Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de production d'impulsions (1) pour générer des impulsions pour un système de pulvérisation cathodique à magnétron, telle que la pulvérisation cathodique à magnétron à impulsions à haute puissance (HiPIMS), le dispositif de génération d'impulsions (1) comportant une entrée d'alimentation (3a, 3b, 3c) et comprend en outre une première unité de commutation (4) générant les impulsions, la première unité de commutation (4) comprenant au moins deux transistors à effet de champ à métal-isolation-semi-conducteur (MISFET) (51, 5n) connectés en parallèle, l'entrée d'alimentation (3a, 3b, 3c) étant divisée en au moins deux canaux de courant, chaque canal de courant comprenant l'un respectif des transistors (5i, 5n), et un dispositif d'excitation (6-1, 6n) assigné à chaque transistor (51, 5n). Le dispositif de génération d'impulsions comprend en outre une unité de commande (7) qui est agencée pour commander chaque transistor (51, 5n) individuellement et pour synchroniser l'activation et la désactivation des transistors (51, 5n) par l'intermédiaire des dispositifs d'excitation (61, 6n) de sorte que le courant provenant des au moins deux canaux de courant conduise aux impulsions.
