Description

  • The invention relates to a prefabricated cable having at least one electrical line and at least one connected connector for a waterproof connector, wherein the line is electrically connected to a disposed in a contact carrier of the connector contact element, wherein the line in the region adjacent to the connector and the connector is enclosed in the region adjacent to the line with a water-tight encapsulation. In addition, the invention also relates to a connector for such a prefabricated cable.
  • Such a cable or a connector for such a cable is for example from the EP 1 122 840 A1 known. In this cable or connector an encapsulation for sealing the connector and the entry point of the lines is injected at the rear line entry region of the connector, so that the encapsulation encloses the connector and the lines in this area waterproof. In the manufacturing process of extrusion coating must be ensured that no injection material penetrates into the connector and in particular in the arranged in the connector electrical contact elements. For this purpose, elaborate encapsulation and / or sealing tools are used during the injection process. In particular, special windows are provided on the outer circumference of the connector, so that a sealing tool can penetrate into the connector during the injection process and thus prevents spray mass can flow to the contact elements during the injection process. However, this is expensive in the production.
  • The invention has for its object to provide a prefabricated cable with a connector and a connector for such a cable, in which the manufacturing process can be simplified and at the same time a reliable seal is made possible.
  • The object is achieved by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1 and claim 15. Characterized in that in a receiving opening of the contact carrier a plug formed as a separate part is inserted, and the line passes through the plug and into the contact carrier, and the encapsulation enclosing the plug at least partially, can be a complex sealing by special encapsulation and / or Sealing tools are dispensed with. The plug prevents penetration of the injection molding compound into the connector during the injection process.
  • In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the plug is divided at least into a first plug part and a second plug part along at least one parting plane. This allows easy insertion of the electrical wires in the plug. In particular, a first dividing plane runs at least partially parallel to the insertion direction of the plug and preferably at least partially centrally through the plug. This allows a simple insertion of the plug halves in the contact carrier of the connector.
  • In a further embodiment of the invention, a second dividing plane of the plug extends at an angle between 0 ° and 180 ° to the first dividing plane, preferably at right angles to the first dividing plane, and in particular at least partially centrally through the plug. This has the advantage to realize different connectors with different angles than angle connectors only by different plugs, each of which the same contact carrier can be used without adjustments. This allows the reuse of the same contact carrier with different angle connectors.
  • Advantageously, the plug parts in the insertion region of the plug on the mutually adjacent dividing surfaces opposite grooves which form a through hole for performing a respective line through the plug in the assembled state of the plug parts. In particular, the two plug parts on the inner circumference of the hose guide have opposing grooves for receiving and / or guiding the lines, which in the assembled state of the plug parts form the passage openings for performing a respective line through the inlet region of the plug. As a result, a particularly simple installation of the lines in the plug is made possible and given the lines a defined course through the plug.
  • Advantageously, the grooves are formed such that their inner peripheral surfaces cooperate with the outer peripheral surface of the line circumferentially sealing. In particular, peripherally cooperating circumferential sealing surfaces and / or sealing ribs are arranged on the inner circumference of the receiving opening of the contact carrier and on the outer circumference of the plug. This allows a particularly simple and effective seal against entry of the spray mass into the contact carrier or into the hose.
  • In particular, the plug parts are designed such that they pinch the lines in a mated state. This can be done in particular by the grooves. This allows a strain relief of the connection of the lines with the electrical contact elements.
  • In a further embodiment of the invention, the conduit is surrounded by a hose, wherein the plug has on its side facing the hose in a region of entry of the plug a hose guide for pushing one end of the hose. This has the advantage that the hose can be easily connected to the plug and thus in the encapsulation in a defined position. In addition, this allows for easy adjustment of the connector different hose sizes, since only the plug, but not the contact carrier must be adapted to the hose.
  • Preferably, the plug has a cavity through which the conduits pass, the plug having at least one window to the cavity at its outer periphery. This allows penetration of the spray mass into the plug, so that the extrusion coating is particularly well connected to the plug. In addition, the lines are additionally fixed and sealed inside the plug.

  • FIGS. 1a to 1c show different three-dimensional views and Figure 4d shows a longitudinal section of a first embodiment of a prefabricated cable 1 according to the invention or its parts.
  • The prefabricated cable 1 according to FIG. 1a includes in particular two electrical lines 3 and at least one arranged at one end of the lines 3 connector 5. The number of lines 3 is basically arbitrary. The plug connector 5 can in principle be designed as a plug receiving part or as a plug part. The connector 5 comprises a contact carrier 7 and a plug 9. The contact carrier 7 has in particular a connecting portion 11 with a contact receiving space. In the contact receiving space 3 electrically connected contact elements are arranged with the electrical lines. The contact elements are not shown and are in particular formed with connecting means as Crimpstecker or Crimpsteckhülse for connection to a wire of a line 3. The line 3 passes through the plug 9 and into the contact carrier 7 and in particular in the contact receiving space to the contact elements. The contact carrier 7 has in particular in the region of the connecting means of the contact elements on its outer circumference not shown window. For connecting the leads 3 to the contact elements, the ends of leads of the leads 3 are positioned in the connection means, wherein by means of a tool which engages through the windows, the connecting means are closed.
  • As in particular in Figure 1 b can be seen, the contact carrier 7 at its the electrical lines 3 side facing a receiving opening 10, in which the plug 9 is inserted into the contact carrier 7. Preferably, circumferentially cooperating sealing surfaces 13 are arranged on the inner circumference of the receiving opening 10 of the contact carrier 7 and on the outer circumference of the plug 9. Advantageously, 7 locking means are arranged on the outer circumference of the plug 9 and on the inner circumference of the contact carrier, which hold the plug 9 in an end position in the contact carrier 7 positively against withdrawal from the receiving opening 10. In particular, the contact carrier 7 has as latching means 14 on the outer circumference one or more latching windows for latching arranged on the outer circumference of the plug 9 locking tongues or latching steps.
  • In an advantageous embodiment, the plug 9 has on its outer circumference one or more circumferentially extending circumferential sealing ribs 16 which cooperate with the inner circumference of the contact carrier 7 and in particular with the inner contour of the receiving opening 10 circumferentially sealing.
  • As in particular from Figure 1c and 1d As can be seen, the plug 9 is preferably divided at least into a first plug part 9a and a second plug part 9b along a parting plane. The dividing plane runs in particular at least partially parallel to the insertion direction of the plug 9 and preferably at least partially centrally through the plug 9.
  • The two plug parts 9a, 9b have, in particular on the mutually adjacent dividing surfaces opposite grooves 17 which, in the assembled state of the plug parts 9a, 9b, a passage opening for performing in each case a line 3 (in Fig. 1c not shown) through the plug 9. It is particularly advantageous if the dividing plane of the plug 9 in the interior of a has in particular perpendicular to the insertion direction step-shaped offset, wherein the plug parts 9a, 9b have complementary pitch levels 18a, 18b. By the division stages 18a, 18b, an order of insertion of the plug parts 9a, 9b is defined in the receiving opening 10 of the contact carrier 7 during assembly of the plug 9. In the illustrated embodiment, first the first plug part 9a and then the second plug part 9b is inserted into the contact carrier 7 first.
  • The grooves 17 are formed such that their inner peripheral surfaces cooperate with the outer peripheral surface of the conduit 3 circumferentially sealing. In particular, the diameter of the inner circumference of the grooves 17 is adapted to the outer circumference of the lines 3. Advantageously, the inner diameter of the passage openings formed by the grooves 17 for the lines 3 is smaller than the outer diameter of the lines 3, so that when assembling the plug parts 9a, 9b, the elasticity of the insulation of the lines 3 is utilized for an enhanced sealing effect. In addition, the plug 9 also acts as a strain relief for the electrical connection of the lines 3 with the contact elements. The plug 9 is preferably made of polyamide.
  • For additional sealing of the cable 1 and / or for fixing the plug 9 and the lines 3 on the contact carrier 7, the cable 1 has an encapsulation, not shown. The encapsulation is arranged circumferentially around the regions of the lines 3 resting against the stopper 9, around the stopper 9 and preferably around a part of the contact carrier 7 adjoining the stopper 9. The encapsulation consists in particular of polyamide. Due to the sealing effect of the inner surfaces of the grooves 17 and the outer peripheral surfaces of the lines 3 and by the sealing surfaces and sealing ribs on the outer circumference of the plug and on the outer circumference of the contact carrier penetration of the spray mass is prevented in the contact carrier 7.
