Claims (10)

  1. Motor vehicle latch (1) comprising a locking mechanism with a catch (2) and at least one pawl (3), a triggering lever (4), wherein by means of the triggering lever (4) the pawl (3) is disengaged from the catch (2), a buffer lever function, wherein by means of the buffer lever function the actuated triggering lever (4) is fixable in an actuated position in order to disengage from the catch (2), characterized in that the triggering lever (4) when closing the locking mechanism can be guided only partially by the catch (2).
  2. Motor vehicle latch (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the pawl (3) and the triggering lever (4) lie adjacent in an opening position of the motor vehicle latch (1) on the catch (2).
  3. Motor vehicle latch (1) according to one of the claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the locking mechanism has a pre-ratchet (14) and a main ratchet (21) position and the pawl (3) and the triggering lever (4) can be conducted from the opening position to a pre-ratchet position by the catch (2) by means of the catch (2).
  4. Motor vehicle latch (1) according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the pawl (3) can be conducted into a main ratchet position (21) by means of the catch (2) and the triggering lever (4) can be maintained in a position assumed during the pre-ratchet position (14).
  5. Motor vehicle latch (1) according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the pawl (3) has an extension (16), whereby at least one switching means (6, 7) can be switched by means of the extension (16).
  6. Motor vehicle latch (1) according to one of the claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the triggering lever (4) has a tappet contour (22) and the pawl (3) can be moved and in particular deflected by means of the tappet contour (22).
  7. Motor vehicle latch (1) according to one of the claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the pawl (3) and the triggering lever (4) have a common pivoting axis (13).
  8. Motor vehicle latch (1) according to one of the claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the triggering lever (4) can be deflected by means of an electrical drive (5), in particular by means of an electrically activated control contour (10).
  9. Motor vehicle latch (1) according to one of the claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the pawl (3) at least partly consists of metal and at least partly of plastic.
  10. Motor vehicle latch (1) according to one of the claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the triggering lever (4) is made of plastic.
