Description

The invention relates to a household appliance component with a decorative part which is arranged on a base part of the household appliance component as a component that is bent at least once and does not extend in one plane.

Such a household appliance component is a door rack from the DE 10 2012 221 800 A1 known. The decorative part there is shown as a metal profile part, which is an extrusion component.

DE 10 2012 209 877 A1 discloses a built-in part for a refrigeration device with at least one wall panel having a free edge and a decorative profile plugged onto the free edge, the wall panel being delimited opposite the free edge by an undercut edge, and the decorative profile having a main panel covering the wall panel and one in a Has undercut of the undercut edge engaging latching contour.

DE 10 2004 012 497 A1 discloses a refrigerator with an interior space enclosed by a heat-insulating housing and at least one storage compartment having a curved edge and arranged in the interior space, a strip attached to the curved edge being constructed from a plastic core and a metallic jacket, and wherein the jacket has the plastic core in a curved configuration.

DE 10 2012 223 118 A1 discloses a refrigeration device with a door rack, wherein the door rack has a base body and a base frame attached to the base body, and an additional frame is assigned to the door rack.

U.S. 5,269,602 discloses an inner box for use in a thermal insulation box having inner and outer boxes defining a space between the inner and outer boxes. The inner box has a main body with, along opposite longitudinal ends, first and second peripheral flanges with a V-shaped transverse cross-section to form a V-shaped groove and with a pair of cutouts on each peripheral flange. The main body is folded into a U-shaped panel along transverse lines, connecting the cutouts on the opposite flanges.

Especially with decorative parts that have a metallic optical impression and do not extend in a straight line and therefore also not in a plane, it is particularly problematic at the bends to keep such pure metal parts free of kinks and in a certain elastic state and, moreover, reliable fastening without to achieve undesirable mechanical stresses.

It is the object of the present invention to create a household appliance component in which the decorative part is improved.

This object is achieved by a household appliance component and a household appliance with such a household appliance component according to the independent claims.

A household appliance component according to the invention comprises a decorative part which is arranged on a base part of the household appliance component as a component that is bent at least once and does not extend in one plane. The decorative part is a separate component from the base part and is mechanically attached to it. An essential idea of the invention is to be seen in the fact that the decorative part is designed as a coextruded part made of metal and plastic. Such a one-piece decorative part made of two different materials as a coextruded part thus in particular enables the design of the decorative part to be provided in an improved manner without undesirable mechanical stresses occurring during fastening and without such stresses or undesired kinks occurring at a bend. This enables, in particular, a very individual bending of the decorative part, since the metal-plastic composite can also be bent plastically, which is not possible with plastic alone.

It is preferably provided that the metal is formed on a visible side of the decorative part. As a result, the entire decorative part acts as a complete metallic part, but as a coextruded part nevertheless ensures a lighter weight design and more individual elasticity design.

In particular, it is provided that the metal is aluminum. Such a material specification further reduces the weight of the decorative part and, on the other hand, gives a wide variety of options for designing the metallic impression of the decorative part. It is preferably provided that the decorative part is designed as a strip. This allows a very filigree decorative strip to be provided. With such a strip in particular, the advantages mentioned above are particularly beneficial and a coextruded part is to be regarded as particularly advantageous. Since such a strip has a height that is many times less than its length and is therefore relatively narrow compared to its length, the above-mentioned advantages of expansion or tension due to a coextruded part can be avoided here.

It is preferably provided that the decorative part is arranged in a U-shape on the base part. At least two bends are thus formed on the decorative part.

It is preferably provided that the decorative part is formed with a thin-walled area on the at least one bend of the decorative part. This means that the decorative part is less thick at this bend than at other points. As a result, the bend can be produced even more easily without mechanical stresses occurring or material damage, such as cracks or the like, occurring at the bend. According to the invention it is provided that on a rear side of the decorative part facing away from a visible side of the decorative part outside a bend of the decorative part, at least one fastening element is integrated, in particular on a U-shaped side leg curved decorative part, the fastening element is formed. This fastening element thus also produces a thickening of the decorative part outside the bend, so that it is also mechanically more stable there so that it can be fastened to the base part. As a result of the integration of this fastening element, it is then also arranged in a permanently fixed position on the decorative part and a permanently mechanically stable fastening to the base part is thereby made possible.

It is provided that the fastening element is an L-shaped hook rail. A simple assembly process can thereby be achieved and the decorative part can be arranged on the decorative part in a permanently stable and positionally fixed manner.

In addition, however, it is also possible for the decorative part to be arranged on the base part in a non-destructive and detachable manner, so that it can also be reversibly removed again at any time.

It is preferably provided that the hook rail on the cantilevered wall of the L-shape has a recess which is open at the edge for engaging an engagement web of the base part. This is a particularly advantageous embodiment, since this interlocking results in a further toothing and thus a favorable position fixing of the decorative part in relation to the base part.

It is preferably provided that several engagement elements for coupling to the decorative part are integrated in a receiving area of the base part on the base part. As a result, the mechanical connection between the decorative part and the base part can be further improved at this point. According to the invention, it is provided that a clamping device for clamping the decorative part is formed at at least one end of a receiving area of the base part that is designed to receive the decorative part. As a result, a further separate connection point is created between the decorative part and the base part, as a result of which the coupling at the end prevents undesired protrusion of the decorative part from the base part. According to the invention it is provided that the clamping device has at least one clamping ramp increasing towards the end and a clamping tab spaced therefrom, so that a clamping space is formed between the clamping ramp and the clamping tab. The clamping ramp thus provides a continuously increasing web design which enables the decorative part, in particular the cantilevered wall of the hook rail, to be introduced easily and in a targeted manner. As a result, a jerk-free and thus free of spreading and thus low-damage connection of the decorative part to the base part is achieved at this end-side point. As a result, the mechanical clamping effect is built up gradually and continuously until the final clamping state is reached.

It is preferably provided that, in the assembled state of the decorative part on the base part, only the cantilevered wall of the hook rail extends into the clamping space and is clamped therein. In the finally assembled state of the decorative part on the base part, the clamping strap then extends in the free space between the cantilevered wall and a front part of the decorative part. This also creates a further mechanical holder.
It is preferably provided that a stiffening part is formed on a central leg of a decorative part bent in a U-shape on a rear side of the decorative part opposite a visible side. As a result, this center leg is also designed to be inherently stable.
It is preferably provided that the base part has a U-shaped bent, strip-shaped bracket as a receiving area for the decorative part.

It is preferably provided that the household appliance component is a door rack.
In the case of the design of the decorative part as a U-shaped element, a fastening element extends on each of the side legs of the U-shape, which is in particular designed as an elongated, L-shaped hook rail. The hook rails extend in particular to the free end of the side legs of the U-shape on the back of the decorative part.

It is preferably provided that a recess formed in the cantilevered wall of a hook rail is formed in a length half of the hook rail that faces away from the free end of the U-shape and is thus closer to a bend of a side limb towards a central limb. In particular in the case of an embodiment with a clamping device, this clamping device, which is preferably designed at the end, is then not impaired by the cutout, in particular thereby even promoting the holder.

With the information "top", "bottom", "front", "back", "horizontal", "vertical", "depth direction", "width direction", "height direction" are those with intended use and intended arrangement of the device and with a then given positions and orientations given to the observer standing in front of the device and looking in the direction of the device.

In Fig. 1 is shown in a perspective view of a household appliance 1, which is a household refrigerator, which can be, for example, a refrigerator or a freezer or a combined refrigerator-freezer, and which is designed for storing and preserving food. The household appliance 1 comprises a housing 2 in which a receiving space or interior 3 for food is formed. The interior 3 can be closed at the front by a door 4. At least one household appliance component in the form of a door rack 6 is arranged on an inside 5 of the door 4, which faces the interior 3 when the door 4 is closed. In the exemplary embodiment, the household appliance component is thus formed by the door rack 6.

In Fig. 2 an embodiment of partial components of the door rack 6 is shown in a perspective illustration. The door rack 6 comprises a base part 7 which is designed as a one-piece plastic part. The base part 7 comprises two carrier plates 8 and 9 which are connected at a lower rear end by a connecting web 10. A U-shaped bracket 11 is formed on the front narrow edges of the plates 8 and 9 and has a receiving space 12, in particular a channel-shaped receiving space 12, for a decorative part 13 separate from the base part 7.

In Fig. 2 the final assembled state between the base part 7 and the decorative part 13 is shown. The decorative part 13 is a coextruded part made of metal and plastic. In particular, the coextruded part is made of aluminum and plastic.

It is provided that the metal 15 is formed on a visible side 14 of the decorative part 13.

As can be seen, the decorative part 13 is designed as a narrow strip which is bent in a U-shape and therefore does not extend in one plane. The decorative part 13 is received in the channel-shaped receiving area 12 and is thus also embedded at least in some areas.

In Fig. 3 the decorative part 13 is shown in perspective. On a rear side 16 opposite the visible side 14, which is then also formed by the plastic material, a first fastening element 18 is integrated in one piece on a side leg 17 of the U-shape. This fastening element 18 is an L-shaped hook rail, which extends with a cantilevered wall 19 of the L-shape parallel to and at a distance from a front part 20 of the side leg 17.

In the further side limb 21 of the U-shape, a corresponding further fastening element 22 is formed, which corresponds to the fastening element 18 in shape, dimensions and function.

As can also be seen, in the fastening element 18 in this cantilevered wall 19 a recess 23 open at the edge is formed. This is for Engagement of an engagement element formed integrally on the bracket 11 and formed in the receiving area 12. As can also be seen, a stiffening element 25 is integrally formed in a center leg 24 of the U-shape of the decorative part 13 on the rear side 16, which for example can also be L-shaped and thus also in an advantageous embodiment for further mechanical coupling can be provided with the receiving area 12. The stiffening element 25 extends at least over 90% of the length of the central leg 24.

As can also be seen, the decorative part 13 is designed to be thinner-walled at bends 26 and 27 and thus at transitions between the side limb 17 and the central limb 24 as well as the side limb 21 and the central limb 24. So there are preferably free punchings made on these bends 26 and 27. In particular, this L-shaped hook rail is then present in the bending area 26 and 27, in particular removed by punching.

In Fig. 4 is a perspective horizontal sectional view of a portion of the door rack 6, as shown in Fig. 2 is shown in an intermediate assembly state. In this context it can be seen that the decorative part 13 has not yet been pushed completely onto the bracket 11 in its end position.

As can be seen, a straight, web-like engagement element 28 is formed in the receiving area 12. A clamping device 29 is also formed at the end of the receiving area 12. As shown in more detail in the perspective illustration in FIG Fig. 6 What can be seen is at least one clamping ramp 30 increasing towards one end 12a of the receiving area 12, in the exemplary embodiment two clamping ramps 30 and 31 that run parallel to and spaced apart from one another. For this purpose, the clamping device 29 comprises a clamping lug 32, spaced outwards, so that between the clamping lug 32 and the clamping ramps 30 and 31, a clamping space 33 is formed. The cantilevered wall 29 is pushed into this clamping space 33 and, depending on the insertion depth, clamping is achieved in the then tapering clamping space 33. In addition, the clamping lug 32 is arranged in a space between the cantilevered wall 19 and the front part 20 extending into it.

The subcomponents explained with regard to the fastening element 18 are also present with the same reference symbols in the fastening element 22, so that in the case of the in Fig. 4, Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 The illustration and explanation shown, the fastening element 22 and the front part 34 ( Fig. 3 ) of the side leg 21 with the in Fig. 4, Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 The representation shown corresponds.

Is then based on the representation in Fig. 4 the decorative part 13 is shifted further in the direction of the plate 8 and thus in the direction of the end of the receiving area 12, the engagement elements 28, of which in FIG Fig. 6 two are shown in recess 23. Claims (13)

1. Household appliance component (6) having a decorative part (13) which is arranged on a base part (7) of the household appliance component (6) as a component bent at least once and not extending in a plane, wherein the decorative part (13) is embodied as a coextruded part made of metal and plastic, wherein a clamping device (29) for clamping the decorative part (13) is embodied on at least one end (12a) of a receiving region (12) of the base part (7) embodied to receive the decorative part (13), characterised in that at least one attachment element (18, 22) is integrated on a rear side (16) of the decorative part (13) facing away from a visual face (15) of the decorative part (13) outside a bend (26, 27) of the decorative part (13), and that the clamping device (29) has at least one clamping ramp (30, 31) rising towards the end (12a) and a clamping lug (32) spaced apart therefrom, such that a clamping space (33) is embodied between the clamping ramp (30, 31) and the clamping lug (32)
2. Household appliance component (6) according to claim 1, characterised in that the metal is embodied on a visible face (15) of the decorative part (13) and/or the metal is aluminium.
3. Household appliance component (6) according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the decorative part (13) is embodied as a strip.
4. Household appliance component (6) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the decorative part (13) is arranged in a U shape on the base part (7).
5. Household appliance component (6) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the decorative part (13) is embodied with a thin wall region at the at least one bend (26, 27), such that at said bend the decorative part is less thick than in other places.
6. Household appliance component (6) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the attachment element (18, 22) is embodied on a side arm (17, 21) of a U-shaped bent decorative part (13).
7. Household appliance component (6) according to claim 6, characterised in that the attachment element (18, 22) is an L-shaped hooked rail.
8. Household appliance component (6) according to claim 7, characterised in that the hooked rail has a recess (23) open at the edge on the cantilevered wall (19) of the L shape for engagement of an engagement element (28) of the base part (7).
9. Household appliance component (6) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that several engagement elements (28) for coupling with the decorative part (13) in a receiving region (12) of the base part (7) are integrated on the base part (7).
10. Household appliance component (6) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that in the assembled state of the decorative part (13) on the base part (7) only the cantilever wall (19) extends into the clamping space (33) and is clamped therein.
11. Household appliance component (6) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a bracing part (25) is embodied on a centre limb (24) of a decorative part (13) bent in a U-shape on a rear side (16) opposite a visible face (15).
12. Household appliance component (6) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the base part (7) has a bracket (11) embodied in a strip shape and bent in a U shape with a receiving region (12) for the decorative part (13).
13. Household appliance component according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it is a door rack (6).
