Claims (6)

  1. Method for registering and recording periods of rest of a driver of a utility vehicle,
    characterized
    in that the method for registering and recording periods of rest of a driver is carried out during an autonomous driving mode,
    in that the position and/or the movement profile of the driver's hands are/is registered in a driver's cab with respect to a steering wheel by means of at least one sensor and a registration and evaluation unit,
    in that the registered position and/or the registered movement profile of the driver's hands are/is evaluated in such a way that the times at which the driver's hands have been positioned away from the steering wheel are detected and registered as perceived periods of rest,
    in that the registration and evaluation unit is a wristwatch which is to be worn by the driver and has computer additional functions, what is referred to as a smartwatch,
    in that it is detected whether the driver's hands are positioned on the steering wheel and whether an even resting pulse of the driver is registered by the smartwatch and
    in that the time measuring device runs only if the hands are not resting on the steering wheel and a pulse display is present, and otherwise the time measuring system is stopped.
  2. Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that at least a minimum period, in particular a legally prescribed minimum period, is specified in which the driver's hands have to be continuously positioned away from the steering wheel in order to be detected and recorded as a perceived period of rest.
  3. Method according to Claim 1 or Claim 2, characterized in that in addition the position and/or the movement profile of the driver's body is registered, in particular with respect to a berth by means of at least one body sensor, and is recorded and evaluated in order to detect perceived periods of rest, wherein there is preferably provision that the at least one body sensor is assigned to a driver's cab of the utility vehicle, in particular of the utility vehicle which is embodied as a lorry.
  4. Method according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the time measuring system and/or the sensor system for registering medical data are integrated into the smartwatch.
  5. Method according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that fully perceived periods of rest and/or the period of rest which is currently incrementing and/or health data of the driver are recorded in the smartwatch in a such a way that they can be read out and/or are passed on to a positionally fixed control centre by means of remote data transmission.
  6. Utility vehicle for carrying out a method according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized
    in that the vehicle has equipment for an autonomous driving mode,
    in that the position and/or the movement profile of the driver's hands can be registered in the driver's cab with respect to a steering wheel by means of at least one sensor and a registration and evaluation unit,
    in that the registered position and/or the registered movement profile of the driver's hands can be evaluated in such a way that the times during an autonomous driving mode in which the driver's hands have been positioned away from the steering wheel can be detected and registered as perceived periods of rest,
    in that the registration and evaluation unit is a wristwatch which is to be worn by the driver and has additional computer functions, what is referred to as a smartwatch,
    in that it is detected whether the driver's hands are resting on the steering wheel and whether an even pulse of the driver is registered by the smartwatch, and
