Description

The invention relates to a building lock with an insulation block for the insulating arrangement of the building lock, in particular a window, on a building, the insulation block being fastened on the outside to a frame of the building lock and, seen in section, an inside fastened to the frame, an outside facing away from the frame and has an upper side connecting the inner side and the outer side and a lower side connecting the inner side and the outer side on the side facing away from the upper side, the lower side being on the side of the insulating block facing the building and the upper side being on the side of the insulating block facing away from the building, wherein the insulation block has a first partial area and a second partial area which, in a delivery state of the building lock, are detachably connected to one another via a connecting web running parallel to the frame and designed as a predetermined tear-off element, parallel l at least one parting line separating the first partial region and the second partial region from the connecting web is formed. The invention further relates to a method for mounting a building lock on a building.

In principle, the building lock can be designed in any way. For example, it is in the form of a window, in particular a facade window or a roof window. The building lock preferably has the frame and the wing as essential components. Of course, several frames and / or several wings can also be provided. In the case of the window, the sash can also be referred to as a sash frame and the frame as a frame. The wing usually has glazing, which is present, for example, as single glazing or as multiple glazing, in particular double glazing or triple glazing.

The glazing is bordered, for example, by spars of the wing, two vertical spars and two horizontal spars being provided in particular. The frame also preferably has two vertical bars and two horizontal bars. Two of the spars are connected to each other, in particular each of the vertical spars is connected to each of the horizontal spars. The frame is, for example, for fixed attachment to the building, in particular provided on or in a roof of the building, or for fastening in a recess of the building or the roof. The sash is movably mounted on the frame and can be shifted to the extent that it can be shifted from a closed position to an open position and vice versa.

In order to arrange the building lock on the building in an insulating, in particular heat-insulating manner, the insulating block is provided. This is designed for external fastening to the frame of the building lock, in particular the window frame. For example, in the case of a thermally insulated building lock, the insulation block is already preassembled or fastened to the frame in the delivery state of the building lock. However, it can also be retrofitted or mounted on the frame. After the building lock has been installed on the building, the insulation block is preferably present between the frame of the building lock on the one hand and building-side elements on the other hand. In the case of the roof window, the latter can be understood to mean, for example, a roof structure and / or a roof skin.

The insulation block has the inside and the outside as well as the top and the bottom, which limit an outer circumference of the insulation block as seen in section. In the case of the roof window, the terms “underside” and “top side” preferably actually describe an orientation of the insulation block, so that the top side is above and the underside is below or the top side is above the underside. In general, however, the top is understood only to mean the side of the insulation block facing away from the building after the building lock has been installed, and the bottom facing the side facing it.

It is often necessary to adapt the building lock to the circumstances of the building on or in which it is to be installed during the assembly of the building lock. For example, it may be necessary to adapt the insulation block. This must usually be carried out very carefully because incorrect adaptation of the insulation block results in the entire insulation block being replaced. In this case, the existing insulation block must first be released from the building lock or frame and then a new insulation block must be attached to it.

For example, is from the publication EP 2 466 032 A1 An insulation part for use between a window and a load-bearing structure is known, comprising: a first insulation element, which is made of a dimensionally stable insulation material, a second insulation element, the is made of a compressible insulation material, and fastening means for fastening the insulation part to the window or to the load-bearing structure. The first and second insulation elements are connected to one another such that, in use, the orientation of the insulation elements is such that the first insulation element is on top of the second insulation element, the side of the first insulation element facing away from the second insulation element being an upper side of the insulation part defined and the side of the second insulation element, which faces away from the first insulation element, defines an underside of the insulation part. A height direction is also defined as a direction that extends from the bottom to the top. In addition, the fastening means should be attached to the first insulation element.

It is the object of the invention to propose a building lock which has advantages over known building locks, in particular a simple and quick assembly.

This is achieved according to the invention with a building lock with the features of claim 1. It is provided that the parting line - again seen in section - extends from the connecting web towards the outside of the insulation block and is angled towards the bottom.

The insulation block consists of several sections, namely at least the first section and the second section. Of course, however, further sub-areas, in particular in any number, can also be provided. In the delivery state of the building lock, the two partial areas are connected to one another via the connecting web. In this case, the connecting web is preferably both of the same material and / or of one piece both with the first partial area on the one hand and with the second partial area on the other hand.

The connecting web extends in the longitudinal direction of the insulation block, ie in the direction of the greatest extent of the insulation block. This direction is normally parallel to the frame, which can be selected as a reference element, for example. In the context of this description, a reference system is used with regard to the insulation block, in which there is a longitudinal direction in the direction of the greatest extent of the insulation block and a lateral direction and a vertical direction are perpendicular to one another and perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The lateral direction is usually in the direction of the smallest dimensions of the insulation block and extends, for example, in the direction of the frame or through it. In contrast, the insulation block usually faces in the vertical direction Dimensions that lie between the dimensions in the longitudinal direction and the dimensions in the lateral direction. The vertical direction runs, for example, parallel to the frame at a distance. The dimensions, for example of the insulation block, in the longitudinal direction are referred to as length, the dimensions in the lateral direction as width and the dimensions in the vertical direction as height.

The connecting web preferably extends in the longitudinal direction over the entire length of the insulation block. In contrast, it has a width that is less than the width of the insulation block. For example, the width of the connecting web based on the width of the insulation block is at most 5%, at most 10%, at most 15%, at most 20% or at most 25%. The connecting web has dimensions which bring about a strength such that the two partial areas are initially reliably held together.

The connection between the partial areas can, however, be released by mechanical influence on the insulation block, in particular the second partial area can be torn off from the first partial area, the connecting web serving as a predetermined tear-off element. When the second section is torn off from the first section, the connecting web is torn off over at least part of its length, preferably over its entire length. In this respect, the two partial areas are detachably connected to one another via the connecting web. With such a configuration, a simple and tool-free adaptation of the insulation block is made possible.

The parting line between the two sub-areas is adjacent to the connecting web. In particular, the connecting web is made by forming the parting line. In other words, the connecting web limits the parting line, namely in particular in the direction of the frame or the inside of the insulation block. The parting line extends from the connecting web towards the outside of the insulation block. Because when separating the two sub-areas from each other and tearing off the connecting web, remnants of the connecting web can remain on the first sub-area, the separating joint should be designed in such a way that the insulation block or the first sub-area provides a screen for the remains of the remaining on the first sub-area Forms connecting web.

This is achieved by angling the parting line, namely towards the bottom. This means that the parting line on the one hand, in the direction of the Outside and on the other hand runs towards the bottom. For example, the parting line includes an angle of at least 5 °, at least 10 °, at least 15 °, at least 20 °, at least 25 °, at least 30 °, at least 35 °, at least 40 ° or at least 45 ° with the lateral direction. In this respect, the first section has an overhang on the outside in the direction of the building, which provides a privacy screen for the connecting bridge.

Die beiden Schnittflächen liegen in dem Auslieferungszustand vorzugsweise zumindest bereichsweise, insbesondere vollflächig, aneinander an.The parting line is realized, for example, by cutting, in particular cutting open, the insulation block. The parting line separates the two sections. However, this does not mean that the two partial areas are spaced apart from one another by the parting line, although this can of course be the case. Rather, in the delivery state of the building lock or the insulation block, they preferably abut one another. In this respect, when the parting line is formed, a first cut surface is formed on the first partial area and a second cut surface on the second partial area. In the delivery state, the two cut surfaces preferably lie against one another at least in regions, in particular over the entire surface.

In a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the first partial area and the second partial area are connected to one another in one piece and with the same material via the connecting web. This has already been pointed out above. The insulation block consists, for example, of an insulating, flexible material. The material can be a material selected from several materials or a mixture of several of these materials. In particular, plastics, for example polyethylene and thermoplastic elastomers, are used as materials. The material of the insulation block is preferably foamed in order to improve the insulation effect.

In a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that a fastening means for fastening the inside to the frame is arranged on the first partial area and / or the second partial area is designed free of fasteners. In other words, only the first partial area is attached to the frame of the building lock, while the second partial area is only held on the frame via the first partial area in the delivery state. For example, the second partial area lies loosely on the frame. An adhesive, preferably a hot melt adhesive, is used, for example, as the fastening means for fastening the first partial region.

A further development of the invention provides that on the side of the connecting web opposite the parting line there is a further parting line which runs parallel to the connecting part and separates the first partial area and the second partial area, the further parting line, seen in section, starting from the connecting part extends towards the inside of the insulation block. In addition to the parting line, the further parting line is therefore provided. This is preferably basically designed analogously to the parting line, that is to say runs parallel to the connecting web at least in the longitudinal direction and separates the two partial regions from one another. However, the parting line and the further parting line are formed on opposite sides of the connecting web. While the parting line extends from the connecting web in the direction of the outside of the insulation block, the further parting line should extend from the connecting web in the direction of the inside of the insulation block. For example, the parting line and the further parting line have the same dimensions in the lateral direction, so that overall the connecting web is present centrally or at least approximately centrally in the lateral direction on the insulation block.

A preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the parting line is angled relative to the further parting line. It has already been explained above that in order to form the privacy screen for the connecting web, the parting line should be angled in the direction of the underside. However, such a configuration is not necessary for the further parting line. Correspondingly, as seen in section, it can run exclusively in the lateral direction, ie lie in a plane spanned by the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction. Accordingly, the further parting line is angled relative to the parting line. Of course, it can also be provided that the further parting line runs in the direction of the upper side or is angled in this direction.

In the context of a preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that in the second partial area a protective receptacle is formed for an adhesive film that can be attached to the frame and that is used to attach a vapor barrier to the building lock. During the assembly of the building lock in or on the building, the adhesive film is used to create an adhesive connection to a vapor barrier to be provided on site. For this purpose, the adhesive film is, on the one hand, attached or attachable to the frame. On the other hand, it has an adhesive, for example an adhesive strip, by means of which it can be glued to the vapor barrier. With conventional building locks, the adhesive film can only be used during assembly attached to the building lock or the frame of the building lock.

Alternatively, it can be provided that the adhesive film is attached to and secured to the building lock already during the manufacture thereof. In the latter case, the adhesive connection to the vapor barrier can be made quickly and easily when the building lock is installed on or in the building. Up to now, however, complex measures have been necessary for securing, in particular for securing the transport. However, the insulation block according to this description offers a much simpler possibility for the safe storage of the adhesive film on the building lock. For this purpose, the protective receptacle for the adhesive film is formed on the second area. When manufacturing the building lock, the adhesive film and the insulation block are arranged or attached to the frame. The adhesive film is arranged in areas in the protective receptacle.

The protective receptacle is designed in such a way that the adhesive film cannot easily get out of here, in particular can only be removed manually from the protective receptacle, for example by a fitter of the building lock. The adhesive film can be removed from the protective receptacle if the second partial area remains on the first partial area when the building lock is being installed on the building, and also if the second partial area is separated from the first partial area by tearing off the connecting web. In any case, in addition to the insulation block, no additional security measures are required to store the adhesive film. For example, the protective receptacle is present on a side of the second partial area facing away from the first partial area, in particular on the underside of the insulating block.

Finally, it can be provided in the context of a particularly preferred further embodiment of the invention that the protective receptacle is delimited by a holding lug which runs at least in regions parallel to the connecting web and which has a free edge extending in the direction of the inside and is designed as a tear-off handle. The retaining lug extends in the longitudinal direction over at least part of the length of the insulation block, preferably over the entire length of the insulation block. It is arranged parallel to the connecting web, at least in some areas, in particular continuously parallel. The retaining lug has a free edge which protrudes in the direction of the frame, so that overall the protective receptacle is present in the insulation block as an opening which is open at the edge.

Bevorzugt beträgt der Abstand jedoch mindestens 10 %, mindestens 20 %, mindestens 25 %, mindestens 30 %, mindestens 40 % oder mindestens 50 %.The retaining lug is not only used to limit the protective absorption. Rather, it is additionally designed as a tear-off handle on which a fitter of the building lock can engage in order to separate the second partial area from the first partial area by tearing off the connecting web. In this respect, the retaining lug ensures easy handling of the insulation block. The holding lug does not extend in the lateral direction up to the frame, but rather is spaced from it. In relation to the width of the insulation block, the holding lug is, for example, at a distance from the frame of at most 20%, at most 25%, at most 30%, at most 40%, at most 50%, at most 60%, at most 70% or at most 75%. However, the distance is preferably at least 10%, at least 20%, at least 25%, at least 30%, at least 40% or at least 50%.

A further embodiment of the invention provides that an adhesive film which is used to fasten a vapor barrier to the building lock is attached to the frame, which in the delivery state of the building lock is at least partially seen between the frame and the insulation block in section and engages in a protective receptacle of the insulation block , This has already been pointed out above. The adhesive film can be held at least in regions between the frame and the insulation block. In particular, this is the case for an area of the adhesive film which is fastened to the frame, for example by adhesive bonding. This area of the adhesive film is followed by another area which, in the delivery state of the building lock, engages in the protective receptacle of the insulation block.

Finally, the invention relates to a method for mounting a building lock on a building, in particular a building lock according to the above statements, wherein the building lock has an insulation block for the insulating arrangement of the building lock on the building, which is attached to a frame of the building lock on the outside and in section seen an inner side fastened to the frame, an outer side facing away from the frame and an upper side connecting the inner side and the outer side and an underside connecting the inner side and the outer side on the side facing away from the upper side, the lower side on the side of the insulation block facing the building and the upper side is on the side of the insulation block facing away from the building, the insulation block having a first partial area and a second partial area, which in a delivery state of the building lock has a parallel lel to the frame extending, designed as a predetermined tear-off connecting web releasably connected are formed, parallel to the connecting web at least one separating the first partial area and the second partial area from each other.

It is provided that the parting line - again seen in section - extends from the connecting web in the direction of the outside of the insulation block and is angled in the direction of the underside, the second part of the building being separated from the building by tearing off the second part during assembly of the building lock is removed from the first section.

The building lock as well as the method for its assembly can be developed in accordance with the above statements. Accordingly, reference is again made to this.

The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing, without the invention being restricted. The only one shows
figure
is a schematic representation of an area of a building lock designed as a skylight, which has an insulation block for the insulating arrangement of the building lock on a building.

Die Oberseite 8 und die Unterseite 9 verbinden - im Schnitt gesehen - jeweils die Innenseite 6 mit der Außenseite 7.The figure shows a schematic sectional view through an area of a building lock 1, which is present in the exemplary embodiment shown here as a roof window, in particular as a roof window. The building lock 1 has a frame 2, of which a spar 3 is shown here. The frame 2 is, for example, a frame of the roof window. An insulation block 5 is arranged and fastened on an outside 4 of the frame. The insulation block 5 has an inner side 6 facing the frame 2, an outer side 7 facing away from the frame 2, an upper side 8 and a lower side 9. The top side 8 and the bottom side 9 connect - seen in section - the inside 6 with the outside 7.

The insulation block 5 has a first section 10 and a second section 11. In a delivery state of the building lock 1, the first partial area 10 is fastened to the frame 2, for example it is glued to it. In contrast, the second partial region 11 is preferably attached to the frame 2 exclusively via the first partial region 10. In particular, the second partial area 11 is designed to be free of fasteners. The second section 11 engages the first section 10 via a connecting web 12. Preferably the second section 11 is directly connected to the first section 10 exclusively via the connecting web 12. It is preferably provided that the connecting web 12 is designed both in one piece and with the same material as both the first partial area 10 and the second partial area 11. The connecting web 12 has a width in the lateral direction which is less than the width of the insulation block 5.

The connecting web 12 is designed as a predetermined tear-off element, which enables the partial regions 10 and 11 to be separated by tearing off the connecting web 12 or the predetermined tear-off element. The insulation block 5 is preferably made of plastic, in particular a foamed plastic. For example, polyethylene or the like is used as the plastic. To form the connecting web 12, the insulation block 5 is partially slotted to form a parting line 13 and a further parting line 14. The parting line 13 extends through the outside 7 of the insulation block 5, whereas the parting line 14 extends through the inside 6.

The parting line 13 is delimited on its side facing away from the outside 7 by the connecting web 12. The parting line 14 is also delimited by the connecting web 12, namely on its side facing away from the inside 6. The parting lines 13 and 14 preferably extend at least for the most part, in particular completely, in the longitudinal direction of the insulating block 5. The parting lines 13 and 14 are realized in such a way that the connecting web 12 runs essentially parallel to the frame 2 or the spar 3 of the frame 2. Seen in section, the connecting web 12 is present, for example, centrally in the insulation block 5.

It can be clearly seen that the further parting line 14, seen in section, lies in a horizontal plane which is spanned by the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction. This means in particular that the parting line 14 intersects the frame 2 or the spar 3 vertically. For example, the parting line 14 is arranged parallel to a glass plane of the building lock 1. The parting line 13, on the other hand, extends from the connecting web 12 in the direction of the outside 7 and is also angled in the direction of the bottom 9. From this it preferably follows that the parting lines 13 and 14 are angled with respect to one another as seen in section. Both the parting line 13 and the parting line 14 are preferably each defined by a plane or lie in this. In this respect, there is no curved course of the separating joints 13 and 14, although of course one can also be implemented.

The angled arrangement of the parting line 13 forms a screen 15, which, when the partial regions 10 and 11 are separated from one another on the first partial region 10, visually shields any remains of the connecting web 12 from an external environment. Despite the separation of the partial areas 10 and 11 by tearing off the connecting web 12, an excellent visual impression of the building lock 1 is ensured even after it has been installed. Thus, with the aid of the building lock 1 described here, both simple assembly and an excellent visual impression of the building lock 1 are achieved.

Furthermore, the insulation block 5 offers the possibility of securely storing an adhesive film 16 after it has been attached to the frame 2 until the building lock 1 has been installed on the building, without the need for special measures. For this purpose, the insulation block 5 has a protective receptacle 17 in which the adhesive film 16 is arranged at least in regions in the delivery state of the building lock 1. For example, a first film area 18 of the adhesive film 16 is fastened to the frame 2, in particular in a materially integral manner, for example by adhesive. In addition, the first film area 18 can be held in a clamping manner between the frame 2 and the insulation block 5, so that the insulation block 5 thus urges the first film area 18 in the direction of the frame 2 or holds it there.

A second film area 19 adjoins the first film area 18, which is arranged, for example, wound up in the protective receptacle 17. The protective receptacle 17 has such a shape that the adhesive film 16 is reliably held in the protective receptacle 17 after the production of the building lock 1, that is to say at least until the building lock 1 has been installed on the building. For example, the protective receptacle 17 is delimited here by a holding lug 20 which on the one hand presses the adhesive film 16 into the protective receptacle 17 or holds it and on the other hand is designed as a tear-off handle. The tear-off handle serves as a point of attack for a fitter of the building lock 1 for separating the partial areas 10 and 11 from one another by tearing off the connecting web 12. This ensures comfortable handling of the building lock 1 during its assembly.

Overall, a building lock 1 and an insulation block 5 are presented, which have numerous advantages over known building locks or known insulation blocks. Thus, owing to the separability of the partial areas 10 and 11 of the insulation block 5 from one another, they make it easy to adapt the building lock 1 to local conditions when mounting the building lock 1 on the building. Still will ensures that this does not result in any optical losses because the privacy screen 15 is achieved by the oblique arrangement of the parting line 13. Furthermore, the insulation block 5 presented enables advantageous temporary storage of the adhesive film 16, which is used to produce an adhesive connection of the building closure 1 to a vapor barrier of the building.
