Claims (11)

  1. Hairstyling device (1) of the straightener type, comprising

    - a heat insulation means (10) having a support zone (9) intended to cover at least partially the distal end (8') of the treatment zone (8), the distal end (8') being opposite said gripping zone (7),
    an inner surface (101) of the heat insulation means (10) being arranged facing the outer surface (201) of said casing (21), and being mounted spaced from said outer surface (201).
  2. Device according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the inner surface (101) is spaced from the outer surface (201) by a minimum distance D which is between 0.5 mm and 4 mm.
  3. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it comprises a securing means (15, 25) making it possible to connect the heat insulation means (10) to said arm (2) permanently.
  4. Device according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the securing means (15, 25) is produced by at least one of the following means: screwing, heading, press-fitting, gluing.
  5. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the heat insulation means (10) mainly comprises a material of a heat conduction less than that of the casing (21).
  6. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the heat insulation means (10) comprises a cover (9') on the support zone (9).
  7. Device according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the cover (9') mainly comprises a material of a heat conduction less than that of the heat insulation means (10).
  8. Device according to the preceding claim, characterised in that said cover (9') is secured to the heat insulation means (10) by overmoulding.
  9. Device according to one of the three preceding claims, characterised in that the cover (9') has a grooved surface.
  10. Device according to one of the four preceding claims, characterised in that the cover (9') has a surface, of which the smallest width is between 10 mm and 45 mm.
  11. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the arm (2) comprises vaporisation means (7') and means for distributing steam (22) in the direction of a strand of hair.
