Definitions

  • the invention relates to a floor lamp and a method for operating a floor lamp.
  • desk lamps are usually used, which either stand with one foot on the table surface or are mounted on the edge of the table with a clamp or the like. If a base is used, it is relatively heavy and has a large surface area in order to ensure the stability of the lamp. Accordingly, it takes up a lot of space on the desk surface.
  • floor lamp Another alternative to illuminating a table would be to use a floor lamp.
  • Conventional floor lamps are designed in such a way that they stand freely in the room. As a rule, they are used to illuminate an area of the room and/or to create ambient lighting, for example by means of a ceiling or wall washer.
  • Such floor lamps are rarely used to illuminate table surfaces, especially desks, since the spotlights in most designs are not designed in such a way that they can be positioned at a suitable distance above the table surface in order to illuminate the table top in the desired way.
  • a further disadvantage of such conventional floor lamps is that they usually have a relatively heavy and/or protruding base so that the center of gravity is as low as possible and a stable position of the floor lamp is ensured. For this reason, floor lamps are often only used in one place and not flexibly at different tables.
  • a leaning lamp with a lamp section arranged in an upper region of a lamp stem and having a lampshade is known.
  • the lamp stem merges into a T-shaped base, which rests on the ground with the crossbar of the T. This lamp can be leaned against a wall and then shine into the room.
  • a floor lamp which is specially designed to lean against an object to be illuminated with the floor lamp, in particular a table.
  • This object which normally stands on the floor in space, is to be illuminated at least in certain areas with the floor lamp, with an upwardly directed surface of the object preferably being illuminated.
  • the object is preferably a table, in particular a desk.
  • This floor lamp has a lamp stem on which a light source arrangement, which preferably has LEDs, is arranged in an upper area, in particular in an area above the object to be illuminated, for example above the tabletop.
  • a lamp base which, in an intended position of use, is in contact with a floor next to the object at a contact surface or a contact region of the lamp base.
  • the contact surface is designed in such a way that, in the intended use position, the floor lamp tilts against the object about a tilting axis defined by the contact surface.
  • the standing surface or the contact surface or the contact area on the base of the lamp is designed overall in such a way that in this position of use an imaginary projection line running vertically downwards from the center of gravity of the lamp meets the ground at an intersection point which is outside of a the enclosed area defined by the stand area. This automatically causes the lamp to tilt in a specific direction according to the center of gravity.
  • the tilting axis is defined by the contact surface or the contact area (in particular the limits of the contact surface or the contact area), since this tilting axis is runs exactly along the contact or the boundary between the contact surface or contact area of the lamp base and the floor.
  • the present lamp is not intended to be leaned against a wall in the room and then radiate away from the wall into the room, but the lamp is designed in such a way that the object can be illuminated against which the lamp is leaning against, such as a table.
  • the floor lamp has a support element arrangement for this purpose, which is arranged on the lamp stem in an area between the lamp base and the lamp arrangement, preferably in a central area or approximately at mid-height of the lamp stem.
  • the floor lamp can be well supported on the object in the intended position of use, for example resting on the edge of a table, if the support element arrangement is in the tilting direction on the side in which the floor lamp is tilted against the object in the intended position of use. In this way, a stable position of the floor lamp is guaranteed in the intended position of use.
  • a table is understood to mean any object with a table surface, ie in addition to desks, conference tables, work tables, etc., in particular also workbenches or counters with a table surface.
  • the floor lamp according to the invention can therefore be used as a work lamp and is not only used for atmospheric lighting. Since there is no need for a heavy and protruding lamp base, the floor lamp can also be transported relatively easily from one table to another or switched from one side to the other at the table. This is particularly desirable with larger tables, for example graphic work tables or the like, with conference tables or the like.
  • the lamp base is placed on a floor next to an object, preferably a table, and the lamp stem is tilted and leaned against the object, so that a light source arrangement arranged in an upper area of the lamp stem covers the object surface, in particular the table surface. lit from (obliquely) above.
  • the floor lamp is preferably supported on the edge of the table with a support element which is arranged in a region between the lamp base and the lamp arrangement on the lamp stem.
  • this floor lamp is not limited to this application, but it is also possible to lean this floor lamp on other objects in the room in order to illuminate them from above, for example on an armchair or similar.
  • the lamp base can be configured as desired.
  • the lamp base and lamp stem can also be an integrated unit.
  • the light stalk can simply be designed in the form of a dome at the bottom as a kind of light base.
  • the contact surface is like a single contact point and the tilting axis can be oriented anywhere in space on the floor surface.
  • the direction in which the lamp then tilts of its own accord depends on the center of gravity, which can be determined, for example, by the lighting means arrangement arranged at the top of the lamp stem. Even in such a case, however, relatively stable positioning of the floor lamp is possible due to the support element arrangement.
  • the contact surface or the contact area extends along a line.
  • the tilting axis is then defined by this line, ie the light stem or the floor lamp can then only tilt away to the right and left perpendicularly to this tilting axis.
  • the support element arrangement is located accordingly on the lamp stem in a tilting direction extending perpendicularly to the tilting axis on the side of the lamp stem which can normally tilt against the object.
  • the lamp base is tapered at least on a side pointing downwards.
  • this can be a round rod or a round tube, or the lamp base can be wedge-shaped or the like at the bottom.
  • the base of the lamp is particularly preferably designed as a rod.
  • this bar is then arranged perpendicular to the lamp stem.
  • the support element arrangement should preferably be located at approximately mid-height on the lamp stem.
  • the support element arrangement is particularly preferably located on the lamp stem at a height of at least 40 cm, preferably at least 60 cm.
  • the support element arrangement is located on the lamp stem at a maximum height of 110 cm, preferably a maximum of 90 cm.
  • the support element arrangement is very particularly preferably located on the lamp stem at a height of between 75 cm and 85 cm. The height here means the distance between the support element arrangement and the respective support element from the contact surface on the base of the lamp.
  • the light stem can have any shape, for example, be designed as a round tube or the like.
  • the lamp stem particularly preferably has at least one flat side and the support element arrangement is arranged on the flat side of the lamp stem.
  • the lamp stem is designed, at least in sections, as a flat tube.
  • the support element arrangement preferably has a support element with a support surface which is directed downwards (in the normal position of use). This can also be a relatively small or narrow support surface.
  • a support surface can, for. B. be the underside of a projection or a bead or the like, which is arranged on the lamp stem.
  • the support element arrangement is preferably arranged or mounted in a variable manner in its position on the lamp stem.
  • this can mean that the support element arrangement can be mounted on different sides of the lamp stem in order to select the direction in which the floor lamp is leaning against the object.
  • the support element arrangement is particularly preferably arranged or mounted on the lamp stem so that it can be displaced in height along the lamp stem. In this way it is possible to adjust the floor lamp to the height of the object, in particular the height of the table.
  • desks are usually between 75 and 80 cm high.
  • the right angle can be set between the point of contact between the floor lamp and the table top, so that a lamp head at the upper end of the lamp stem has the ideal distance from the surface or table top to be illuminated.
  • the support element arrangement has a sleeve which is arranged to be displaceable along at least one section on the lamp stem.
  • This can in particular be a ring-shaped collar, but also a C-shaped collar, which is mounted around the lamp stem like a clip.
  • This cuff can then z. B. are one or more support elements, for example in the form of beads or ribs.
  • a further advantage of such a collar is that there is no direct contact between the edge of the table and the material of the lamp stem itself, and consequently the surface of the lamp stem could not be damaged by constant leaning against it. If necessary, a corresponding cuff can be replaced inexpensively after a period of use, if this should be necessary.
  • the collar is preferably designed in such a way that it is arranged in a clamped manner on the lamp stem in order to ensure that it can only be displaced along the lamp stem with a sufficiently high external force and does not shift by itself.
  • the cuff can also, at least on the inside, at least in regions, comprise a material that increases static friction, for example a rubber coating, or be designed in a rubber-like manner.
  • the cuff itself is made of a rubber-like material, for example a plastic such as TPE. This has the advantage that on the one hand, as mentioned, it is relatively difficult to displace and does not move itself out of a set position.
  • the cuff is then also made of a rubber-like material on the outside, which protects the edges of the objects against which the lamp is to be placed.
  • the cuff is made of an at least partially transparent material, preferably almost completely transparent.
  • the floor lamp preferably has a user interface on the lamp stem above the support element arrangement, for example a control panel.
  • This user interface can preferably be located on the same side on the lamp stem as the support element arrangement. In this case the user interface would point in the direction of the object to be illuminated. In principle, however, it is also possible to attach the support element and the user interface to different sides.
  • a lamp head with an illuminant unit is arranged on the top of the lamp stem.
  • This lamp head can be swiveled around two axes. These axes are particularly preferably essentially horizontal and are preferably perpendicular to one another. Due to the fact that the lamp head can be pivoted about two axes relative to the lamp stem, it is also possible to pivot the lamp head completely to the other side of the lamp stem, so that it is then possible to choose, for example, whether the user interface is on the outside, for example on a table to be illuminated , or is on the inside. In particular, if the position of the support element arrangement on the lamp stem can be varied so that the side can be changed or, for example, has support elements on several sides, the lamp can also be leaned against the object, in particular a table edge, with correspondingly different sides.
  • the user interface can be used to simply switch the lighting arrangement of the floor lamp on and off, but it can also have other functions, for example to dim the lighting means of the floor lamp or to change the color, in particular the color temperature.
  • the lighting arrangement can have one or more lighting units.
  • a light source unit is understood here to mean a single light source or also a group of several light sources.
  • the light sources are preferably LEDs in each case.
  • An illuminant unit particularly preferably has LEDs of different color temperatures. With several light sources or light source units with different color temperatures and with a suitable control it is possible to change the color temperature of the overall light by mixing the light components of the different light sources.
  • the lamp head can preferably have one or more light source units which, when used as intended, are directed downwards to illuminate the object surface, but also several light source units which are directed upwards and serve as uplighters or the like.
  • the controller can preferably also be designed in such a way that only individual light source units are controlled, for example only one light source unit or group of light source units that shine downwards, or only one light source unit or group of light source units that emit light upwards, etc.
  • the floor lamp can also preferably include an automatic controller in order to control the light color or color temperature according to a defined function, in particular in a predetermined circadian curve.
  • control device of the floor lamp which is arranged inside the floor lamp, is controlled via an app of a mobile phone or the like.
  • the lamp arrangements in particular with the cold light and the warm light, the user interface, the app functions or remote control options for the floor lamp, the various time-dependent control functions, in particular the circadian control functions and/or the use of a Random control pattern and the Boost function or Boost button of the user interface is on the DE 10 2014 115 076 , the DE 10 2014 115 079 , the DE 10 2014 115 082 , the DE 10 2014 115 085 and the DE 10 2014 115 226 referenced, in which these various characteristics are explained in detail. All features of the lights or functions described in these documents can preferably also be implemented in the wall light according to the invention. The disclosure content of all the aforementioned writings is therefore expressly hereby incorporated in its entirety.
  • the floor lamp has a rechargeable battery arrangement, preferably a rechargeable battery compartment with one or more exchangeable rechargeable battery units, for supplying energy to the illuminant arrangement.
  • the accumulator arrangement or the accumulator compartment is preferably in the lamp base and/or in a arranged in the lower area of the lamp stem.
  • Such a battery arrangement allows the floor lamp to be used particularly flexibly. This idea is therefore very advantageous on its own, even without the use of a support element arrangement.
  • the floor lamp preferably has a charging interface for a charging cable for connection to an energy supply network for charging the accumulator arrangement.
  • the charging interface can, for example, include a socket or the like, but can also be used for a wireless, e.g. B. inductive charging.

Description

The invention relates to a floor lamp and a method for operating a floor lamp.

To illuminate desks, desk lamps are usually used, which either stand with one foot on the table surface or are mounted on the edge of the table with a clamp or the like. If a base is used, it is relatively heavy and has a large surface area in order to ensure the stability of the lamp. Accordingly, it takes up a lot of space on the desk surface.

An alternative to lighting a table is to permanently mount lamps above the table. However, unlike a desk lamp, these cannot be used flexibly, but are local.

Another alternative to illuminating a table would be to use a floor lamp. Conventional floor lamps are designed in such a way that they stand freely in the room. As a rule, they are used to illuminate an area of the room and/or to create ambient lighting, for example by means of a ceiling or wall washer. In addition, there are also floor lamps that alternatively or additionally have a light source in the form of a spotlight or the like that can be directed onto an object. With these spotlights, certain spots on the wall where z. B. images are illuminated. If these spotlights can be directed downwards, they are usually used as reading lights, e.g. B. next to a sofa or armchair. Such floor lamps are rarely used to illuminate table surfaces, especially desks, since the spotlights in most designs are not designed in such a way that they can be positioned at a suitable distance above the table surface in order to illuminate the table top in the desired way. A further disadvantage of such conventional floor lamps is that they usually have a relatively heavy and/or protruding base so that the center of gravity is as low as possible and a stable position of the floor lamp is ensured. For this reason, floor lamps are often only used in one place and not flexibly at different tables.

From the DE 20 2004 013 759 U1 a leaning lamp with a lamp section arranged in an upper region of a lamp stem and having a lampshade is known. The lamp stem merges into a T-shaped base, which rests on the ground with the crossbar of the T. This lamp can be leaned against a wall and then shine into the room.

It is an object of the present invention to provide an alternative to the above. to create lights.

This object is achieved by a floor lamp according to patent claim 1 and by a method for operating a floor lamp according to patent claim 14 .

According to the invention, a floor lamp is used which is specially designed to lean against an object to be illuminated with the floor lamp, in particular a table. This object, which normally stands on the floor in space, is to be illuminated at least in certain areas with the floor lamp, with an upwardly directed surface of the object preferably being illuminated. The object is preferably a table, in particular a desk. This floor lamp has a lamp stem on which a light source arrangement, which preferably has LEDs, is arranged in an upper area, in particular in an area above the object to be illuminated, for example above the tabletop.

At the lower end of the lamp stem there is a lamp base which, in an intended position of use, is in contact with a floor next to the object at a contact surface or a contact region of the lamp base. The contact surface is designed in such a way that, in the intended use position, the floor lamp tilts against the object about a tilting axis defined by the contact surface. This means that the standing surface or the contact surface or the contact area on the base of the lamp is designed overall in such a way that in this position of use an imaginary projection line running vertically downwards from the center of gravity of the lamp meets the ground at an intersection point which is outside of a the enclosed area defined by the stand area. This automatically causes the lamp to tilt in a specific direction according to the center of gravity. The tilting axis is defined by the contact surface or the contact area (in particular the limits of the contact surface or the contact area), since this tilting axis is runs exactly along the contact or the boundary between the contact surface or contact area of the lamp base and the floor.

Unlike the above-mentioned leaning lamp, the present lamp is not intended to be leaned against a wall in the room and then radiate away from the wall into the room, but the lamp is designed in such a way that the object can be illuminated against which the lamp is leaning against, such as a table. According to the invention, the floor lamp has a support element arrangement for this purpose, which is arranged on the lamp stem in an area between the lamp base and the lamp arrangement, preferably in a central area or approximately at mid-height of the lamp stem. With this support element arrangement, the floor lamp can be well supported on the object in the intended position of use, for example resting on the edge of a table, if the support element arrangement is in the tilting direction on the side in which the floor lamp is tilted against the object in the intended position of use. In this way, a stable position of the floor lamp is guaranteed in the intended position of use.

In contrast to conventional floor lamps, a heavy lamp base with a large footprint is not provided here, but instead a lamp base that is as narrow as possible is used and the center of gravity of the floor lamp can also be relatively high up, since the floor lamp is tilting here against the object to be illuminated, for example the table, is currently desired. A table is understood to mean any object with a table surface, ie in addition to desks, conference tables, work tables, etc., in particular also workbenches or counters with a table surface.

Since the lamp stem extends obliquely upwards from the floor over the table surface, it is also automatically ensured that the light source arrangement arranged in the upper area is above the table surface and good illumination of the table surface can be ensured. The floor lamp according to the invention can therefore be used as a work lamp and is not only used for atmospheric lighting. Since there is no need for a heavy and protruding lamp base, the floor lamp can also be transported relatively easily from one table to another or switched from one side to the other at the table. This is particularly desirable with larger tables, for example graphic work tables or the like, with conference tables or the like.

In a method according to the invention for operating a floor lamp, the lamp base is placed on a floor next to an object, preferably a table, and the lamp stem is tilted and leaned against the object, so that a light source arrangement arranged in an upper area of the lamp stem covers the object surface, in particular the table surface. lit from (obliquely) above. The floor lamp is preferably supported on the edge of the table with a support element which is arranged in a region between the lamp base and the lamp arrangement on the lamp stem.

Even if tables are primarily mentioned as objects to be illuminated, the use of this floor lamp is not limited to this application, but it is also possible to lean this floor lamp on other objects in the room in order to illuminate them from above, for example on an armchair or similar.

Further particularly advantageous refinements and developments of the invention result from the dependent claims and the following description, whereby the patent claims of a certain category can also be developed according to the dependent claims of another category and features of different exemplary embodiments can be combined to form new exemplary embodiments, even if these Combination is not explicitly mentioned.

In principle, the lamp base can be configured as desired. In particular, the lamp base and lamp stem can also be an integrated unit. For example, the light stalk can simply be designed in the form of a dome at the bottom as a kind of light base. In this case, the contact surface is like a single contact point and the tilting axis can be oriented anywhere in space on the floor surface. In this case, the direction in which the lamp then tilts of its own accord depends on the center of gravity, which can be determined, for example, by the lighting means arrangement arranged at the top of the lamp stem. Even in such a case, however, relatively stable positioning of the floor lamp is possible due to the support element arrangement.

In a preferred variant, the contact surface or the contact area extends along a line. The tilting axis is then defined by this line, ie the light stem or the floor lamp can then only tilt away to the right and left perpendicularly to this tilting axis. The support element arrangement is located accordingly on the lamp stem in a tilting direction extending perpendicularly to the tilting axis on the side of the lamp stem which can normally tilt against the object.

In order to realize a contact surface that extends along a line, several contact points can be formed on the underside of the foot, which lie on the desired line. In another preferred variant, the lamp base is tapered at least on a side pointing downwards. For example, this can be a round rod or a round tube, or the lamp base can be wedge-shaped or the like at the bottom. The base of the lamp is particularly preferably designed as a rod. Preferably, this bar is then arranged perpendicular to the lamp stem.

As already mentioned above, the support element arrangement should preferably be located at approximately mid-height on the lamp stem. The support element arrangement is particularly preferably located on the lamp stem at a height of at least 40 cm, preferably at least 60 cm. In addition, the support element arrangement is located on the lamp stem at a maximum height of 110 cm, preferably a maximum of 90 cm. The support element arrangement is very particularly preferably located on the lamp stem at a height of between 75 cm and 85 cm. The height here means the distance between the support element arrangement and the respective support element from the contact surface on the base of the lamp.

Basically, the light stem can have any shape, for example, be designed as a round tube or the like. However, the lamp stem particularly preferably has at least one flat side and the support element arrangement is arranged on the flat side of the lamp stem. In a particularly preferred exemplary embodiment, the lamp stem is designed, at least in sections, as a flat tube.

There are also various options for constructing the support element arrangement. The support element arrangement preferably has a support element with a support surface which is directed downwards (in the normal position of use). This can also be a relatively small or narrow support surface. Such a support surface can, for. B. be the underside of a projection or a bead or the like, which is arranged on the lamp stem.

The support element arrangement is preferably arranged or mounted in a variable manner in its position on the lamp stem. On the one hand, this can mean that the support element arrangement can be mounted on different sides of the lamp stem in order to select the direction in which the floor lamp is leaning against the object. The support element arrangement is particularly preferably arranged or mounted on the lamp stem so that it can be displaced in height along the lamp stem. In this way it is possible to adjust the floor lamp to the height of the object, in particular the height of the table. For example, desks are usually between 75 and 80 cm high. By adjusting the height, the right angle can be set between the point of contact between the floor lamp and the table top, so that a lamp head at the upper end of the lamp stem has the ideal distance from the surface or table top to be illuminated.

In a preferred variant, the support element arrangement has a sleeve which is arranged to be displaceable along at least one section on the lamp stem. This can in particular be a ring-shaped collar, but also a C-shaped collar, which is mounted around the lamp stem like a clip. This cuff can then z. B. are one or more support elements, for example in the form of beads or ribs. A further advantage of such a collar is that there is no direct contact between the edge of the table and the material of the lamp stem itself, and consequently the surface of the lamp stem could not be damaged by constant leaning against it. If necessary, a corresponding cuff can be replaced inexpensively after a period of use, if this should be necessary.

The collar is preferably designed in such a way that it is arranged in a clamped manner on the lamp stem in order to ensure that it can only be displaced along the lamp stem with a sufficiently high external force and does not shift by itself. As an alternative or in addition, the cuff can also, at least on the inside, at least in regions, comprise a material that increases static friction, for example a rubber coating, or be designed in a rubber-like manner. In a preferred variant, the cuff itself is made of a rubber-like material, for example a plastic such as TPE. This has the advantage that on the one hand, as mentioned, it is relatively difficult to displace and does not move itself out of a set position. On the other hand, the cuff is then also made of a rubber-like material on the outside, which protects the edges of the objects against which the lamp is to be placed.

In a further preferred variant, the cuff is made of an at least partially transparent material, preferably almost completely transparent.

The floor lamp preferably has a user interface on the lamp stem above the support element arrangement, for example a control panel. This user interface can preferably be located on the same side on the lamp stem as the support element arrangement. In this case the user interface would point in the direction of the object to be illuminated. In principle, however, it is also possible to attach the support element and the user interface to different sides.

A lamp head with an illuminant unit is arranged on the top of the lamp stem. This lamp head can be swiveled around two axes.

The user interface can be used to simply switch the lighting arrangement of the floor lamp on and off, but it can also have other functions, for example to dim the lighting means of the floor lamp or to change the color, in particular the color temperature.

For this purpose, the lighting arrangement can have one or more lighting units. A light source unit is understood here to mean a single light source or also a group of several light sources. The light sources are preferably LEDs in each case. An illuminant unit particularly preferably has LEDs of different color temperatures. With several light sources or light source units with different color temperatures and with a suitable control it is possible to change the color temperature of the overall light by mixing the light components of the different light sources. The lamp head can preferably have one or more light source units which, when used as intended, are directed downwards to illuminate the object surface, but also several light source units which are directed upwards and serve as uplighters or the like. The controller can preferably also be designed in such a way that only individual light source units are controlled, for example only one light source unit or group of light source units that shine downwards, or only one light source unit or group of light source units that emit light upwards, etc.

The floor lamp can also preferably include an automatic controller in order to control the light color or color temperature according to a defined function, in particular in a predetermined circadian curve.

Furthermore, it is also possible that the control device of the floor lamp, which is arranged inside the floor lamp, is controlled via an app of a mobile phone or the like.

With regard to the features of the functions and the structure of the lamp control, the lamp arrangements, in particular with the cold light and the warm light, the user interface, the app functions or remote control options for the floor lamp, the various time-dependent control functions, in particular the circadian control functions and/or the use of a Random control pattern and the Boost function or Boost button of the user interface is on the DE 10 2014 115 076 , the DE 10 2014 115 079 , the DE 10 2014 115 082 , the DE 10 2014 115 085 and the DE 10 2014 115 226 referenced, in which these various characteristics are explained in detail. All features of the lights or functions described in these documents can preferably also be implemented in the wall light according to the invention. The disclosure content of all the aforementioned writings is therefore expressly hereby incorporated in its entirety.

In a very particularly preferred exemplary embodiment, the floor lamp has a rechargeable battery arrangement, preferably a rechargeable battery compartment with one or more exchangeable rechargeable battery units, for supplying energy to the illuminant arrangement. The accumulator arrangement or the accumulator compartment is preferably in the lamp base and/or in a arranged in the lower area of the lamp stem. Such a battery arrangement allows the floor lamp to be used particularly flexibly. This idea is therefore very advantageous on its own, even without the use of a support element arrangement.

Correspondingly, the floor lamp preferably has a charging interface for a charging cable for connection to an energy supply network for charging the accumulator arrangement. The charging interface can, for example, include a socket or the like, but can also be used for a wireless, e.g. B. inductive charging.

The accumulator arrangement or the accumulator compartment and/or the charging interface are preferably located in the lamp base and/or in a lower area of the lamp stem.

Optionally, a charger can also be integrated into the floor lamp, with this also preferably being located in the lamp base or in the lower area of the lamp stem. If the floor lamp itself does not have a charger, then an external charger can be used in a charging cable or the like.

The lamp particularly preferably has a charge status display for the accumulator arrangement. This is preferably also located in the lamp base and/or in a lower area of the lamp stem. Such a charge status display can have, for example, several light-emitting elements arranged in the manner of a charging bar, with a corresponding number of light-emitting elements lighting up depending on the charge status. However, it is also possible to use a signal light arrangement that can be varied in color as a charge status indicator, which, for example, lights up in different colors depending on the charge status, for example red when there is hardly any energy left, yellow in a medium range and green when the charge status is still relatively good.

In the Figures 1 to 5 a first exemplary embodiment of a floor lamp 1 according to the invention is shown. while showing figure 1 the perspective view of the floor lamp 1 in the position of use, but the object T to be illuminated, for example a table, is not shown here for better visibility of the support element arrangement 10 . the Figures 2 and 3 show the floor lamp 1 in the intended use when illuminating a table surface F of a table T, figure 4 a detail of the coupling of a lamp head 2 on the lamp stem 3 of the lamp 1 and the Figures 5 and 6 show a special configuration of the foot area of this floor lamp 1 with a battery compartment.

As can be seen in the figures, the floor lamp 1 has, as a dominant element, an elongate, flat lamp stem 3, which is formed from a flat tube. At the The upper end of this lamp stem 3 is a joint 6 to which a lamp assembly 2 is attached in the form of a lamp head 2, which is also flat and acts as a bent extension of the flat tube.

On the side pointing downwards there is an illuminant unit 8 on the lamp head 2. This illuminant unit 8 is a group of LEDs with different color temperatures. These can be operated via a control arrangement, which is arranged here partly inside the lamp head 2 and partly inside the lamp stem 3, and a user interface 5 in the form of a control panel 5, so that the overall light emitted by the lamp unit 8 can be adjusted both in terms of brightness as well as the color temperature can be changed. In order to achieve an even mixture of the light from the various LEDs, the lamps can be covered with a diffuse glass or plastic plate. Versions with a simple, non-diffusing, transparent glass or plastic plate to protect the LEDs from unwanted contact or without a glass or plastic plate are also possible. The particularly aesthetic flat control panel 5 is arranged here on the front flat side 3V of the lamp stem 3 pointing in the direction of the lamp head 2 . Furthermore, the light control has a radio module in order to establish a connection with a smartphone or the like, so that the light can also be controlled with a suitable app or the like using such a device as a remote control. For the construction of the light source unit 8, the control, the remote control (e.g. by means of the app) and the various possible control functions, reference is once again made to the documents already mentioned above DE 10 2014 115 076 , the DE 10 2014 115 079 , the DE 10 2014 115 082 , the DE 10 2014 115 085 and the DE 10 2014 115 226 referred.

On the opposite side of the lamp unit 8 on the lamp head 2, d. H. on the top of the lamp head 2, there is a cooling fin arrangement 9, which serves to cool the light source of the light source unit 8 as well as possible.

The lamp head 2 is how figure 4 shows in detail, pivoted by the joint 6 on the lamp stem 3 in height about a first axis A 1 and can even be pivoted completely to the other side. In addition, the lamp head 2 is connected to the joint 6 via a further joint 7 so that the lamp head 2 can be tilted about a second axis A 2 perpendicular to the axis A 1 of the joint 6 . So if the lamp head 2 was pivoted about the axis A 1 on the other side of the lamp stem 3, he can also rotated about the axis A 2 in such a way that the lighting unit 8 on the lamp head 2 points downwards again.

At the lower end of the lamp stalk 3 there is a lamp base 4 in the form of a round tube, which is attached to the lamp stalk 3 on the underside like a kind of T-beam. This round tube rests on the floor B along a line running on its lateral surface, which line forms the contact surface K here. A tilting axis A K is formed by this linear contact surface, about which the lamp tilts in the tilting direction R K if it is not held in any other way. In principle, the lamp stem 3 could also tilt in the other direction. From a normal position, in which the lamp stem 3 points vertically upwards, the floor lamp 1 will of course tilt in the direction in which the lamp head 2 is located in relation to the lamp stem 3, since this lamp head 2 places the center of gravity on the side in question is placed.

As in the Figures 2 and 3 is shown, the floor lamp 1 is therefore constructed so that when it is placed on the floor B next to a table T, it tilts to one side so that it can be leaned against a table edge of a table top of the table T. To ensure that the angle of the lamp stem to the table surface is F (in figure 3 shown as the angle α between the lamp stem 3 and the floor B, since the angles are identical) is in a predetermined angular range and the floor lamp 1 is standing securely, is on the side of the lamp stem pointing to the table surface F, here on the front flat side 3V, on which is also the control panel 5 is located, a supporting element arrangement 10 is arranged. At the in the Figures 1 to 3 In the simple exemplary embodiment shown, the support element arrangement 10 is formed by a single support element 10 . This support element 10 is in this case a rubber-like bead which z. B. on the back pin or the like, which are pressed into corresponding holes in the front flat side 3V of the lamp stem, whereby the support element 10 is held on the front flat side of the lamp stem 3 3V.

Alternatively, a corresponding support element arrangement 10 could also be arranged on the rear flat side 3R of the lamp stem 3 in order to optionally lean the lamp stem 3 against the table in the other direction, for example if the control panel 5 is to be arranged on the outside of the table. In this case, the lamp head 2 can be pivoted about the axes A 1 , A 2 to the position on the other side, as described above.

The lamp unit 8 on the lamp head 2 is designed in such a way that a sufficiently large part of the table surface F is well illuminated. In the Figures 2 and 3 almost the entire table surface F is covered by the (main) light beam L of the lamp head 2.

The lamp head 2 is preferably designed such that, in an intended arrangement, when the lamp head is 60 cm above the table surface F, at least an area on the table surface F of 40×40 cm is optimally illuminated. Preferably, the extension or the opening angle of the light beam, which emanates from the lamp head 2, can be adjusted, e.g. B. by screens on the lamp head 2 and / or by switching on and off different lamps or lamp groups of the lamp unit 8.

Der Winkel α beträgt bevorzugt maximal 30°, besonders bevorzugt maximal 25°.The light stalk 3 is approximately 1.50 m from the lower edge of the base to the joint 6 (upper edge of the joint 6). The length of the lamp head 2 from the joint 7 to the tip is approx. 24 cm. The control panel 5 is at a height of approx. 90 cm (lower edge of the control panel to the lower edge of the lamp base) and extends over approx. 18 cm. The bead 10 forming the support element 10 is preferably arranged at a height of 77 cm (lower edge of the support element 10 to the lower edge of the lamp base). This is the ideal design for the lamp with a table height of 75 cm. The angle α between the lamp stem and the floor or between the lamp stem 3 and the table surface F is then roughly 20°. A setting of the angle α of at least 10°, preferably at least 15°, is preferred. The angle α is preferably at most 30°, particularly preferably at most 25°.

Dieser am Rundrohr befestigte Flachrohrabschnitt 30 bildet so das untere Ende des Leuchtenstiels 3.The lamp base 4 is in the Figures 5 and 6 shown again in more detail. As can be seen here, the lamp base 4 is essentially cylindrical. It is formed here by a round tube. This round tube is connected to the light stem 3 at one point on its jacket. For this purpose, a flat tube section 30 can be attached to the round tube, which forms a sleeve for mounting an upper elongated part of the lamp stem 3, or this flat tube section can also be tapered at the top and inserted into an end of the flat tube of the lamp shaft 3 that is open at the bottom. This flat tube section 30 attached to the round tube thus forms the lower end of the lamp stem 3.

The lamp base 4 or the round tube has a battery compartment for accommodating a battery arrangement 21 (hereinafter referred to as “battery” 21 for short). In figure 5 the Accu 21 is round rod-shaped with an outer diameter that matches the inner diameter of the Round tube is adjusted. This round tube, or the battery compartment in it, can be closed with a cover 22 at the front. On the other end is a socket 20 for plugging in a plug of a charging cable 25, in which a charger 24 is integrated. Around the socket 20 there is a ring-shaped LED lamp arrangement 23 here, the color of which can be varied. This serves as a charge indicator and shows, for example, green when the battery is fully charged, yellow when the battery is half charged and red when the battery still has a remaining reserve.

In order to be able to select the optimal position of the floor lamp more independently of the table height, the support element arrangement can also be arranged on the lamp stem so that it can be adjusted in height. Such a variant is in the Figures 7 to 9 shown where figure 7 the entire floor lamp shows figure 8 a detail concerning the support element arrangement 11 and figure 9 a detailed view of the lamp base 4 '.

In this second exemplary embodiment, the lamp stalk 3' is identical to that in the first exemplary embodiment according to FIGS Figures 1 to 6 built up.

Instead of a single bead 10 as the support element arrangement 10 as in the first exemplary embodiment, the support element arrangement 11 has a sleeve 13 here, which has a plurality of support elements 12 in the form of ribs 12 on one or both flat sides. Like this in figure 8 can clearly be seen, the uppermost rib 12 can also be thicker than the other ribs 12, for example. This cuff 13 is made of a rubber-like plastic, for example a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer). Preferably, the cuff 13 is transparent, as here. That inner dimension of the sleeve 13 is adapted to the outer dimension of the lamp stem 3' such that an external (minimum) effort is required to move the sleeve 13 along the longitudinal direction R L of the lamp stem 3'. Ie the cuff 13 cannot slip by itself.

In principle, stoppers could also be arranged at the top and bottom of the light stem in order to move the sleeve 13 only in a specific height range. It is usually sufficient if the cuff can be displaced in a height range between 75 cm and 85 cm.

This second embodiment also has a slightly different footer than the first embodiment. Here, the lamp base 4' is also in the form of a cylinder, for example as a round tube or as a round rod. However, since no battery compartment is required in the lamp base 4' itself, this cylinder can be made thinner than in the first exemplary embodiment. In addition, a rubber sleeve 34 or the like can be applied to the cylinder jacket at the respective ends in order to ensure a secure hold, in particular on smooth floors, for example on parquet floors or the like. The principle of tilting about this foot is the same as in the first embodiment.

No battery compartment is arranged in the lamp base 4' itself, but this is arranged in a connecting piece 31 of the lamp stem 3'. For this purpose, the connecting piece 31 is designed as a housing with two parts 31a, 31b. If these two parts 31a, 31b are coupled to one another, the user has access to the batteries and can also change them if necessary, if this is necessary at all. The electronics can also be accommodated in the housing in order to operate a charging status display 33 which is located at the top on a flat side of this connecting piece 31 for the lamp stem 3'. The state of charge display 33 here comprises a number of LEDs which are arranged in a row next to one another in the manner of a loading bar. Depending on the state of charge, one or more LEDs in the row light up. Here, for example, the lamp stem 3′ can have two cheeks at the lower end that extend as an extension of the narrow sides of the lamp stem 3′. These protrude into the connecting piece 31, with sufficient space remaining between the cheeks for accommodating the rechargeable batteries and the charge status display 33. On the narrow side of the housing there is a socket 32 for the charging cable 25.

Finally, it is pointed out once again that the devices described in detail above are merely exemplary embodiments which can be modified in a wide variety of ways by a person skilled in the art without departing from the scope of the invention. For example, it is of course possible to use a variable support element arrangement on a floor lamp according to the first embodiment, for example in the form of a collar, similar to that shown in the second embodiment, or vice versa to use the battery compartment according to the second embodiment in the floor lamp according to the first embodiment to train. Furthermore, the round tube in the lamp base 4 of the first exemplary embodiment can also have a rubber sleeve at the end for stability.

It is also possible to produce the floor lamp without a battery compartment, although the lamp can then only be operated on one cable. Furthermore, the use of the indefinite article "a" or "an" does not exclude the possibility that the characteristics in question can also be present more than once. Likewise, the terms "unit" and "module" do not exclude the possibility that these also consist of several sub-units, which may also be spatially separate.
