TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The invention has for its object to show a tray with the features of the preamble of claim 1, which is indeed inexpensive to produce, but still meets high functional and optical requirements.

SOLUTION

The object of the invention is achieved by a tray with the features of independent claim 1. The dependent claims 2 to 13 relate to preferred embodiments of the tray according to the invention.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In a tray having a bottom plate having a top, a bottom and an outer periphery, a frame which includes the bottom plate on its outer periphery and which abuts the underside of the bottom plate, and a connection member which is disposed between the bottom plate and the frame , The connecting element has a first subregion lying in the horizontal direction in front of the outer circumference and a second subregion covering the outer circumference at the upper side of the base plate. According to the invention, the connection element is fixed to the base plate by material and / or positive connection, while it is fixed to the frame by pure frictional connection.

In the tray according to the invention, the frame may comprise the bottom plate in the horizontal on all sides. However, this is not a mandatory feature of the tray according to the invention. It is sufficient if the frame engages two opposite vertical sides of the bottom plate to the bottom plate. In this and any other context of the present specification and the appended claims, "vertical side of the floor panel" means only the area that extends transversely to one of the four viewing directions from the front, from the back, from the right and from the left to the horizontally oriented floor panel. In the tray according to the invention, the frame can rest on the connection element on the underside of the bottom plate. For this purpose, the connecting element then has a third outer circumference of the base plate to the underside of which overlapping portion. With such a third subregion, a positive-locking seating of the connecting element on the bottom plate can also be achieved. Preferably, however, the connection element does not comprise such a third subregion, but consists exclusively of its first subregion located in front of the outer circumference of the base plate and its second subregion covering the outer circumference on the upper side of the base plate. Then the frame lies directly on the underside of the bottom plate. With the frame, the connection element is not connected positively or cohesively. Rather, it is stuck solely by adhesion to the frame. This allows the simple manufacture of the tray according to the invention by pressing the bottom plate with the connecting element fixed thereto from above into the frame. The second portion of the connecting element forms a covering the transition between frame and bottom plate seal, while the first Part of the connection element ensures a horizontally play-free seat of the bottom plate in the frame on their investment with their underside on the frame.

Preferably, the connection element between the outer circumference of the bottom plate and planar, substantially vertically extending contact surfaces of the frame under tension. The contact surfaces, which may have a slight opening angle of a few degrees away from the base plate in order to facilitate the impressions of the base plate with the connection element, are thus kept extremely simple. They offer the connecting element no attack surfaces for positive engagement, but which is not intended in the tray according to the invention. The horizontal bias, under which the connection element is between the outer periphery of the bottom plate and the vertical contact surfaces of the frame, on the one hand provides the play-free seat of the bottom plate in the frame and on the other hand, a sufficient holding force for the bottom plate in the frame. Even if the support of the tray according to the invention takes place on the bottom plate, the connection between the base plate and the frame by the frictional connection on the connection element is sufficiently resilient.

Preferably, the connection element is provided everywhere where the frame comprises the bottom plate. Therefore, when the frame comprises the bottom plate in the horizontal on all sides, the connecting element preferably runs between the frame and the bottom plate around the entire outer circumference of the bottom plate.

The abutment of the frame on the underside of the bottom plate is provided in at least two regions on opposite vertical sides of the bottom plate to ensure a defined relative orientation of the frame and bottom plate in the vertical.

In preferred embodiments, the frame, except for one vertical side of the bottom plate or, without exception, rests continuously along all vertical sides of the bottom plate against the underside of the bottom plate. By at least three-sided continuous concerns of the frame on the underside of the bottom plate not only a very good definition of the vertical relative orientation of the frame and the bottom plate is achieved, but also achieved a clean functional and optical termination of the tray down.

Concretely, with the exception of one vertical side of the bottom plate or without exception, the frame may be formed over all vertical sides of the bottom plate from a continuous profile bent in the horizontal. A concern of the bottom plate with its underside on the frame in the area of the holding plate proves to be superfluous as a rule. When it rests against the frame with its underside on its other three vertical sides, the bottom plate is sufficiently supported by the frame on the support frame.

The support plate of the frame may in particular be formed from a sheet metal blank which is welded to the ends of the profile and whose edges are bent away exclusively from the one vertical side of the bottom plate on which the holding plate forms the frame. The holding plate is thus an easily producible sheet metal part, in which the fastening means or at least mounting base for the fastening means are formed directly from the sheet metal blank.

As already mentioned, the base plate of the tray according to the invention can be pressed with the connection element fixed thereto from above into the frame. Here, the second portion of the connecting element is typically bent inwardly elastically and set the first portion of the connecting element between the bottom plate and the frame under horizontal bias.

The connecting element can be glued to the outer circumference of the bottom plate via a double-sided adhesive tape. This is in particular a possibility for a small series production of the tray according to the invention. If the double-sided tape has a significant thickness has, it has an effect on the elasticity of the connection element in the horizontal direction and thus on the frictional connection between the connection element and the frame.

In particular, for a large-scale production of the tray according to the invention, the connection element may be glued to the outer periphery of the bottom plate via a simple adhesive intermediate layer. According to the invention, the connection element is a profile strip which is co-extruded with its two partial regions from two different plastics. Such a manufacturing process for plastic parts of two different plastics is also referred to as 2K process. It goes without saying that the optical appearance of the tray according to the invention depends almost exclusively on that of its second partial area. So it is enough z. Concretely, the first portion of the connecting element may have at least one in the assembly of the tray partially sheared and / or plastically deformed horizontal support lug, with which it rests against the vertical contact surface of the frame. In a method for producing a tray according to the invention, the band-shaped connecting element is peripherally adhered to the outer periphery of the bottom plate, and then the bottom plate is pressed together with the connecting element from above into the frame until a bottom of the bottom plate rests against the frame, wherein the connecting element the frame is determined by traction.

Claims (13)

1. A shelf (1) comprising

   - a bottom plate (3) having an upper side (14), a lower side (15) and an outer circumference (11);

   - a frame (2) enclosing the bottom plate (3) at its outer circumference (11) and abutting against the lower side (15) of the bottom plate (3), and

   - a connection element (6) which is arranged between the bottom plate (3) and the frame (2),

   wherein the connection element (6) has a first partial area (10) located in front of the outer circumference (11) in horizontal direction and a second partial area (13) covering the outer circumference (11) at the upper side (14) of the bottom plate (3) and is fixed to the bottom plate (3) on the one hand and to the frame (2) on the other hand; and

   - wherein the connection element (6) is fixed to the bottom plate (3) by means of an adhesive bond and/or a positive fit and to the frame (2) by means of a force fit,
