Dadurch kann beispielsweise die isotrope Fluoreszenzstrahlung des lumineszierenden Rasterdruckbilds, die nämlich besonders anfällig gegenüber beugungsbedingten Verzerrungen ist, den Durchsichtbereich im Reflexionshologramm nahezu unbeeinträchtigt passieren, wodurch mit einer Unschärfe in der Abbildung des visuellen Effekts des zweiten Sicherheitselements nicht zu rechnen ist. Zudem kann damit eine visuelle Vermischung der beiden Sicherheitselemente vermieden werden, was einer unbeeinträchtigten visuellen Unterscheidbarkeit der beiden Sicherheitsmerkmale förderlich sein kann.

Es ist zudem vorstellbar, dass die Klebstoffschicht auf einer zusätzlichen transparenten Decklackschicht aufgebracht ist.
