Claims (8)

  1. Machine à tronçonner (10) pour couper des tronçons (13) de matériau en bande, comprenant au moins une lame de coupe (11) placée sur un plan perpendiculaire à l'axe des tronçons (13) afin de réaliser des coupes transversales sur ces mêmes et produire des rouleaux (15) de plus petite longueur que les tronçons, caractérisée en ce que ladite au moins une lame de coupe (11) est une lame rotative à laquelle est associée une sonotrode (23) d'un dispositif à ultrasons apte à générer une force de vibration sur la lame.
  2. Machine à tronçonner selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle ladite lame rotative (11) est un disque porté par un bras en révolution, et ladite sonotrode (23) est placée sur l'axe (X) de la lame en disque (11).
  3. Machine à tronçonner selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle ladite lame rotative (11) est un disque porté par un bras en révolution (12), et ladite sonotrode (23) est placée à proximité du bord de ladite lame en disque (13).
  4. Machine à tronçonner selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle ladite lame rotative (11) est constituée par des lames plates rectilignes (11) diamétralement opposées, portées par un support rotatif (12), et ladite sonotrode (23) est placée de manière correspondante à la base de la lame correspondante.
  5. Machine à tronçonner selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que ledit dispositif à ultrasons comprend un générateur d'ultrasons (20) relié au moyen d'un câble (21) à un convertisseur d'ultrasons (22) et à ladite sonotrode (23) placée sur la lame (11).
  6. Procédé pour couper des tronçons (13) de matériau en bande au moyen d'une machine à tronçonner ayant au moins une lame de coupe (11) placée sur un plan perpendiculaire à l'axe des tronçons, consistant à amener ladite au moins une lame en contact avec lesdits tronçons, ou vice versa lesdits tronçons en contact avec ladite au moins une lame, pour effectuer des coupes transversales sur les tronçons et produire des rouleaux (15) de plus petite longueur que les tronçons, caractérisé en ce que ladite au moins une lame de coupe (11) est une lame rotative et que des ultrasons sont appliqués sur celle-ci pendant l'opération de coupe.
  7. Procédé selon la revendication 6, dans lequel ladite lame rotative (11) est un disque porté par un bras en révolution (12) et lesdits ultrasons sont appliqués sur l'axe (X) du disque ou à proximité de son bord.
  8. Procédé selon la revendication 6, dans lequel ladite au moins une lame de coupe rotative (11) est constituée par des lames plates rectilignes diamétralement opposées et lesdits ultrasons sont appliqués à la base de la lame respective.
