Zunächst wird auf die Fig. 1-3 Bezug genommen, die eine erste Ausführungsform eines erfindungsgemäßen Formkörpers 1 in Gebrauchslage zeigen. Der Formkörper 1 wurde dabei am Unterschenkel 2 eines Skisportlers angelegt und erstreckt sich vom knienahen Bereich des Unterschenkels 2 bis zum fußnahen Bereich des Unterschenkels 2. In der Fig. 2 ist das Knie 8 eingezeichnet. Dem entsprechend weist der in den Fig. 1-3 gezeigte Formkörper 1 einen oberen knienahen Bereich 1a, einem mittigen Wadenbereich 1b und einem unteren fußnahen Bereich 1c auf. Über den Fuß 3 und den Unterschenkel 2 kann ein Skisocken oder ein Rennanzug übergezogen werden, der auch den Formkörper 1 überdeckt. Während der Sportausübung ist der Formkörper 1 somit nicht zu sehen. Wie insbesondere aus der Fig. 3 ersichtlich ist, umschließt der Formkörper 1 den Unterschenkel in seinem Umfang fast vollständig und weist einen in Längsrichtung verlaufenden Schlitz 7 auf, sodass er entlang des Wadenbeins geöffnet ist. Der Formkörper 1 ist somit röhrenförmig ausgeführt und bildet eine röhrenförmige, in Längsrichtung geschlitzte Anlagefläche. Der obere, knienahe Bereich 1a und der mittige Wadenbereich 1b des Formkörpers 1 überragen den Schaft 5 und liegen lediglich in dichter Anlage zum Unterschenkel 2. Diese Anordnung ermöglicht nun eine präzise Übertragung von Bewegungen des Unterschenkels 2 auf den Skischuh 4 und somit den Ski. An der Vorderseite des Formkörpers 1 werden im Bedarfsfall Klettflächen angeordnet, um eine Fixierung beispielsweise von Strümpfen wie etwa bei Fußballschonern zu gewährleisten. Der Formkörper 1 kann direkt auf der Haut oder über einem dünnen Strumpf getragen werden. Die Fixierung des Formkörpers 1 am Unterschenkel 2 kann zusätzlich mit einem Klettverschluss an der Rückseite verstärkt werden. Die dünnste Art der Fixierung ist jedoch mit einem Tape-Band. Der Formkörper 1 kann auf seiner Innenseite einen dünnen Bezug aufweisen, wie er etwa in der Orthopädie für Orthesen bekannt ist, und der auch als Polsterung verwendet werden kann.The molded body 1 is designed as a one-piece hard shell and remains open only at the back about 1 to 3 cm. Die Konturdaten können in weiterer Folge für die Steuerung einer CNC-Fräse verwendet werden, wobei es auch möglich ist, mithilfe geeigneter Bearbeitungssoftware Veränderungen am Fuß- oder Unterschenkelmodell vorzunehmen wie etwa Überkorrekturen an den Knöcheln oder an der Schienbeinkante. Diese Korrekturen können je nach Notwendigkeit und Bedarf des Athleten vorgenommen werden.
