Claims (9)

  1. Motor vehicle door lock (1) with a locking mechanism (2, 3, 4) encompassing a catch (2) and at least one pawl (3) for ratcheting of the catch (2) and with a blocking lever (4) to block the pawl (3) in the ratcheted position, wherein effective blockage of the pawl (3) is controlled by the blocking lever (4) dependent on the locking position of the catch (2) during the control device is formed in such a way that effective blockage of the pawl (3) is controlled in such a way by the blocking lever (4) by means of a catch (2) during the closure movement that blockage of the pawl (3) is delayed until the catch (2) has reached at least the main ratchet position (2a).
  2. Motor vehicle door lock (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the control device is formed in such a way that effective blockage of the pawl (3) is delayed by the blocking lever (4) via the catch (2) until the catch (2) has reached an overstroke position in the closure movement.
  3. Motor vehicle door lock (1) according to one of the previous claims, characterized in that effective blockage of the pawl (3) during the closure movement is controlled by means of the blocking lever (4) via the catch (2) via a mechanical connection (5) between the catch (2) and the blocking lever (4).
  4. Motor vehicle door lock (1) according to claim 3, characterized in that the mechanical connection (5) between the catch (2) and the blocking lever (4) is established by means of a control lever (5) in operative connection with the catch (2) and the blocking lever (4).
  5. Motor vehicle door lock (1) according to claim 4, characterized in that the control lever (5) is arranged in the lock housing (20) as a separately accommodated pivot lever (5) between the catch (2) and the blocking lever (4).
  6. Motor vehicle door lock (1) according to claim 5, characterized in that the pivot lever (5) is executed as a two-armed lever (5a, 5b) and/or with a lever arm (5a) corresponding to a catch cam (6) and/or with a lever arm (5b) which engages with a blocking lever (4) in a preferably form-fitting manner.
  7. Motor vehicle door lock (1) according to one of the claims 1 - 2, characterized in that effective blockage of the pawl (3) during the closure movement is established by means of the blocking lever (4) via the catch (2) via an electrical connection with a sensor, a release element for the blocking lever (4) and a release switch.
  8. Motor vehicle door lock (1) according to claim 7, characterized in that the electrical connection is established with a position sensor for the catch (2), a release element on the blocking lever (4) and a release switch on the release element acted on by the position sensor.
  9. Motor vehicle door lock (1) according to one of the previous claims, characterized in that the locking mechanism (2, 3, 4) comprising the catch (2), at least a pawl (3) and a blocking lever (4) is arranged in a lock housing (20).
