Description

Stand der TechnikState of the art

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Verschließen von Vials mittels Kappen, wie beispielsweise Aluminiumkappen oder sogenannte Flip-Off-Kappen, welche ein Kunststoffkappenteil und ein Aluminiumkappenteil umfassen. Bei pharmazeutischen Füll- und Verschließmaschinen für Vials werden die Vials beispielsweise mittels eines Gummistopfens, welcher von einer Aluminiumkappe umgeben ist, oder mittels eines Gummistopfens, welcher von einer Aluminiumkappe mit einer zentralen Öffnung im Deckel und einem zusätzlichen Kunststoffdeckel (sogenannte Flip-Off-Verschlüsse) verschlossen. Hierbei werden die Aluminiumbereiche der Kappen jeweils an die Vials gebördelt. Für den Bördelvorgang wird das Vial üblicherweise auf einem angetriebenen Drehteller positioniert und gedreht. Hierbei wird dann die Bördelrolle mit dem Aluminiumbereich der Kappe in Kontakt gebracht und durch das angetriebene Vial über die Kappe mitgedreht. Für eine vernünftige Bördelung ist jedoch eine sichere Drehmomentübertragung auf die Kappe des Vials sehr wichtig, da die bereits rotierende Kappe die stehende Bördelrolle beschleunigen muss. Wenn die Bördelrolle hierbei nicht ausreichend angetrieben und mitgedreht wird, kann keine ausreichende Bördelqualität erreicht werden. Somit muss im Stand der Technik die Mitnahme der Bördelrolle durch die Kappe ständig überprüft werden, um eine ausreichende Bördelqualität der Kappe an dem Vial zu erreichen. Ein Beispiel einer derartigen Vorrichtung zum Verschließen von Vials ist aus der EP 0719727 B1 bekannt. Hierbei ist eine nicht angetriebene, schwenkbar vorgesehene Bördelrolle vorgesehen, die in einem Winkel zur Horizontalen angeordnet ist. Die Bördelrolle ist dabei mittels eines eigenen Bördelantriebs angetrieben. Dadurch muss kein Drehmoment mehr von einem rotierenden Vial über die zu bördelnde Kappe auf die Bördelrolle übertragen werden, sondern die Bördelrolle selbst wird mittels eines separaten Bördelantriebs angetrieben. Somit kann ein Durchrutschen der Kappe während des Bördelvorgangs vermieden werden. Weiterhin umfasst die Vorrichtung eine Neigungseinrichtung, um den Drehteller gegenüber der Horizontalebene zu neigen.     - an inclining mechanism (42) for inclining the rotary plate (40) with respect to a vertical direction.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the crimping mechanism (5) comprises at least one spring element, in order to pretension the crimping roller (51, 52).
  3. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the crimping mechanism (5) comprises a torque transmission unit (6) with a drive belt (60), which is arranged between the crimping drive (50) and the crimping roller (51, 52) .
  4. Device according to Claim 3, characterized in that the torque transmission unit (6) comprises an output wheel (61) of the crimping drive (50) and several deflection rollers (62, 63, 64) for deflecting the drive belt (60).
