Definitions

  • the invention relates to a door for a caravan or mobile home with a locking device according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
  • the invention also relates to a storage or service space with a door and a method for opening a door.
  • the invention can be used in particular for doors of caravans or mobile homes, which usually have several doors on their outsides, for example to close storage and service rooms. Pieces of luggage or camping utensils can sometimes be stored in the storage spaces and the service rooms can be used to store gas bottles or water containers.
  • door is understood very generally to mean a device for closing an opening, in particular on the outside, of a vehicle, including flaps such as storage flaps or service flaps, covers and the like. In particular, it is a pivoting door.
  • the closure devices usually have one or more locking elements and correspondingly designed locking counterparts, in which the locking elements can engage.
  • a movement of the two elements relative to one another is then prevented in such a way that the door can no longer be opened in this position.
  • the locking element In order to open the door, the locking element must be disengaged from the locking counterpart and a force directed counter to the closing direction must be applied for this purpose.
  • the DE 10 2005 052 736 A1 relates to a push-push latch attached to a storage compartment and allowing movement of the compartment door between an open position and a closed position.
  • the EP 0 477 863 A1 relates to a push-push latch device comprising a housing fitted on a base, a plunger built in a part openable relative to the base, and a latch body having a pair of arms slidable through said housing is held so that in a first, free condition the arms extend outside the housing with a mutual spacing to receive the plunger between the arms.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a door for a caravan or mobile home with a locking device that makes it possible to compensate for manufacturing tolerances and to improve the overall visual impression of the caravan or mobile home.
  • the locking element and the locking counterpart are designed in such a way that they work together as a push-push lock. Thanks to a push-push locking mechanism, handle elements are no longer required on the door. Rather, one is sufficient to open the door Compressive force, i.e. applying a "push" to the door leaf. This means that the door leaf initially moves further in the closing direction. However, when the force is removed, the door leaf can then spring back beyond the closed position, so that the door leaf protrudes over the frame of the door. A tensile force can be applied via the edges of the door leaf and the door can be opened.
  • the door preferably has an opening support, for example in the form of a spring, which supports the opening of the door, so that the door opens automatically after the push unlocking.
  • an opening support for example in the form of a spring, which supports the opening of the door, so that the door opens automatically after the push unlocking.
  • the door can also be closed by a "push" on the door leaf, which is why handle elements on the door leaf are not required to open or close the door, so that the visual impression of the outer walls of the mobile home or caravan is improved.
  • the aerodynamic properties of the mobile home or caravan are also improved by appropriate handle-free doors, since the number of parts protruding outwards and thus leading to turbulence is reduced.
  • the locking counterpart has a guide for the locking element.
  • the locking element can be guided in this guide and run through the guide during a closing or opening process.
  • the guide can be designed as a control curve, in particular as a heart track. To produce a corresponding guide, this can be milled into the locking counterpart, for example.
  • the locking piece is designed as flat as possible, for example in the form of a plate, so that it requires very little space.
  • the locking counterpart can have fastening means, in particular recesses such as bores, via which it can be connected to the door leaf or to the door frame, for example with screws or bolts.
  • fastening means in particular recesses such as bores, via which it can be connected to the door leaf or to the door frame, for example with screws or bolts.
  • Such a fastening is characterized by low assembly costs.
  • the locking counterpart has a blocking area into which the locking element can fall when the door is moved in the closing direction.
  • the blocking area can be designed in such a way that the door is locked in this position, ie cannot be opened by a pulling force.
  • the blocking area can have a contour that corresponds to the locking element, so that the locking element can bear against this contour of the blocking area.
  • the locking counterpart has a release area into which the locking element can fall out of the blocking area when the door moves in the closing direction. If the locking element is in the release area, the door can be opened.
  • the blocking area can have a starting bevel, against which the locking element can strike during a movement in the closing direction of the door and is then guided along this starting bevel from the blocking area into the release area.
  • the locking counterpart has a locking area which is arranged between the release area and the locking area and which the locking element passes through when the door moves in the closing direction.
  • the closing area can be designed in such a way that the locking element is transferred from the release area to the blocking area.
  • the closing area can have a stop contour against which the blocking element strikes when the door moves in the closing direction and is then transferred along the stop contour from the closing area to the blocking area.
  • the locking counterpart has an opening area which is arranged between the blocking area and the release area and is traversed by the locking element when the door moves in the opening direction.
  • the locking element In order to move the locking element from the blocking area into the opening area, it can first be moved by moving it in the closing direction of the door, which causes the locking element to hit the stop and then be transferred from the locking position into the opening area.
  • the locking element can independently run through the opening area and then come to rest in the release area.
  • the release area and the locking area can be the areas in which the locking element rests when no force is acting on it. It is advantageous if the locking element does not rest in the opening and closing areas, but only runs through these areas.
  • the closing area has a starting bevel.
  • a malfunction of the closure device can be avoided via this starting bevel.
  • the starting bevel can be in the end of the closing area facing the release area be arranged so that the locking element has to pass the run-on slope during a transfer from the release area into the closing area.
  • the opening area which is also in direct contact with the release area, preferably does not have a run-up slope, but rather an edge which can prevent the locking element from being able to be moved out of the release area into the opening area.
  • the starting bevel ensures that the locking element always enters the closing area during a closing movement from the release position.
  • both the locking counterpart can be fixed and the locking element can be moved, or the locking counterpart can be moved and the locking element can be fixed.
  • both elements can be designed to be movable, provided that they can also be moved relative to one another.
  • the locking element it has proven to be advantageous if this is mounted in a receptacle.
  • the recording can be arranged either on the door leaf of the door, so that it moves with a movement of the door leaf, or on the door frame.
  • the receptacle can be used, for example, in a door leaf recess or in a frame recess, so that it is flush with the door leaf or the door frame and only the locking element protrudes over the contour.
  • the locking element can be designed to be rotationally symmetrical, for example as a mushroom pin or, in particular, as a cylindrical bolt.
  • the receptacle and the locking element can work together as a locking unit.
  • the recess can serve as a guide and, in terms of construction, can be designed, for example, as a slot or as a curved track.
  • the locking element is resiliently mounted in the radial and axial direction. As a result of this mounting, the locking element can move both in the radial direction and in the axial direction relative to the receptacle.
  • the locking element is movably mounted via at least one spring element, in particular a compression spring.
  • the locking element can be moved against the force of the spring element. It is possible that only one spring is provided, but alternatively it is also conceivable that the locking element is mounted on several, in particular two, spring elements. Furthermore, manufacturing tolerances can also be compensated for via the resilient mounting.
  • the locking element With regard to the movement of the locking element, it has proven to be advantageous if it can be moved, in particular linearly, in the direction of the recess.
  • the spring element which can act as a linear force, for example as a spiral spring, the locking element can be guided linearly along the recess or can also be guided along a curve.
  • the locking element moves in the recess when passing through the guide.
  • the locking element can be moved against the force of the spring when transferring from the release area to the closed area.
  • the spring can ensure that the locking element at a Push movement from the closing area automatically enters the opening area.
  • the blocking area can be designed in such a way that the locking element is prevented from jumping out unintentionally.
  • the locking element is resiliently mounted in the axial direction in order to overcome the run-on bevel.
  • the locking element can be tensioned in the axial direction against the force of a spring. Accordingly, this axial movement allows the locking element to move out of the release area only into the closing area and not into the opening area.
  • a further embodiment of the locking device provides that it has a locking device for locking the door against unintentional opening.
  • the locking device can prevent the door from being opened not only by a tensile force but also by a compressive force in the sense of push-push locking. This is particularly advantageous if, for example, an unintentional compressive force is exerted on the door leaf, which would then possibly lead to the door being opened unintentionally.
  • unintentional compressive forces can occur when driving through tunnels or when there is oncoming traffic, so that even in such situations it is possible to prevent the doors from being opened unintentionally and the load from falling out.
  • the locking device comprises a locking element, in particular on the frame, which engages in a locking position in a locking counterpart, in particular on the door.
  • the blocking element can be positively coupled to the blocking counterpart in a blocking position, which can then prevent movement of the door leaf.
  • the blocking element arranged on the door leaf side and the locking counterpart is arranged on the frame side.
  • the blocking element can be actively moved, for example, by an actuator configured as a motor.
  • the movement of the blocking element can be controlled remotely and, for example, can also be coupled to the central locking system of the mobile home or caravan, so that there is no need to lock all the doors separately. It is also possible for the locking device to be coupled to an on-board network of the mobile home or caravan. Such a coupling can be achieved, for example, in that the doors arranged on the outside are automatically locked by the locking device from a certain speed, so that the doors cannot open unintentionally when driving.
  • the locking element can be designed as a locking bolt, in particular as a sliding bolt, and the locking counterpart can accordingly be designed as a bolt receptacle.
  • the locking device can be lockable. For example, it is possible for a lock to be provided on the outside of the door leaf, via which the locking device can be moved into the locked position or into the open position.
  • the locking element or the locking counterpart is arranged in or on the door frame.
  • the locking element or the locking counterpart is arranged on the door frame in such a way that it does not protrude into the clear opening of the door frame and reduces it. This can be achieved, for example, by arranging the locking element and/or the locking counterpart in a frame rebate.
  • the locking element and/or the locking counterpart are dimensioned in such a way that they do not protrude over the fold of the frame and protrude into the clear opening of the frame.
  • the locking element or the locking counterpart is arranged on the door leaf, in particular in a door rebate, so that the two elements can engage in one another when the door is closed.
  • the door rebate and the frame rebate can be designed to correspond in such a way that the door is flush with the outer wall of the caravan or mobile home in a closed position.
  • the closure device is designed without a handle.
  • a handle-free configuration makes it possible for the door leaf to be designed as a continuous, particularly flat plate to the outside and for the locking device not to be visible from the outside.
  • This allows the outside of the caravan or mobile home to be designed freely, since actuating devices that impair the appearance, such as handles, are not required.
  • the object mentioned at the outset is also achieved by a method for opening a door , in which the door is first moved in the closing direction and only then in the opening direction. It is advantageous if the door is designed in the manner described above. The effects and advantages already explained result.
  • Mobile homes and caravans often have various doors 2 on their outsides, which mostly serve to close storage or service areas, as is shown schematically in FIG 8 can be seen.
  • items of luggage, folding furniture or similar camping utensils can be arranged in the stowage spaces.
  • Service rooms can be used, for example, to hold gas bottles, waste water containers or the like.
  • a large number of corresponding storage and service spaces and therefore also a large number of corresponding doors 2 are therefore often arranged on the outsides of mobile homes and caravans.
  • the doors 2 can be designed very differently, in particular with regard to their size and their opening direction, which is why the doors 2 also contribute to a part to the external appearance of the caravan or mobile home.
  • the corresponding doors 2 do not have any operating devices on their outer sides to open or close them, which offers advantages both in terms of the aerodynamic properties of the caravan or mobile home and in terms of the design of the Side walls.
  • a push-push locking mechanism In order to open the doors 2, a push-push locking mechanism is used, in which a force has to be applied in the closing direction S both for closing and for opening a door 2, so that no handles are required more are needed.
  • the in 1 shown locking counterpart 4 arranged and on the door leaf 2.1 of the door in 2 shown recording 7 and the locking element 3.
  • That in the 1 Locking counterpart 4 shown has a guide 5, in which the locking element 3 is guided during a relative movement between the door leaf 2.1 and the door frame 2.2.
  • This guide 5 essentially consists of four different areas 5.1 to 5.4, the design and function of which will be explained below.
  • the release area 5.1 is arranged in the upper area of the guide 5. If the locking element 3 is in this release area 5.1, the door leaf 2.1 can be moved relative to the door frame 2.1. In this position, the door leaf 2.1 protrudes over the door frame 2.2, so that the door can be opened, for example, by a manual pulling movement or by the force of a spring supporting the opening of the door 2.
  • the locking element 3 can be transferred via the run-up slope 6 from the release area 5.1 to the closing area 5.2.
  • the locking element 3 is designed to be movable in two directions.
  • the locking element 3 can initially be located in the recess 9 designed as an elongated hole as shown in FIG 2 move up and down relative to the receptacle 7.
  • the receptacle 7 has a spring element 8 which acts on a housing 14 and is designed as a compression spring.
  • the closing area 5.2 of the guide 5 has a starting bevel 6.
  • the locking element 3 When passing through the closing area 5.2, the locking element 3 must therefore also be able to move in an axial direction.
  • the locking element 3 is movably mounted in the axial direction by a spring. This spring is arranged in the housing 14 which can move together with the locking element 3 against the force of the spring element 8 .
  • the guide 5 also has a blocking area 5.3, in which the locking element 3 is arranged in a locking position. Furthermore, the guide 5 has an opening area 5.4, which connects the blocking area 5.3 to the release area 5.1.
  • the various areas 5.1 to 5.4 and their functions in conjunction with the locking element 3 will be discussed below using the illustrations in FIGS Figures 3a to 3c to be dealt with in more detail.
  • the locking counterpart 4 is arranged on the front side in the fold of the door frame 2.2 and the receptacle 7 corresponding to the front side in a fold of the door leaf 2.1.
  • the closure device 1 is in the illustrated installation situation in the locking position. Because the locking element 3 is in the blocking area 5.3 of the guide 5. In this position it is not possible to move the door 2 or the door leaf 2.1 relative to the door frame 2.1 by a tensile force.
  • the two elements are opposite each other in such a way that the locking element 3 moves during a movement of the door leaf 2.1 in the guide 5 of the locking counterpart 4, as has been described above.
  • both the locking counterpart 4 and the locking element 3 can be seen in the representations for the sake of clarity, these elements are arranged in the fold of the door leaf 2.1 or in that of the door frame 2.2 in such a way that they are not visible from the outside and the door leaf 2.1, in particular are covered by the outside door area above the door rebate.
  • FIG 5 In the representation of figure 5 is the same installation situation as in 4 but presented from a slightly different perspective. It can be seen that the receptacle 7 is embedded in a rebate of the door leaf 2.1 and therefore requires very little space in the gap between the door leaf 2.1 and the door frame 2.2. Only the locking element 3 protrudes over the contour of the door rebate, as is also the case, for example, in the representation of FIG 4 can be seen. By arranging the receptacle 7 and the locking counterpart 5 according to the illustrations in Figures 4 and 5 it can be seen that if possible none of the two elements protrudes into the clear opening of the door 2.
  • the locking device 1 prevents the door 2 from being opened due to a tensile force, it can happen that an unintentional compressive force acts on the door 2 or on the door leaf 2.1, which would then lead to the door 2 opening. This can occur, for example, when driving quickly through a tunnel, especially with oncoming traffic, if a pressure wave hits a door 2 .
  • the Figures 6 and 7 locking device shown provided. This is arranged on the inside of the door 2 and is therefore not visible from the outside. Once the door 2 has been closed, the locking element 3 is therefore arranged in the blocking area 5.3, an opening of the blocking counterpart 12 is aligned with a bolt-shaped blocking element 11, as well as in the representations of FIG Figures 6 and 7 can be seen. A linear movement of the blocking element 11 can engage in the blocking counterpart 12 and thus reliably prevent the door from being opened even when it is moving in the closing direction.
  • the locking member 11 is connected at one end to a motor 15 which can move the locking member 11 linearly. The closure device 1 can therefore be blocked by this motor.
  • the locking element 11 is actuated by the motor 15 from the in 6 position shown in the in 7 transferred position shown, so pulled out of the locking counterpart 12. This enables a relative movement between the locking counterpart 12 and the locking element 11, so that a pressure force can be exerted on the door from the outside, the locking element 3 is transferred from the locking area 5.3 to the release area 5.1 in the manner described above, and the door can then be opened can.
