Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for operating a washing machine and a washing machine.
- textiles are usually sorted according to color and suitable washing program or suitable treatment. Due to the different treatment of the laundry, there are several wash cycles for "insensitive” to "very sensitive” textiles, which must be divided into cotton, easy-care, shirts, delicates, etc., because the washing programs are tailored to the needs of the textiles.
- the temperatures, washing rhythm, rinsing and washing levels and spin speeds in the individual washing programs are adapted to the sensitivity level of the textiles.
- the suds temperature must be brought to the selected temperature several times for the subsequent wash cycles.
- the invention therefore addresses the problem of providing a method for operating a washing machine and a washing machine with which textiles of different sensitivity can be washed in a single washing program.
- the invention relates to a method for operating a washing machine with a tub for holding washing liquid, a drum for holding laundry, a loading opening for loading the drum with the laundry and a door for closing the loading opening, having a washing phase with the steps of supplying the washing liquid into the tub up to a first wash liquid level and washing the laundry in a first partial wash phase with a first partial wash phase duration, performing a first wash stop during which the door of the washing machine is unlocked to open, which closes the loading opening during the first partial wash phase, and when a refill of laundry into the drum during the first washing stop is activated, supplying washing liquid into the tub up to a second washing liquid level which is higher than the first washing liquid level and washing the laundry in a second partial washing phase he second partial wash phase duration.
- the above steps are performed sequentially in the order shown.
- the energy consumption of the washing machine can be reduced by using the energy already introduced in the first partial washing phase for the second partial washing phase.
- water and time are saved because several rinsing and spinning processes are not carried out for the partial wash phases.
- washing liquid is to be understood as meaning water which optionally has detergent and/or care products.
- washing machine is to be understood as meaning a washing machine such as a washing machine and a combi-device such as a washer-dryer.
- the washing machine can be a washing machine used in a private household or used commercially.
- the first part-washing step is continued with the second part-washing phase duration if no reloading of the laundry into the drum is activated during the first wash stop.
- the first partial wash step is preferably performed over the first and second partial wash phase durations and then the first wash stop is performed. This ensures that the laundry is not washed for too short a period of time in the first partial washing step if laundry is not to be added.
- the method has the steps: performing a second wash stop after the end of the second partial wash phase duration, during which the door of the washing machine is unlocked to open it, and if adding laundry to the drum during the second wash stop is activated, supplying Washing liquid in the tub to a third washing liquid level, which is higher than the first or second washing liquid level, and washing the laundry in a third partial washing phase a third partial wash phase duration; or if no adding laundry to the drum is activated during the second wash stop, continuing the first or second partial wash phase with the third partial wash phase duration.
- This configuration allows laundry to be washed with two or three different degrees of sensitivity. For example, non-sensitive, sensitive and/or very sensitive textiles can be washed together in a washing phase.
- the washing phase can have one to three partial washing phases, depending on whether the user has set before or during the start of the washing program that he wants to add laundry once or twice or how many partial washing phases the user has programmed.
- Adding laundry to the drum during the first or second wash stop is activated if the user has entered or programmed this into the washing machine before or when the washing program is started. For example, when setting the washing program, he can specify that he wants to wash two or three types of fabric from the group of insensitive, sensitive and very sensitive fabrics. Alternatively or additionally, when setting the washing program, the user can specify that two or three partial washing phases should be carried out at different washing temperatures, for example at 60° C., 40° C. or 30° C.
- a speed during the first or second wash stop is preferably relatively low to 0 min -1 .
- a duration of the first or second washing stop is preferably dependent on the washing temperatures of the first, second or third partial washing phase.
- the washing machine is preferably in the wash-waiting rhythm during the first and second wash stops.
- a rotational speed in rotation phases decreases with an increasing number of partial washing phases
- a rotational phase duration of the rotating phases decreases with an increasing number of partial washing phases
- a rotational pause duration of rotational pauses between the Rotation phases are carried out, with an increasing number of partial washing phases.
- the first, second and third partial washing phases are carried out in the order shown if they are activated respectively.
- the first partial washing phase is used to wash insensitive textiles and therefore preferably has a strong washing mechanism, which is characterized by relatively high maximum speeds, relatively short pauses in rotation and relatively long rotary phases
- the second partial washing phase is used to wash sensitive textiles and therefore preferably a normal one Having washing mechanics, which is characterized by medium speeds, equal proportions of pauses in rotation and phases of rotation
- the third Part washing phase is used for washing very delicate fabrics and therefore preferably has a low washing mechanics, which is characterized by relatively low speeds, relatively long breaks in rotation and relatively short rotation phases.
- the washing liquid level is preferably low in the first partial washing phase, medium in the second partial washing phase and high in the third partial washing phase, seen relative to one another. This ensures that non-sensitive textiles are washed the longest and very delicate textiles are washed the shortest and most gently.
- a washing temperature decreases during the first, second and/or third partial washing phase as the number of partial washing phases increases.
- the maximum washing temperature in the second partial washing phase is preferably less than or equal to the maximum washing temperature in the first partial washing phase.
- the washing temperature in the third partial washing phase is preferably less than or equal to the maximum washing temperature in the second partial washing phase. This ensures that delicate or very delicate textiles that require a low washing temperature are not washed at a higher temperature.
- washing liquid is pumped out of the tub during the first and/or second wash stop.
- the door is preferably only unlocked after pumping out. This ensures that no washing liquid flows out of the tub through the loading opening into an area outside the washing machine when the user opens the door of the washing machine, in particular a front loader, to add laundry.
- the washing liquid is pumped out to a washing liquid level p ist that is lower than a washing liquid level p door - 10 mm water column, where p door is the washing liquid level that is in the tub at the lower level of the door, based on the operational installation position of the washing machine. This ensures that no washing liquid spills out of the washing machine when the door is opened.
- the duration of the first, second and/or third partial washing phase depends on the degree of soiling of the laundry associated with the partial washing phase.
- the degree of soiling preferably changes the partial wash phase duration of the corresponding first, second and/or third partial wash phase by a factor in the range from 0.5 to 1.5.
- selectable degrees of soiling such as "light”, “normal” and “heavy” are stored in the washing machine, which the user can assign to the partial washing phases to be carried out during the washing phase.
- At least one rinsing and/or spinning phase is carried out after the washing phase, with a washing liquid level in the tub during the at least one rinsing phase and a speed of the drum during the at least one spinning phase depending on the washing liquid level and the speed of the drum during the last partial washing phase carried out is.
- the wash phase is preferably the only wash phase of the wash program.
- the washing program preferably has an optional detection phase for detecting the batch of laundry, the washing phase, at least one rinsing phase and a spinning phase. More preferably, the phases represent the complete course of the washing program in the order shown.
- the washing phase has the first, second and/or third partial washing phase.
- Each partial washing phase has an optional detection section for detecting the batch of laundry, a feeding section for feeding the washing liquid into the tub, a heating section for heating the washing liquid to the washing temperature required for the partial washing phase and a washing section for washing the laundry and an optional washing stop section for unlocking the door .
- the invention further relates to a washing machine with a tub for holding washing liquid, a drum for holding laundry, a heating element for heating the washing liquid, a loading opening for loading the drum with laundry, a door for closing the loading opening and a control or regulating device, which is designed and/or set up to carry out a method according to one or more of the embodiments described above.
- the washing machine has a tub (not shown) for holding washing liquid (not shown), a drum (not shown) for holding laundry 51, 52, 53, a loading opening (not shown) for loading the drum with laundry 51, 52 , 53 and a door (not shown) for closing the loading port.
- step 0 marking the start of the washing program and not part of the method according to the invention:
- step 0 the user of the washing machine enters the following data into the washing machine:
- Laundry 51 in the form of insensitive textiles with a normal degree of soiling should at a washing temperature of 60°C
- laundry 52 in the form of delicate, heavily soiled textiles should also be washed at a washing temperature of 40°C
- laundry 53 in the form of very delicate, lightly soiled textiles should also be washed at a washing temperature of 30° C are washed, and starts a washing program with a washing phase, which has a first, second and third partial washing phase.
- the user has put laundry 51 into the drum of the washing machine.
- the washing liquid is fed into the tub up to a first washing liquid level.
- the washing liquid is heated to the washing temperature of 60° C. and the laundry 51 is washed with a first partial washing phase duration and the first washing liquid level in the tub.
- a first washing stop is carried out, during which the door of the washing machine is unlocked for opening, which closes the loading opening during the first partial washing phase 1.
- the washing liquid is at least partially pumped out of the tub.
- step 1 By entering the data in step 0, the user has activated adding laundry 52 to the drum during the first wash stop 13 . The user can now add laundry 52 during the first wash stop.
- a controller or regulator queries whether the second partial washing phase 2 has been activated by the user in step 0. If the control were to determine in step 41 that no second partial washing phase 2 was activated by the user in step 0, which is not the case here, then step 42 would directly follow step 41 .
- step 2 If, as in the present case, the second partial wash phase 2 has been activated by the user in step 0, the second partial wash phase 2 is started and the process continues with step 21, in which washing liquid is fed into the tub up to a second washing liquid level, which is higher than the first washer fluid level.
- step 22 the washing liquid is heated to the washing temperature of 40° C. and the laundry 51, 52 is washed within a second partial washing phase duration.
- step 23 a second washing stop is carried out, during which the door of the washing machine is unlocked for opening, which closes the loading opening during the second partial washing phase 2.
- step 23 the washing liquid is at least partially pumped out of the tub.
- the user can now add the laundry 53 .
- the controller queries whether the third partial washing phase 3 has been activated by the user. If the user has activated the third partial washing phase in step 0, as in the present case If this is the case, the third partial washing phase 3 is started and the process is continued with step 31, in which washing liquid is fed into the tub up to a third washing liquid level which is higher than the second washing liquid level.
- step 32 the washing liquid is heated to the washing temperature of 30° C. and the laundry 51, 52, 53 is washed within a third partial washing phase duration.
- Step 32 is followed by a step 6 in which at least one rinsing and spinning phase is carried out. If the control or regulation had determined in step 42 that no third partial wash phase 3 had been activated by the user in step 0, which is not the case here, then step 6 would follow step 42 directly.
- the washing liquid is first pumped out of the tub, then washing liquid in the form of water is admitted into the tub and the laundry 51, 52, 53 is moved in it and finally the washing liquid is pumped out again, with intermediate spinning if necessary.
- the drum is rotated at a speed at which the laundry 51, 52, 53 is in contact with a casing of the drum, while washing liquid is pumped out of the tub.
