Definitions

  • the invention relates to a piece of furniture with a pivotable part, in particular an office chair or a chair, and especially for use in connection with training or playing in a virtual reality environment, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the movement is not initiated by the user, but by motors, especially in response to a virtual environment, wherein the user visually perceives a non-existing environment by means of a helmet or glasses and the furniture on which he sits or lies, performs corresponding movements.
  • Office chairs have a height-adjustable support member, which is considered in this application belonging to the chassis, a seat and a back, which are rotatable about a common vertical axis, usually the vertical axis of the support member, and at least one horizontal axis individually or are pivotable in dependence on each other.

  • the moving part moves around a Momentanpol that is not baseline. Abstract
