Dies erfolgt nun durch eine spezielle Ausgestaltung der Siegeleinrichtungen bzw. Siegeleinheit 45, 60, 74, 86 und dient der Reaktivierung des Leims 80, der durch die Leimauftragsstation 9 aufgetragen wurde. Die Siegeleinrichtungen bzw. Siegeleinheit 45, 60, 74, 86 weisen eine im Vergleich zu konventionellen Siegelstationen für Folien niedrigere Temperatur auf, die beispielsweise im Temperaturbereich zwischen 100 °C und 200 °C liegt. Außerdem zeichnen sich die Siegeleinrichtungen bzw. Siegeleinheit 45, 60, 74, 86 durch längere Siegelzeiten aus. Diese bewegen sich beispielsweise in dem Bereich zwischen 150 und 400 ms, besonders bevorzugt 200 ms. Oftmals erfolgt auch ein zweimaliges Siegeln bzw. Reaktivieren, eventuell noch häufiger, insbesondere bei der Erstellung des Bodenverschlusses 3 oder des Kopfverschlusses, welche sich durch eine größere Anzahl von zu siegelnden bzw. zu verbindenden Lagen auszeichnet. Außerdem kommt ein spezielles Siegelprofil zum Einsatz. Bevorzugt handelt es sich hierbei um ineinandergreifende Stege, vorzugsweise um Stege mit speziellen Winkeln sowie mit einer kleineren ebenen Fläche.
