transferable impressions on the wall of the container. These signs are for example printed on the internal face of the sleeve 201 and/or the safety strip 202 and their contours are microperforated.
- the surface of the prints is preferably coated with heat-reactivatable glue, also called heat-sensitive glue, so that when the sleeve 201 is heat shrunk, the part of the sleeve 201 or the security strip 202 which carries the prints sticks to the wall of the container.
- the surface of the transferable prints can, however, be coated with any type of adhesive material allowing the prints to adhere to the wall of the container.
- the adhesive material can thus also be a cold glue.
- the prints remain in place on the wall of the container and mark the container itself: the security sign thus remained invisible from the outside until the sleeve broke.
- the safety strip can be shaped differently than in a sinusoid as in the first embodiment.
- the safety strip can thus comprise a succession of geometric elements linked together by linear parts.
- the safety strip 302a is shaped so as to be formed by diamonds 314 interconnected by flat parts 315.
- the security strip 302c can also form a zigzag as proposed in the figure 7c .
- the security band 302b does not form a crown but a simple ring as proposed in the figure 7b .
- the sleeve 401 is shaped like a capsule.
- the capsule typically has the shape of a truncated cone with a closed upper base 416 intended to completely cover the upper end of the container 403 and a skirt 417 extending from this upper base 416 and intended to surround the ring 404 and part of the neck 405.
- the capsule is cylindrical.
- the envelope is then slipped onto the container 403, here closed by a cap 411, then heated to cause heat shrinkage of the sleeve 401 on the neck 405 and the ring 404 of the container 403, covering the entire cap 411. In this way, the The envelope seals the plug 411 on the ring 404.
- the safety band 402 always surrounds the container 403 immediately under the ring 404 of the container 403 so as to create a clamping collar of the container 403 at the level of the carnette 406.
- the sleeve 501 comprises at the level of the upper part of its skirt 516 a chute 518.
- This chute 518 extends here substantially over the entire circumference of the skirt 516. There is therefore by this circumferential chute 518, a tightening of the skirt 516 at this level.
- the dimensions of chute 518 have been deliberately enlarged here.
- the envelope further comprises a protective washer 519 which is arranged inside the sleeve 501 between the chute 518 and an internal face of the upper base 516.
- the washer 519 thus rests on the chute 518 which allows that the washer 519 remains in place in the envelope when handling the envelope.
- the washer 519 is linked to the casing by being arranged in this manner.
- the washer 519 is also fixed to the envelope, for example by gluing.
- the washer 519 is of dimensions and in a material adapted to limit a risk of piercing by an external object such as a syringe.
- the washer 519 is for example a plate made of metallic material.
- the washer 519 thus extends through the sleeve 501 and inside the sleeve.
- the washer 519 here obstructs the upper part of the sleeve 501.
- the washer 519 is here cylindrical and has a diameter substantially equal to that of the upper base 516.
- the envelope is then heated to cause heat shrinkage of the sleeve 501 on the neck and the ring, covering the entire cap.
- the envelope seals the cap on the ring and at the same time seals the washer 519 to the cap and to the ring.
- the washer 519 prevents any break-in through the envelope to access the contents of the container, such as for example the introduction of a syringe through the cap.
- the washer 519 in fact forms an access shield to the cap.
- the sleeve In the same way to define the sleeve we can thus play on the material of the sleeve, on its shape and its dimensions (in particular its thickness), its retraction force, its type of adhesion to the container, its customization and the relative position between the safety strip and the rest of the sleeve.
- the sleeve is made of heat-shrinkable material
- the sleeve could be made of another material and be attached to the container by for example by crimping.
- the sleeve could thus be an overcorking capsule like that used for wine bottles.
- the safety strip will then form a container clamping zone once the sleeve is in place on the container (for example by crimping or stamping).
- the security strip may be made of heat-shrinkable material or of non-heat-shrinkable material.
- the sleeve is transparent, the sleeve could be opaque.
- the sleeve can thus be opaque throughout or covered with a layer of opaque agent.
- the sleeve may be transparent in certain areas and opaque in others.
- the security strip may be opaque.
- the security strip may be opaque throughout or be covered with an opaque agent.
- the security strip may be transparent in certain areas and opaque in others.
- the cutting lines here define a removable portion which is separable from the rest of the sleeve, it is possible not to organize a separable portion. We can then simply provide one or more cutting lines passing over the safety strip, in order to promote the change of state of the safety strip in the event of action on the sleeve. It is also possible not to provide cutting lines on the sleeve, the simple manipulation of the sleeve to attempt to open the container then being sufficient to cause the change of state of the safety strip.
- the cutting lines and/or the cutting portion may be arranged on part of the sleeve so as to cover the safety strip outside a zone of weakening of said strip or precisely at a weakening zone of said strip. Furthermore, the cutting lines and/or the cutting portion may be arranged on a part of the sleeve so as to cover the safety strip at the level of a security sign on said strip. Furthermore, the cutting portion can be arranged on part of the sleeve so as to cover all the safety signs of the safety strip.
- the areas of weakness of the safety band may be different from what has been described.
- the weakened zones may not include a cutout but a particular composition of the rest of the security strip so that the weakened zones change color in relation to the rest of the security strip in the event of action on the sleeve.
- the safety strip may only extend over only part of the circumference of the sleeve.
- the safety strip can thus be in several parts separated from each other and distributed around the entire circumference of the sleeve.
- the safety strip may be in two parts, the two parts extending symmetrically with respect to each other on the circumference of the sleeve.
- the envelope may not include a protective washer.
- the envelope may include a chute even if it is cylindrical or truncated cone shaped or any other shape.
- the envelope may include a protective washer combined with a tubular sleeve, the washer being for example glued at its periphery to the internal face of the sleeve so as not to move when handling the sleeve. There washer will then extend transversely to the sleeve and inside the sleeve.
