Definitions

  • the invention relates to a storage container with a container housing which has at least one receptacle that is open with a compartment opening on a front side of the container housing and a drawer element arranged in the receptacle that can be pulled out and pushed in, the drawer element having a bottom wall and one extending around the edge around the bottom wall , has upwardly protruding outer wall and wherein a drawer interior is delimited by the bottom wall and the outer wall, in which at least one space dividing wall is arranged extending between two opposing outer wall sections.
  • the room divider wall has at least one support hook in the area of its lower end edge, which is in engagement with a recess in the bottom wall.
  • the recess is designed as an opening in the bottom wall, the support hook and / or the recess being designed in such a way that the underside of the support hook is arranged above or at the same level as the outside of the bottom wall so that the support hook does not protrude from the recess below.
  • a storage box is out of the U.S. 5,603,559 known.
  • room divider walls are provided in a drawer element, with which a drawer interior is divided into different sections.
  • the room divider walls are inserted into so-called guides or channels that are located at the front and rear outer wall sections as well as on the bottom wall of the drawer element.
  • the DE 89 13 832 U1 describes a device for the detachable fastening of organizational elements made of plastic in drawers, with locking means engaging in the floor.
  • the latching means are formed by a pair of hook-shaped lugs formed in one piece on the organizational element on a support surface
  • the WO 2008/042899 A2 describes a configurable organizer with detachably securable dividers for defining areas within the organizer for holding objects.
  • the DE 22 54 968 A1 describes a drawer with at least one replaceable longitudinal partition, which is held between projections on the inner sides of the front wall and the rear wall of the box and is inserted into a series of recesses in the drawer bottom with cams arranged at the foot of the longitudinal partition.
  • the US 2012/0187807 A1 describes a drawer structure with a removable container and a receiving tray.
  • the container has a housing with a hook protruding downwards.
  • the object of the present invention is to improve the aforementioned storage container in such a way that the partitioning functionality of the room divider wall is ensured and at the same time easy pulling out or pushing in of the drawer is ensured.
  • a locking edge is provided, which is engaged from below by the support hook, the locking edge being associated with a local elevation arrangement that rises above the inside of the bottom wall.
  • the elevation arrangement is subdivided into two elevations, between which a groove-like depression is provided, which in particular serves to accommodate the end edge of the room divider wall.
  • the elevations are designed in the form of ramps and are arranged in such a way that they become higher in the transverse direction towards the groove-like depression.
  • the latching edge preferably forms a graduation provided at least partially in the recess.
  • the provision of the local elevation arrangement is a particularly suitable option for achieving an arrangement in which the support hook does not protrude from the bottom wall.
  • the latching edge can namely be formed in such a way that it is higher than usual, and in particular higher than the rest of the inside of the bottom wall. With this measure, the hook projection or the locking element of the support hook then does not necessarily have to be made thinner than the bottom wall in order not to protrude from the recess below.
  • the support hook or the recess is designed in such a way that the support hook does not protrude from the recess at the bottom ensures that the support hook cannot get stuck on a part or object under the drawer element when the drawer element is pushed in or pulled out. Furthermore, a construction that is compact in the vertical direction is thereby achieved, which allows less space to be provided below the drawer element.
  • the configuration described is also particularly advantageous when the drawer element does not have any lateral guide elements such as guide rails, but instead simply rests with its bottom wall on a sliding surface of the container housing. A support hook protruding from the bottom wall would impair the sliding behavior of the drawer element here.
  • the combination of support hooks and recess in the bottom wall is also referred to below as a fastening unit.
  • the fastening unit is preferably at a distance from the outer wall and, in particular, is arranged in a central region of the interior of the drawer.
  • the stabilization of the bottom wall achieved by the fastening unit acts precisely where the bottom wall would otherwise sag the most under load.
  • two or more fastening units are provided per room divider wall, which are arranged distributed along the room divider wall at points in the interior of the drawer.
  • the lower terminating edge is supported on the bottom wall.
  • the lower end edge of the room divider wall is thus supported on the floor wall or rests on it. This is preferably done in an elongated area along the partition wall and in particular in an area close to the outer wall.
  • the support hook is in engagement with the recess in the bottom wall.
  • the partition wall and the bottom wall are thus in force-transmitting contact with one another at at least two points, so that these two elements must assume the same shape or deformation at least in sections in the vertical direction. Due to the upright orientation of the room divider wall and the associated rigidity or the large area moment of inertia in the vertical direction, the bottom wall must follow the shape of the room divider wall, and thus retains the shape given by the room divider wall at least in sections, even under weight load.
  • the support hook is locked into the recess so that it pulls the bottom wall upwards and braces the lower end edge of the room divider wall with the bottom wall of the drawer element.
  • the locking of the support hook ensures that the room divider wall is firmly attached to the floor wall and does not come loose again by itself. Furthermore, by engaging the support hook, tension is achieved between the bottom wall and the room divider wall, i.e. the bottom wall and / or the room divider wall is slightly elastically compressed by the engaging, so that the two elements are in contact with one another under a certain pressure.
  • This measure can in particular ensure that the terminating edge and the bottom wall are in an elongated direction the room divider wall are in contact over a larger area, and remain in contact over this area even when the floor wall is weighted.
  • the terminating edge preferably rests on the base wall over a large part, in particular at least half, of the length of the partition wall. In this way, a particularly high rigidity of the bottom wall is achieved.
  • a hook projection projecting perpendicularly away from the partition wall is provided at the bottom of the support hook and engages in the recess.
  • the hook projection acts as a latching element that engages in the recess and in particular under the latching edge described above.
  • the hook projection is wedge-shaped, with a wedge tip pointing downwards or the hook projection tapering downwards.
  • a projection edge designed as a flat surface is provided at the top of the hook projection and is aligned parallel to the bottom wall.
  • the hook projection has a projection edge on its upper side, which rests on a downwardly facing locking edge of the recess, a ratio between a first vertical distance between the projection edge and the lower end edge in a state in which the support hook is not in engagement with the recess, and a second vertical distance between the latching edge and the inside of the bottom wall is selected such that when the support hook engages the partition wall is pressed onto the bottom wall.
  • the described ratio between the first vertical distance and the second vertical distance is preferably selected such that the first vertical distance is slightly greater than the second vertical distance . It is thereby achieved that the room divider wall or the bottom wall must be upset or compressed at least a little so that the hook projection can grip under the locking edge. This is preferably an elastic compression of the elements, so that there is a certain pressure between the partition wall and the base wall, whereby the base wall is in turn stabilized particularly well.
  • the first vertical distance is preferably selected to be smaller than the second vertical distance. This in turn means that a certain compression of the partition wall or the bottom wall is necessary in order to achieve the locking of the hook projection.
  • the support hook comprises an elastically bendable hook shaft which is formed from the partition wall between two wall recesses arranged parallel to one another and opening out at the bottom at the terminating edge.
  • the wall cutouts are in particular designed in the shape of a slot.
  • the described design of the hook is advantageous for various reasons. First of all, by means of the elastically bendable hook shank, the support hook can be locked into the recess or under the locking edge in a simple manner, as will also be described in detail below.
  • the elastically flexible hook shaft also allows it when a corresponding force is applied, the hook projection is swiveled out from under the step so that the hook connection between the bottom wall and the partition wall is released and the latter can be removed from the interior of the drawer.
  • a raised force introduction structure is formed on the surface of the hook shaft between the two wall recesses.
  • the raised force introduction structure is preferably arranged on the same side as the hook projection.
  • the force introduction structure is expediently a matter of several elevations which are arranged one below the other.
  • the raised force introduction structure simplifies the manual application of force to the hook shaft to release the hook connection.
  • the support hook has a hook projection and a local elevation arrangement of the bottom wall is provided above the recess, the hook projection and / or the elevation arrangement being designed in such a way that when the room divider wall is inserted into the interior of the drawer, the hook shaft is removed from the Elevation arrangement is pushed away and thereby elastically bent, so that the hook projection snaps into the recess when it reaches a predetermined position relative to the recess.
  • the hook projection and / or the raised portion are accordingly designed in such a way that the elastically bendable hook shaft is automatically tensioned when the room divider wall is inserted.
  • the hook projection snaps through the tension of the hook shaft then automatically into the recess as soon as it is below the locking edge.
  • the room divider wall can be easily inserted into the drawer space and locked to the bottom wall.
  • a sliding surface is provided which is beveled in the insertion direction of the room divider wall and which is designed in such a way that it hits the raised area while the room divider wall is being inserted and thus causes the hook shaft to bend.
  • the hook projection is preferably shaped like a wedge, with a wedge tip pointing downwards.
  • the surface of the hook projection facing away from the hook shank functions as a sliding surface which is beveled in the insertion direction of the partition wall.
  • the sliding surface is neither parallel nor normal to the direction of insertion.
  • the hook projection preferably tapers downwards. Due to the bevel of the sliding surface, the hook shaft is stretched more and more or elastically bent, the further the partition wall is pushed down in the drawer interior, until the hook projection finally slides past the locking edge and snaps under the locking edge.
  • the two elevations are arranged on both sides of the room divider wall and extend along the room divider wall, so that the groove-like depression is formed between the elevations, into which a section of the room divider wall is inserted.
  • Both elevations can preferably come into contact with the partition wall at least in sections and thus support it in the direction parallel to the bottom wall.
  • the partition wall extends from a front outer wall section located on the front side of the container housing to a rear outer wall section located on the rear side of the container housing.
  • the partition wall thus runs in the same direction in which the drawer element is pushed in or pulled out.
  • the drawer element is additionally stabilized in this direction by the partition wall, so that in particular the forces applied during insertion can be better absorbed and distributed.
  • two room divider walls are arranged parallel to one another in the drawer interior, and that both room divider walls have respective support hooks on their lower end edges which engage with corresponding recesses in the bottom wall.
  • the bottom wall is stabilized even better by providing several room divider walls that are hooked to the bottom wall.
  • grooves are provided in the opposite outer wall sections into which the room divider wall is inserted so that the room divider wall is supported in the direction perpendicular to the room divider wall, the grooves preferably in each case between two guide ribs arranged on the outer wall sections are formed.
  • the room divider wall is fixed in the direction perpendicular to the room divider wall by the grooves provided.
  • the storage container designated in its entirety by reference number 1 has a container housing 2 with a vertical axis 30, the axial direction of the vertical axis 30 also being referred to below as the height direction 30.
  • the container housing 2 also has a longitudinal axis 20 at right angles to the vertical axis 30 and a transverse axis 10 at right angles to the vertical axis 30 and to the longitudinal axis 20.
  • the orientation of the longitudinal axis 20 is hereinafter also referred to as the longitudinal direction 20, the orientation of the transverse axis 10 also as the transverse direction 10 of the container housing 2 designated.
  • the dimensions in the longitudinal direction 20 determine the depth, the dimensions in the transverse direction 10 determine the width of the container housing 2.
  • the vertical axis 30 is oriented vertically and the longitudinal axis 20 and the transverse axis 10 are oriented horizontally.
