Definitions

  • the invention relates to a container for the collection of waste with emptying by turning according to the preamble of claim 1, more particularly a container intended to facilitate selective sorting.
  • bins In general, to allow a user to sort his waste, several bins are available nearby, each of which is intended to accommodate a type of waste. Thus, in a manner known per se, there is, in the same location, a bin whose function is to collect waste mainly made of glass, a bin whose function is to collect waste mainly made of plastic and a bin whose function is to collect waste, mainly paper. In this configuration, the number of bins is relatively large.
  • bins are also used for the collection of waste which include a dividing wall which delimits two distinct spaces. Each space is thus dedicated to the collection of one type of waste. For example, one of the spaces is dedicated to the collection of glass while the other space is intended to collect paper. In this configuration, the number of bins necessary to allow the user to sort his waste is reduced.
  • this type of tray presents handling difficulties for an operator who has to empty the tray. Indeed, as the same bin includes waste of at least two different types, simply distinguished by a separating wall, these different types of waste can be mixed during the emptying of the bin. These errors in the collection harm the efficiency of selective sorting.
  • An object of the invention is to provide a container which facilitates the collection of waste with a view to their selective sorting.
  • a container for the collection of waste with overturning comprising a tank, a dividing wall delimiting a first and a second separate waste storage spaces in the tank and a lid which comprises a first and a second part capable of occupying an open position and a closed position, arranged in such a way as to occupy the open position when the container occupies an emptying position and so that, in this open position, they each define a distinct trajectory exit of the waste coming respectively from the first and second spaces separate storage compartments, characterized in that one of the first (28, 108) or the second part (30, 110) has a concave shape, and the other a planar shape.
  • the lid of the bin is used to limit the risk of mixing between different types of waste when collecting the waste stored in the bin.
  • the cover therefore fulfills two functions, the usual function of a cover and a waste guide function when emptying the tray. It therefore facilitates the emptying of the container while greatly limiting the probability of seeing waste of two different types mix during emptying.
  • the second part directs the flow of one type of waste away from the other flow of waste in order to once again reduce the risk of mixing between waste of different types.
  • the shapes of the first and second parts define the trajectories of the waste.
  • the first and second parts are arranged to move from the open position to the closed position when the tray moves from the tray emptying position to a waste collection position.
  • the operator when emptying the bin in a dump truck, the operator simply needs to grab the bin, using gripping means carried by the truck, such as a clamp or a comb, to bring the bin closer to the dump , to pass the tray into an emptying position, that is to say to make it undergo a rotation on itself by 135° for example, and the first and second parts pass by themselves from the position closed to the open position.
  • gripping means carried by the truck such as a clamp or a comb
  • At least one of the first and second parts is capable of passing from the open position to the closed position and vice versa by means of a rotation between two extreme positions, the two extreme positions form between them a angle less than 90°.
  • the first or the second part therefore passes, under the effect of the force of gravity, from the open position to the closed position when the tray passes from the emptying position of the tray to the waste collection position.
  • the tray comprises at least one return spring fixed to the tank and to at least one of the first and second parts so as to move it from the open position to the closed position when the tray moves from the tray emptying position to the waste collection position.
  • the first and second parts are arranged in such a way that the first part can pass from the open position to the closed position and vice versa independently of the position of the second part, while the second part can pass from the closed position to the closed position. open position only when the first part occupies the open position.
  • the first and second parts have complementary dimensions so as to cover an opening of the tank when the first and second parts occupy the closed position.
  • the first and second parts are sufficient in themselves to form the lid.
  • the first part is arranged so as to be located in the extension of the partition wall when the first part occupies the open position.
  • the separating wall and the first part of the cover, which extends it, therefore form a single and unique wall which makes it possible to generate two separate waste streams, on either side of this wall. The probability of different types of waste mixing together is therefore further reduced.
  • the arrangement of the two parts consists in that the first part is arranged so as to partially cover the second part when the first and second parts occupy the closed position.
  • the arrangement of the two parts consists in one end of the first part forming an abutment blocking rotation of the second part when the first part occupies the closed position.
  • the position of the second part is therefore also constrained in a simple way.
  • the axes of rotation of the first and second parts are in the same plane, preferably the plane includes the separating wall.
  • the axes of rotation of the first and second parts coincide.
  • one of the first and second parts is shaped so as to leave a passage for introducing waste when it occupies the closed position.
  • the tray is therefore easier to use.
  • a first end of the first part is fixed to the partition wall and a second opposite end of the first part is free to rotate with respect to this first end.
  • the partition wall can therefore be used to fix the first part of the cover.
  • the manufacture of the container is therefore simplified.
  • the first and the second parts are each shaped so as to leave a passage allowing the introduction of waste when the first and second parts occupy the closed position.
  • the tray is therefore easier to use. It is for example possible to introduce waste into the tank without the need to open the first part, therefore without risk of seeing the second part open unexpectedly, for example under the effect of the wind.
  • a bottom of the tank comprises at least one rib whose thickness is such that the separating wall is held at the bottom of the tank in the rib.
  • the assembly formed by the separating wall and the first and second parts is removable with respect to the tank.
  • This assembly can therefore be easily replaced in the event of deterioration.
  • the container 10 comprises a tank 12 and a cover 14.
  • the tank 12 has an opening, of approximately square shape, on its upper end, in the vertical direction.
  • the tank 12 comprises, on a contour delimiting the opening, a collar 16 which makes it possible to mechanically reinforce the tank 12, in particular for lifting when emptying the tank.
  • the flange 16 serves as a support for the contours of the cover 14 on the flange 16.
  • a handle 18 is fixed so as to allow easy gripping of the container 10 by an operator.
  • the lower part, in the vertical direction, of the tank 12 can be of any type.
  • Tray 10 may in particular comprise one or more wheels.
  • the tank 12 is carried by two wheels 20.
  • the tank here is essentially made of plastic, namely polyethylene, preferably partially or completely recycled, but can, according to a variant of this embodiment embodiment, include another plastic material or metal.
  • the tank 12 comes from an injection molding process, it is in one piece.
  • the tray 10 comprises a partition wall 22, of substantially planar shape.
  • This dividing wall 22 delimits, in the tank 12, two separate spaces, a first space 24 and a second space 26, for storing waste.
  • the separation wall 22 is fixed, at the bottom of the tank and around the flange 16, by means which will be explained later.
  • the dimensions of the separation wall 22 are adapted so that it defines, in the tank 12, two compartments which do not communicate with each other and so that a waste, even of small size, introduced into the one of the compartments 24, 26 cannot reach the other compartment 24, 26, even when the tray 10 is turned over, for example to be emptied.
  • the dividing wall 22 defines, in the tank 12, two separate waste storage spaces whose volumes are equivalent.
  • the separating wall 22 can be positioned in the tank 12 so that one of the spaces 24, 26 occupies 60% of the volume of the tank 12 and the other 40%, or even so that that one of the spaces 24, 26 occupies 70% of the volume of the tank 12, and the other 30%.
  • the respective volumes of the two spaces are not characteristics limitations of the invention.
  • the volume of the spaces 24, 26 can be adapted to the average rate of accumulation of a type of waste.
  • the position of the partition wall 22 can be adjusted so that the space 24 occupies 70% of the volume of the tank 12 and the space 26, 30%. Then, the space 24 can be intended to collect plastic materials, while the space 26 can be intended to collect glass.
  • the lid 14 of the container 10 comprises a first part 28 and a second part 30.
  • the first 28 and second 30 parts are capable of occupying an open position, shown in figure 2B , and a closed position, illustrated in figure 1 .
  • the lid 14 covers the opening of the tank 12.
  • the first 28 and second 30 parts have complementary dimensions adapted to cover the opening of the tank 12
  • the first part 28 of the cover 14 allows the introduction of waste into the first waste storage space 24 and the second part 30 of the cover 14 allows the introduction of waste into the second waste storage space 26 of the tank 12 .
  • the second part 30 of the cover 14 and an outer face of the flange 16 are shaped so as to leave a passage 32 allowing the user to introduce waste into the second space 26 of the tank 12, when the second part 30 of the cover 14 occupies the closed position.
  • This arrangement is possible due to the "cap" shape of the second part 30 of the cover 14.
  • the first part 28 of the cover 14 has a substantially planar shape, and when it occupies the closed position, the user cannot introduce waste into the first space 24 of the tank 12.

  • the user can introduce waste into the two compartments of the tray 10 when the first 28 and second 30 parts of the cover 14 occupy the closed position.
  • the passage in the open position of the first 28 and second 30 parts is then only required to empty the tray 10.
  • the first part 28 of the cover 14 can enter into rotation about an axis located in a plane which is that of the partition wall 22, to pass from the closed position to the open position and reciprocally.
  • a first end of the first part 28 of the cover 14 is thus fixed to the edge of the partition wall 22 which is located substantially at the level of the opening of the tank 12, in the vertical direction.

This passage from the closed position to the open position is only done when it is necessary to empty the tray 100. The use of the tray 100 is therefore simpler.
  • One end of the first part 108 of the lid 106 has a shape complementary to an end of the second part 110 of the lid 106 so that the second part 110 is prevented from moving from the closed position to the open position as long as the first part 108 is in the closed position.
