Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a cooking appliance according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • cooking chamber lighting is provided in the cooking chamber of many cooking appliances.
  • Such cooking space lighting can be made available, inter alia, through a window in the cooking space wall, behind which a housing with the cooking space lighting is arranged.
  • An illuminant of the cooking chamber lighting then emits light through the window into the cooking chamber.
  • such lighting may not be able to adequately illuminate all cooking levels, e.g. B. if a food carrier introduced into the cooking space prevents the light from radiating into all areas of the cooking space.
  • Other cooking chamber lighting systems have therefore also become known, in which the cooking chamber lighting is arranged partially inside the cooking chamber. Better illumination can often be achieved in this way.
  • Cooking space lighting has therefore become known in the prior art, which has a light guide running openly in the cooking space without a cover, which is routed, for example, behind a projection and/or in a channel to protect against damage.
  • the light guide cannot usually be reached when a baking tray is pushed in and therefore cannot be damaged.
  • a considerable part of the light guide is often covered by the channel or the projection, so that losses in illuminance also occur here.
  • Such lighting is, for example, in accordance with a cooking appliance DE 10 2013 113 160 A1 known.
  • the EP 0 573 750 A2 shows a microwave oven in which a rectangular cavity is arranged in the ceiling, which accommodates two grill elements.
  • a similar device is from the U.S. 6,153,866 A known, but there are two grill elements individually arranged in a cavity.
  • a cooking appliance with a cooking chamber is known, the walls of which have at least one cavity.
  • two light guides are routed in the cavity over the length of the cavity; two further exemplary embodiments show cavities in which one light guide is arranged centrally in each case.
  • the cooking appliance according to the invention has a cooking chamber.
  • the cooking space is provided by a muffle.
  • the muffle comprises two side walls, a bottom wall, a top wall, a rear wall and a cooking space opening for loading and unloading the cooking space.
  • At least one food support receiving device for receiving at least one food support is assigned to the cooking chamber.
  • At least one lighting device is assigned to the cooking chamber.
  • the lighting device has a rod as the only light-emitting part.
  • a receiving device is formed on at least one side wall of the muffle, which receiving device accommodates the single light-emitting part of the lighting device.
  • the receiving device comprises a receiving space.
  • the light-emitting part of the lighting device is arranged essentially longitudinally in the receiving space.
  • the section of the light-emitting part of the lighting device is arranged closer to a longitudinal side of the receiving space facing the cooking chamber opening than to a longitudinal side of the receiving space facing away from the cooking chamber opening.
  • the cooking appliance according to the invention offers many other advantages.
  • the receiving space in which the light-emitting part of the lighting device is arranged closer to the longitudinal side facing the cooking chamber opening than to the longitudinal side facing away from the cooking chamber opening offers a considerable advantage.
  • the light-emitting part of the lighting device is accommodated in a particularly protected manner. Even if the food supports are tilted or pushed in at an angle, the light-emitting part cannot be hit when the food support is pushed in. This means that no cover is required, which would absorb light rays and lead to losses in illuminance.
  • a further considerable advantage is that the arrangement according to the invention of the light-emitting part in the receiving space achieves significantly improved illumination of the cooking space.
  • light guides are often embedded in the cooking chamber wall without a cover in such a way that large areas of the light-emitting part are covered.
  • the cooking appliance described here is due to the asymmetrical or eccentric arrangement In the recording room, the light-emitting part is largely free and not shielded by the walls. The light can be emitted particularly well to the long side of the receiving space that faces away from the cooking space opening. As a result, the cooking compartment is particularly well illuminated with indirect light.
  • the cooking appliance according to the invention thus offers not only a protected arrangement of the light-emitting part, but also particularly good illumination of the cooking chamber. This also provides lighting for the cooking space that can be designed to be particularly space-saving and visually appealing.
  • the long sides of the receiving space can each be described by a line which runs along a boundary between the wall of the muffle and the receiving space.
  • the line or the boundary runs in particular along an outer longitudinal edge of the receiving space.
  • the receiving space is delimited in particular by two outer longitudinal edges relative to that wall of the muffle on which the receiving space is arranged.
  • the receiving space can also be delimited from the wall of the muffle by additional edges, e.g. B. by transverse edges.
  • the receiving space is in particular at least partially open and preferably completely open in the direction of the cooking space.
  • the longitudinal axis of the light-emitting part of the lighting device can run parallel or inclined or skewed along the longitudinal axis of the receiving space.
  • the longitudinal axis of the light-emitting part of the lighting device runs, in particular, vertically.
  • the longitudinal axis of the light-emitting part of the lighting device is preferably arranged eccentrically in the receiving space.
  • the receiving space is arranged on a side wall of the muffle. In all of the configurations, it is particularly preferred that the receiving space is arranged in one half of a side wall facing the cooking space opening. In particular, the receiving space is arranged in a third and preferably a quarter of the side wall facing the cooking space opening. It is also possible to arrange the receiving space in a sixth or eighth of the side wall facing the cooking space opening.
  • the receiving space can also be provided directly adjacent to the cooking space opening. Such configurations, in which the receiving space is positioned further in front in the direction of the cooking space opening, also offer very good illumination of the rear cooking space in connection with the asymmetrical design of the receiving space.
  • an illumination direction is to be understood in particular as meaning all components that are necessary for the illumination of a cooking chamber.
  • the connecting cables, electronic components, one or more holders and one or more light sources can be combined under a lighting device.
  • the lighting device comprises at least one light-emitting diode device and preferably a plurality of LEDs.
  • an integrated and/or a separate heat sink can be provided. Only the light-emitting part of the lighting device is preferably arranged inside the cooking chamber, with the light-emitting part of the lighting device guiding the light produced by an arbitrarily designed lighting means into the cooking chamber.
  • the receiving device can comprise at least one reflector or at least partially be designed as such.
  • the light-emitting part includes a light guide or is designed as such.
  • the light guide has no reflector.
  • a light guide with a reflector can also be provided.
  • the light guide is made in particular from a glass material.
  • light guides made of other materials can also be expediently used for the cooking appliance according to the invention, as long as the material of the light guide has sufficient heat resistance during cooking. It is particularly advantageous if the material used for the light-emitting part of the lighting device can also withstand very high temperatures, as they occur, for. B. can occur in a pyrolysis operation of a cooking appliance. It is possible e.g. B. a plastic material and / or a composite material. If the light-emitting part of the lighting device is made of touch-sensitive or impact-sensitive materials, the protected arrangement is particularly advantageous since the light guide could be quickly damaged or even destroyed by a collision if the food support is accidentally inserted at an angle into the cooking chamber.
  • the light-emitting part of the lighting device is arranged in particular in a half of the receiving space facing the cooking chamber opening and preferably in a third of the receiving space facing the cooking chamber opening. It is also possible and preferred that the light-emitting part of the lighting device is arranged in a quarter, sixth or eighth of the receiving space facing the cooking space opening. The light-emitting part can also be arranged in a tenth of the receiving space facing the cooking space opening. Such an arrangement, in which the light-emitting part is correspondingly close to the longitudinal side of the receiving space facing the cooking chamber opening, offers a particularly well-protected accommodation of the light-emitting part. In addition, the light is emitted particularly well over the area of the recording space that remains free.
  • the receiving space comprises at least two longitudinal walls.
  • a configuration of the receiving space with longitudinal walls offers particularly good protection for the light guide and enables the construction of a muffle that is insulated as well as possible.
  • the recording room at least comprises a strut and/or at least one profile bar.
  • the longitudinal walls are designed to be continuous. It is also possible for the longitudinal walls to have interruptions, such as recesses for installing cooking chamber components.
  • one of the longitudinal walls extends from one of the longitudinal sides.
  • the longitudinal walls extend in particular from the longitudinal side towards one another.
  • the longitudinal walls adjoin one another and preferably adjoin one another along their longitudinal axis.
  • the longitudinal walls directly adjoin one another.
  • the longitudinal walls merge into one another in one piece.
  • the longitudinal walls adjoin one another along at least one longitudinal edge within the accommodation space.
  • the light-emitting part of the lighting device is arranged along the longitudinal edge and preferably parallel to the longitudinal edge.
  • the longitudinal edge within the receiving space runs in particular parallel to the longitudinal sides of the receiving space.
  • the longitudinal walls adjoin one another at an angle of less than 90°.
  • the longitudinal walls adjoin one another at an angle greater than 45°.
  • the angle is less than 80° and greater than 60°.
  • an angle of 75° is provided.
  • Longitudinal walls adjoining one another at such angles enable a particularly advantageous asymmetrical receiving space. It is possible that a rounding is formed at the junction of the longitudinal walls.
  • the angles relate in particular to a plane and/or an alignment of the longitudinal walls.
  • the longitudinal walls each run at different angles to the plane of the wall with the receiving device.
  • the longitudinal wall facing away from the cooking chamber opening runs at a shallower angle to the plane of the wall than the longitudinal wall facing the cooking chamber opening.
  • the longitudinal wall facing the cooking chamber opening extends in particular at an angle greater than 45° and preferably greater than 65° to the plane of the wall with the receiving device.
  • the longitudinal wall facing the cooking chamber opening preferably runs at an angle of 90° to the plane of the wall. In possible configurations, this angle can be increased or decreased by 20° or more.
  • Such an angle allows the light-emitting part to be arranged as close as possible to the part of the receiving space facing the cooking space opening.
  • such a longitudinal wall supports indirect illumination of the cooking chamber.
  • An angle of more than 90° is also possible.
  • the receiving space can have a longitudinal wall, which is arranged at an angle of greater than 90° to the plane of the wall, with an area designed as an undercut, in which the light-emitting part of the lighting device runs.
  • the longitudinal wall facing the cooking chamber opening is particularly preferably arranged at an angle to the plane of the wall with the receiving device, which supports an arrangement of the light-emitting part of the lighting device on the longitudinal wall that protects against collisions with the food support.
  • the angle the depth of the cooking chamber at which the longitudinal wall facing the cooking chamber opening is arranged on the side wall must be taken into account.
  • the food support can be tilted more in a front area of the cooking chamber than in an area further to the rear. As a rule, the degree of freedom for tilting decreases the further the food support is pushed into the food support receiving device.
  • the angle to be selected for the longitudinal wall also depends on the play that the food support has in the food support receiving device. Taking into account the aforementioned aspects, a preferred angle of greater than 70° and particularly preferably greater than 80° results for an arrangement of the light-emitting part that is protected against collisions with the food support.
  • the longitudinal wall facing away from the cooking space runs in particular at an angle of less than 65° and preferably at an angle of less than 45° to the plane of the wall with the receiving device.
  • An angle of less than 25° is particularly preferred, e.g. 15°.
  • An angle greater than 65° is also possible.
  • a longitudinal wall facing away from the cooking chamber opening, which extends at a correspondingly flat angle to the plane of the wall, has the advantage that it does not act as an obstacle to the illumination of the cooking chamber.
  • the surface of such a longitudinal wall can be used particularly well for radiation into the cooking chamber with indirect lighting.
  • the longitudinal walls differ in their width.
  • the longitudinal wall facing away from the cooking chamber opening is preferably twice as wide and particularly preferably four times wider than the longitudinal wall facing the cooking chamber opening.
  • the longitudinal wall facing away from the cooking chamber opening is many times wider than the longitudinal wall facing the cooking chamber opening.
  • the correspondingly wide rear longitudinal wall radiates the light coming from the light-emitting part particularly well into the cooking chamber.
  • the width relates in particular to the dimension of the respective longitudinal wall running transversely to the longitudinal axis of the receiving space and/or the light-emitting part of the lighting device.
  • the receiving space is delimited by at least two transverse walls running at an angle to the longitudinal walls. At least one of the transverse walls has at least one passage opening for the light-emitting part of the lighting device. Only one transverse wall can also be provided. It is possible that at least one transverse wall and preferably both transverse walls are integral with at least one longitudinal wall and are preferably formed with the longitudinal walls. In an operational position of the cooking appliance, a transverse wall is provided at the upper end of the receiving space and a transverse wall is provided at the lower end of the receiving space. The longitudinal walls run in particular between the transverse walls. The longitudinal axis of the light-emitting part of the lighting device intersects in particular with a respective plane of the transverse walls. In particular, however, the longitudinal axis of the light-emitting part of the lighting device does not intersect with the planes of the longitudinal walls of the receiving space.
