Description

The present invention relates to a needle board for use in a needling machine for needling a fabric, such as a nonwoven, fabric or fabric.

When needling textile fabrics, in particular nonwovens, it is desirable to achieve as uniform as possible needling without thereby forming patterns in the textile fabric. It has proven to be advantageous when rows of needles are arranged in herringbone pattern, and not only in rows or columns, which extend in the longitudinal and transverse direction of the needle board. Nevertheless, in particular in the case of a large feed-per-stroke ratio, there are sometimes streaks or patterns in the needle-punched textile fabrics.

The present invention has for its object to provide a needle board for use in a needle machine for needling a textile fabric, with a uniform needled textile fabric is formed even at a large feed-per-stroke ratio or over a larger feed range of the needle machine.

This object is solved by the features of claim 1.

According to the invention, the needle board for use in a needle machine for needling a fabric has a plurality of rows of needles arranged obliquely to a longitudinal direction of the needle board corresponding to a conveying direction of the fabric to be needled in the needle machine. In this case, an amount of the angle of the second needle rows to the longitudinal direction of the needle board is different to an amount of the angle of the first rows of needles to the longitudinal direction of the needle board.

By varying the amount of the angle and the resulting unequal distribution of the needles in the needle board, the formation of patterns in the needled fabric can be prevented even at high conveying speeds of the textile fabric in the needle machine in the vast number of cases.

Preferably, the rows of needles are arranged in blocks, wherein all rows of needles of a block are arranged parallel to each other.

For further homogenization of the stitching pattern in needled textile fabric contributes when the needle rows or blocks of rows of needles are arranged in a herringbone pattern.

A particularly homogeneous puncture pattern is achieved when the rows of needles are arranged such that an image of the rows of needles projected in or against the longitudinal direction of the needle board in a transverse direction of the needle board perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the needle board provides at least sections equal transverse distances between the individual needle images ,

In order to obtain a sufficient puncture density, the transverse distances between the individual needle images are between 0.05 mm and 2.5 mm, preferably between 0.1 mm and 1.5 mm, particularly preferably between 0.2 mm and 1.0 mm.

The rows of needles are preferably arranged such that an image of the rows of needles projected in a transverse direction of the needle board, which is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the needle board, in the longitudinal direction of the needle board at least in sections provides different longitudinal distances between the individual needle images. If the needles in all rows of needles are equidistant from each other, this is automatically due to the difference in the angle of the rows of needles with respect to the longitudinal direction of the needle board. Typically, all of the rows of needles of a block of rows of needles are juxtaposed such that the same needles of each row of needles together form a transverse line. It follows, in turn, that the needle images within a block of rows of needles have the same longitudinal distances from each other.

The needle images within a block of first rows of needles have longitudinal spacings of 0.5 mm to 20 mm, preferably 1.0 mm to 15 mm, particularly preferably 2.0 mm to 5.0 mm.

The needle images within a block of second rows of needles have longitudinal spacings of 0.3 mm to 15 mm, preferably 0.7 mm to 10 mm, particularly preferably 1.5 mm to 4.0 mm.

It has proven to be particularly preferable if the magnitude of the angle of the first rows of needles to the longitudinal direction of the needle board is between 10 ° and 30 °, preferably between 15 ° and 25 °, particularly preferably between 17 ° and 23 °.

It has also proven to be advantageous if the amount of the angle of the second rows of needles to the longitudinal direction of the needle board between 25 ° and 65 °, preferably between 30 ° and 60 °, more preferably between 42 ° and 48 °.

Usually, a row of needles has between 5 and 40 needles.

In a preferred embodiment, the needles of each row of needles are connected to each other and thus form a needle module which is arranged in a slot of the needle board.

Further features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description with reference to the drawings.
Fig. 1
is a plan view of a section of an embodiment of a needle board according to the invention; and
Fig. 2
is a top view of the detail X from Fig. 1 ,

In Fig. 1 an embodiment of the needle board according to the invention is shown in plan view. The individual needles 2 of the needle board are arranged in needle rows 6, 7 and shown in this plan view as dots. These needles 2 project with their tips into the plane of the drawing beyond the base body 4 of the needle board. In the illustrated embodiment, a row of needles 6, 7 comprises about 20 needles. Usually, a row of needles 6, 7 comprises between 5 and 40 needles.

For the attachment of the needles 2 on the base body 4 of the needle board there are a variety of ways that are known in the art. This includes, in particular, the individual assembly of bores of the main body 4 of the needle board, each with individual needles 2. It is also possible, as in Fig. 1 It is shown that the individual needles 2 of a row of needles 6, 7 are connected together in a needle module 8 are, which in turn is inserted as a unit in a slot 10 of the base body 4 of the needle board. In each of these cases rows of needles 6, 7 are formed.

The rows of needles 6, 7 are preferably arranged in blocks 12, 13. The needle rows 6, 7 of these blocks 12, 13 are again arranged in the longitudinal direction L of the needle board in a herringbone pattern. This is an arrangement in which the rows of needles 6, 7 of the individual blocks 12, 13 are arranged obliquely to the longitudinal direction L of the needle board, in such a way that the angle of all needle rows 6, 7 of a block 12, 13 to the longitudinal direction L of Needle board has a certain sign (+ or -) and the angle of all rows of needles 6, 7 of a longitudinal direction L adjoining block 12, 13 has a reverse sign to it. Often, successive rows of needles 6, 7 have the same amount of this angle, whereby a homogenous herringbone pattern can be formed in parts of the needle board.

In the illustrated needle board the Fig. 1 is distinguished between first rows of needles 6, which are combined in first blocks 12, and second rows of needles 7, which are combined in second blocks 13. Out Fig. 1 It will be understood that all rows of needles 6, 7 of a block 12, 13 are arranged parallel to one another. In addition, the needle rows 6, 7 of a block 12, 13 ideally equal needle spacings in the direction of extension of the needle rows 6, 7 and viewed in the longitudinal direction L of the needle board, start and end at the same length. In the transverse direction Q of the needle board, the blocks 12, 13 may extend over the entire width of the needle board or only over portions thereof.

The following angles α, β always refer to the smaller of the two cutting angles of a row of needles 6, 7 with a straight line running in the longitudinal direction L of the needle board. The amount of the angle β of second rows of needles 7 to the longitudinal direction L of the needle board is different from the amount of the angle α of first rows of needles 6 to the longitudinal direction L of the needle board. The amount of the angle α of the first rows of needles 6 to the longitudinal direction L of the needle board is between 10 ° and 30 °, preferably between 15 ° and 25 °, more preferably between 17 ° and 23 °. The amount of the angle β of the second rows of needles 7 to the longitudinal direction L of the needle board is between 25 ° and 65 °, preferably between 30 ° and 60 °, more preferably between 42 ° and 48 °.

The rows of needles 6, 7 are arranged such that a projection 14 of the needle rows 6, 7 projected in the transverse direction Q of the needle board, which is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction L of the needle board, at least in sections in the longitudinal direction L of the needle board has different longitudinal distances L1, L2 between the two individual needle images 16 supplies. The needle images 16 within a block 12, 13 of needle rows 6, 7 in this case have the same longitudinal distances L1, L2 to each other. In the present case, the needle images 16 within a block 12 of first rows of needles 6 have longitudinal spacings L1 relative to each other, while the needle images 16 within a block 13 of second rows of needles 7 have longitudinal spacings L2 relative to each other. The needle images 16 within a block 12 of first rows of needles 6 have longitudinal spacings L1 of 0.5 mm to 20 mm, preferably 1.0 mm to 15 mm, particularly preferably 2.0 mm to 5.0 mm to each other. The needle images 16 within a block 13 of second rows of needles 7 have longitudinal distances L2 of 0.3 mm to 15 mm, preferably 0.7 mm to 10 mm, particularly preferably 1.5 mm to 4.0 mm to each other.

It is particularly preferred if the rows of needles 6, 7 are arranged in such a way that an image 18 of the rows of needles 6, projected in or against the longitudinal direction L of the needle board, at least in sections, preferably over a large or the entire area, in the transverse direction Q of the needle board. same transverse distances T between the needle images 20 provides. This is best from the enlarged view of the detail X in Fig. 2 seen. The transverse distances T between the individual needle images 20 are between 0.05 mm and 2.5 mm, preferably between 0.1 mm and 1.5 mm, more preferably between 0.2 mm and 1.0 mm.

It will be clear that the configuration of the needle board can be modified in many ways. This applies both to the number of needles 2 of each row of needles 6, 7, the angles α and β of the rows of needles 6, 7 to the longitudinal direction L of the needle board, the number of rows of needles 6, 7 within a block 12, 13, the spacing of the individual needles 2 within a row of needles 6, 7 to each other or the distances of individual blocks 12, 13 of rows of needles 6, 7 to each other. Likewise, it is conceivable to realize within a needle row 6, 7 different distances between the individual needles 2 to each other.

The number of blocks 12, 13 of first and second rows of needles 6, 7 is as variable as their arrangement with each other. In Fig. 1 five blocks 12, 13 are shown, three blocks 12 first Needle rows 6 and two blocks 13 second rows of needles 7. The blocks 12 first rows of needles 6 are arranged sequentially, as well as the blocks 13 second rows of needles 7. It would also be conceivable, the blocks 12, 13 first and second rows of needles 6, 7 in alternating or to arrange any other order.

Finally, in Fig. 1 the rows of needles 6, 7 of the blocks 12, 13 arranged in the longitudinal direction L of the needle board in a herringbone pattern. It would also be conceivable to provide the oblique rows of needles 6, 7 in a different arrangement, eg two or more consecutive blocks 12, 13 at a positive angle to the longitudinal direction L and at least one other block 12, 13 at a negative angle to the longitudinal direction L or vice versa ,

The invention has hitherto been described in terms of blocks 12, 13 of rows of needles 6, 7 arranged in a herringbone arrangement with respect to each other. Likewise, rows of needles 6, 7 could be strung together in a herringbone pattern without forming blocks 12, 13.
