  1.   3. Sun and rain protection device according to claim 2, characterised in that the threaded spindles (11) for adjusting the guide blocks (13) are rotatable by a common drive motor (16) via transmission shafts (15) and gears (14).
  4. Sun and rain protection device according to claim 3, characterised in that the transmission shafts (15) and the drive motor (16) are accommodated in a transverse profile (5) of the supporting structure (1).
  5. Sun and rain protection device according to claim 3 or 4, characterised in that the gears (14) have a mounting (17), on which the threaded spindle (11) is mounted to be rotatable via a support (18).
  6. Sun and rain protection device according to claim 5, characterised in that a first bevel wheel (19), which is in engagement with a second bevel wheel (20), is attached to the upwardly projecting end of the threaded spindle (11) with respect to the support (18).
  7. Sun and rain protection device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the second end (23) of the guide rail (7) is coupled to the longitudinal support (4) of the supporting structure via a pivotable lever (27).
  8. Sun and rain protection device according to claim 7, characterised in that the lever (27) is coupled to be pivotable on the longitudinal support (4) with its one end via a first rotational axis (28) and in that the second end (23) of the guide rail (27) is coupled to be pivotable about a second rotational axis (29) on the other end of the lever (27).
  9. Sun and rain protection device according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the sun and rain protection element (3) is designed in the form of a fabric which can be folded or rolled up.
