- a liquid such as a surface formed by the walls of a pool, in particular a swimming pool.
- These include a mobile pool cleaning robot.
- patents are known FR 2 925 557 and 2,925,551 , of the Applicant, which are aimed at a submerged surface cleaner device with removable filter device.
- Such devices comprise a body, drive members of said body on the immersed surface, a filtration chamber formed within the body and comprising a liquid inlet, a liquid outlet, a hydraulic circuit for liquid circulation between the input and output through a filter device.
- the filter device is removable to allow emptying the leaves and other debris without having to return the cleaning device.
- the patent document is known EP 2,235,298 who teaches immersed surface cleaning apparatus in which a liquid undergoes a locally turbulent flow before passing through filter walls, the debris present in the liquid drawn into the apparatus being separated by gravity in the turbulent zone.
- the turbulent zone does not make it possible to separate all the debris transported by a liquid, in particular debris with a density very close to that of the liquid.
- the debris that is desired to extract water, especially pool water are usually waterlogged to the point of having a density substantially similar to that of water. This is particularly the case of leaves of plants that have spent several days in the water.
- the water still charged with debris passes through a filter in a linear displacement from upstream to downstream so that the filter clogs up little by little, thus reducing the efficiency of the filtration and especially the flow of filtered water. .
- EP 1 074 678 B1 Another device described in the patent is still known EP 1 074 678 B1 (published in February 2001).
- This document teaches a pool cleaner comprising a basket-like filter element comprising a tubular central shaft configured to be placed on a clean water outlet tube, said central shaft being surrounded by an annular channel constituting the filtering portion. active filter element.
- the dirty water arrives through the upper annular portion, passes through the filter in the lower part of the basket, and out through the central tube having a pump.
- the filter element is removed by the upper part to which it is removably attached.
- the filter element consists of a flexible bag, which comes to follow the shape of the inner shell.
- This device has, inter alia, clogging problems of the filter, especially by sheets suspended in water, and which gradually accumulate on the bottom of the filter bag.
- the object of the invention is in particular to remedy some of these disadvantages.
- the aim of the invention is to propose a swimming pool cleaning device that efficiently filters debris in the water.
- the invention aims in particular to provide such a cleaning apparatus that can effectively separate water leaves having stayed long in the water.
- the invention also aims at providing a cleaning apparatus producing a filtration by significantly limiting clogging of the filter.
- the invention therefore also aims to provide such a cleaning device that does not overuse electricity due to a rapid clogging of the filter.
- the invention aims in particular to provide such a cleaning device whose filtered water flow does not decrease in time between two cleanings of the filter.
- the invention also aims to provide such a cleaning device requiring little maintenance, especially not requiring frequent filter cleaning compared to the total volume of the device, including the available storage space for debris.
- the invention also aims to provide such a cleaning apparatus having a large storage capacity of the debris relative to the total volume of the apparatus.
- the hydraulic fluid circulation circuit comprises a liquid evacuation tube emerging from the apparatus through an opening in the lid of the filtration device.
- the filtering basket comprises a central filtering wall surrounding the liquid evacuation tube, over at least a part of its length, which tube advantageously comprises water inlet openings in its lower part, that is to say said remote from the lid, the filtering basket being shaped in a single uninterrupted volume, peripheral to the central filtering wall.
- the opening in the cover may be but not necessarily located in the central portion of said cover. It is sufficient that the space between the discharge tube / central filter wall and the remainder of the filter basket allows the liquid to pass freely to generate the vortices listed above.
- the filter basket has at least one lateral water inlet.
- the assembly formed by the lid and the filtering basket comes to form a kind of torus around the liquid discharge tube, the filtering basket and the lid having a recess so that they can be mounted around the tube. evacuation of liquid.
- pool cleaning apparatus is intended to mean an apparatus for cleaning a submerged surface, that is to say typically a device, mobile within or at the bottom of a swimming pool, and adapted to carry out the filtration. debris deposited only a wall.
- a pool cleaning robot Such an apparatus is commonly known as a pool cleaning robot, when it comprises means of automated management of movements at the bottom and on the walls of the pool to cover the entire surface to be cleaned.
- the lid of the filtration device is detachably secured to the filtering basket, and comprises an extraction handle of the filtration device out of the cleaning apparatus. In this way, when the user comes to remove the filter basket from the pool cleaner, he does not have to get his hands dirty in contact with the leaves or debris contained in the filter basket.
- the filter basket and the lid are extracted from the apparatus by extraction from the top out of the body.
- the filter basket is removable from the top of the device.
- the lid thus forms an upper part of the body of the apparatus.

- the parallelepipedal shape of the outer wall of the basket makes it possible to make the most of the substantially rectangular shape of the body of the cleaning apparatus.
- the filter basket could include, for example an outer wall of cylindrical shape or any other shape.
- the filter basket is, in a particular case, included in a rigid frame.
- the filter is, for example, made of a rigid mesh for tensioning a filter cloth.
- the filter is for example then constituted by a rigid mesh permanently secured to the filter cloth.
- the filter basket is a flexible bag.
- the hydraulic circuit is adapted to allow a flow of liquid between at least one liquid inlet in the body and at least one liquid outlet out of the body under the effect of a pumping device.
- the filtration device is interposed, on the hydraulic circuit, between at least one liquid inlet and at least one liquid outlet.
- the invention thus effectively separates debris from a liquid while avoiding the clogging of a filter.
- the liquid is circulated in multiple swirling movements around the central filter wall, it picks up any debris - including leaves - that may have pressed against the filter section.
- the debris itself which is rotated with the liquid collides with debris accumulated against the filter section, so that the shock detaches the latter and circulates them back into the water in the filter basket.
- the central filter wall is located in the central zone of the filtration device.
- the central filtering wall is advantageously generally symmetrical of revolution, that is to say that it has one (or more) section (s) of generally symmetrical shape of revolution, for example a combination of sections selected from sections of cylindrical, conical, frustoconical, etc.
- the central filtering wall is advantageously cylindrical of revolution, that is to say that it has one (or more) section (s) of globally cylindrical shape of revolution, and more particularly at least one filtering section of cylindrical shape of revolution.

- the axis of symmetry of the central filtering wall advantageously forms an angle less than 45 ° with the normal to the guide plane.
- the axis of the central filtering wall is at least substantially vertical when the apparatus is placed on a horizontal surface, so that the angle between the axis of the central filter wall and the vertical is lower than at 45 °, in particular less than 30 °, for most of the pool basin bottom surfaces.
- the axis of symmetry of the central filtering wall is disposed substantially orthogonal to the guide plane of the apparatus.
- the apparatus has a hydraulic circuit comprising a single liquid inlet in the body.
- the apparatus advantageously has a hydraulic circuit comprising a single liquid outlet out of the body.
- An apparatus as described advantageously also comprises a motorized circulation pump located in the body and adapted to be able to create a circulation of liquid in said hydraulic circuit.
- the circulation pump is of axis substantially collinear with the axis of symmetry of the central filtering wall.
- the circulation pump is advantageously careened in a fairing coaxial with the central filtering wall.
- the fairing is, for example, integral with the body.
- the fairing is hydraulically connected to at least one liquid outlet out of the body.

- the propeller of the circulation pump is, for example, disposed in a downstream portion of the tubular wall, and more particularly downstream of at least one discharge opening of the filtration chamber, in particular and advantageously between each evacuation opening and a liquid outlet out of the body.
- the circulation pump is for example located immediately upstream of the liquid outlet of the body.
- the circulation pump thus ensures a circulation of liquid in the hydraulic circuit by suction.
- the cleaning apparatus comprises means adapted to be able to impart to a liquid laden with leaves circulating around the filtering wall central vortex movements at a sufficient speed for, at least for some sheets, counteract forces tending to attract the sheets to said central filter wall.
- the pump is in particular of sufficient power to obtain this result.
- shape, dimensions, and orientation of each feed opening in the filter chamber are adapted to achieve this result.
- shape and the dimensions of the filtration chamber, in particular of its peripheral wall, and the shape and the dimensions of the tubular wall, in particular of the high filtering section, are also chosen to obtain this result. Many combinations of these different characteristics are possible to obtain said result.
- the invention also relates to an immersed surface cleaning apparatus characterized in combination by all or some of the characteristics mentioned above or below.
- the invention finds its place in a swimming pool technical environment, for example a family-type buried pool.
- An immersed surface cleaning apparatus is thus represented according to an embodiment given here by way of non-limiting example, in the Figures 1 to 6 .
- the pool cleaning apparatus comprises a body 1 and a driving and guiding device comprising driving and guiding members of the body (caterpillars arranged laterally to the body on the body). figure 1 ) on a submerged surface.
- the drive and guide members define a guide plane on a surface immersed by their points of contact with said immersed surface.
- Said guide plane is generally substantially tangential to the submerged surface at the point where the device is located.
- Said guide plane is for example substantially horizontal when the device moves on a submerged surface of the pool bottom.
- the device further comprises a motor driving said driving and guiding members, said motor being fed via a cable.
- the pool cleaning device has at least one liquid inlet 3 and one liquid outlet 4.
- the liquid inlet 3 is, in the present non-limiting example, located at the base of the body (in other words under it), that is to say immediately facing a submerged surface on which the device moves in order to suck debris accumulated on said immersed surface.
- the liquid outlet 4 is on the top of the device. In the present embodiment, the liquid outlet is in a direction substantially perpendicular to the guide plane, that is to say vertically if the cleaning device rests on the bottom of the pool.
- the apparatus comprises a hydraulic circuit connecting the liquid inlet 3 to the liquid outlet 4.
- the hydraulic circuit is adapted to be able to ensure a circulation of liquid from the liquid inlet 3 to the liquid outlet 4.
- the apparatus comprises for this purpose a pump comprising a motor 19 and a propeller 23 (see figure 2 ), said motor 19 driving the propeller 23 in rotation, said propeller 23 being disposed in the hydraulic circuit.
- the propeller 23 is disposed here above the engine 19, the latter being fixed to the body 1 in a fairing with its axis of rotation 10 orthogonal to the guide plane.
- the propeller 23 is disposed downstream of the hydraulic circuit - that is to say just upstream of the liquid outlet 4 - in a tube-shaped fairing 20 whose upper end opens onto the upper surface of the tube. the apparatus and forms said liquid outlet 4.
- the shroud 20 has a plurality of discharge openings 14 through which the liquid contained in the filtration chamber 8 is discharged. Said discharge openings 14 are made in the shroud 20 of the helix 23, all around the latter, and are hydraulically connected to the liquid outlet 4.
- the electric motor 19 drives the propeller 23 of the circulation pump and the driving and guiding device.
- the apparatus comprises a filtration chamber 8 interposed on the hydraulic circuit between the liquid inlet 3 and the liquid outlet 4.
- the filtration chamber is in particular supplied with liquid via at least one upstream channel connecting the inlet of liquid 3 to the filtration chamber 8.
- Each upstream channel opens into the filtration chamber 8 through a feed opening 13.
- the feed opening 13 is here provided with a non-return valve 15 .
- the filtration chamber 8 comprises a filtration basket 17 and a lid 2 forming the upper wall of the filtration chamber 8.
- the filter basket 17 forms the bottom and the outer and inner peripheral walls (the central filtering wall 9) of the filtration chamber 8.
- the filtration chamber 8 is in fact delimited inside by a central filtering wall 9 of the filtering basket 17, through which the liquid contained in the filtration chamber 8 is discharged.
- the filtering wall 9 delimits an internal volume F, said internal volume of the filtering wall 9, within which said liquid discharge takes place.
- the configuration of the set P that is to say the relative position of the walls belonging to said set P, has an impact on the topology of the paths contained in the set E1.
- the set P is configured so that the set E2 is contained, from a point of view set, in E1.
- the debris receiving volume V formed by the filter basket does not comprise a vertical separator delimiting sub-volumes in said basket.
- the debris can circulate freely within or at the bottom of the filter basket, and are not retained in local bowls of said basket.
- the basket circumferentially surrounds the central filtering wall completely. In this way, the water can circulate freely around the central filtering wall, in a movement for example helical or swirling around this wall.
- the basket comprises a vertical separator on a minor portion (substantially less than half) of the height of the volume of the basket.
- Such a configuration of the basket is advantageous because it makes it possible to have a filtration volume V of maximum capacity, with regard to the rigid structure of the filtration chamber 8. In this way, a larger quantity of liquid can be embedded. within the body 1 and the liquid can circulate freely, that is to say without encountering any material obstacles, around the central filtering wall 9, thereby reducing the energy required for its movement within the hydraulic circuit .
- the filtering basket 17 is shaped in a single peripheral volume to the central filtering wall 9 and has no internal "wall” interrupting this volume or delimiting a plurality of cups constituting local filtration zones.
- volume V of maximum capacity allows, in an alternative implementation comprising a feed opening 13 configured so that the liquid enters a direction substantially tangential to at least one of the outer walls of the filtration basket 17, to optimize the formation of swirling movements all around the filtering wall 9.
- Such swirling movements make it possible, on the one hand, to unclog debris that can stick to said central filtering wall 9, and to on the other hand, to keep suspended debris away from the filter walls, so that the filter can not clog.
- the filter basket 17 has a generally parallelepiped shape, with a recess from one side formed by the central filter wall 9, intended to be placed around the fairing 20 of the propeller 23 and the electric motor.
- the filtering basket 17 comprises a lower filtering wall and external lateral filtering walls 31, thus being shaped as a rectangular parallelepiped with no upper face, said face being normally formed by the lid 2, filtration basket 17 comprising in central part the central filtering wall 9 oriented along an axis perpendicular to its lower face, this axis being here coincides with the vertical axis 10 of the cleaning apparatus.
- this arrangement allows a favorable circulation of the dirty water in the filter basket, and maximizes the surface of the central filtering wall compared to the case of filtration basket comprising several sub-volumes.
- the central filtering wall 9 is of frustoconical shape, wider in the lower part than in the upper part (near the cover 2).
- the central filtering wall 9 is here filtering over practically its entire height, but in variants, it may be filtering only over part of its height.
- the filter basket 17 comprises a filter itself, attached by welding, gluing or any other means, on a rigid frame 32 openwork.
- the size of the filter mesh is naturally adapted to the size of the particles that the cleaning device must retain when moving in the pool.
- the filter basket 17 is extractable, that is to say it can be extracted from and introduced into the body 1 of the apparatus.
- the body 1 of the apparatus has for this purpose a housing in which the filter basket 17 can be mounted.
- the fact that the filter basket 17 is extractable makes it easy to empty, especially without having to handle the entire apparatus.
- the filter basket 17 is associated with a lid 2, which is removable in order to facilitate the cleaning of the filter basket 17 of the debris accumulated therein.
- the lid 2 is hermetically mounted on the filter basket 17 to prevent leakage of liquid laden with debris.
- the lid 2 forms an upper portion of the outer wall of the apparatus when the filter basket 17 is inserted into the housing of the apparatus.
- the lid 2 has a shape corresponding to the lateral shape of the filter basket 17, pierced at its center in order to provide a passage for the fairing 20 of helix 23 forming, by its upper end, the liquid outlet 4.
- the lid 2 comprises a locking means on the top of the filter basket 17, in the form of two lugs 40 (see FIG. figure 2 ) having return means closing on the upper longitudinal edges of the filter basket 17.
- the cover also comprises a locking means on the body 1, in the form of two lateral arcuate guides which cooperate, on the one hand, with corresponding slides formed in the upper lateral edges of the body 1, and, on the other hand, with an extraction handle 41 (see figure 2 ).
- a locking means on the body 1 in the form of two lateral arcuate guides which cooperate, on the one hand, with corresponding slides formed in the upper lateral edges of the body 1, and, on the other hand, with an extraction handle 41 (see figure 2 ).
- the handle 41 is itself locked by a pin 42 (see figure 2 ) on the lid 2 when the basket is inserted into the body 1, so as to prevent the filter basket 17 can move when the device is in operation.
- the user does not need to touch the debris during the extraction of the assembly formed by the filter basket and the lid. He can then move this set to the place where he will clean and, only at this point, remove the lid and return the basket to empty it. During all these manipulations, the user remained without direct contact with the dirt contained in the filter basket. Such a result is not achieved with the devices in which the lid is removed first, then the user must manipulate the open basket to remove it from the body of the cleaning robot. In this second case, the direct contact of the user with the dirt is almost inevitable, which generates an inconvenience of use.
- the filtration chamber 8 further comprises a central filtration wall 9 forming an integral part of the filtering basket 17.
- the central filtration wall 9 makes it possible to retain debris larger than the openings (or pores) of said filtering wall.
- This central filtration wall 9 is of substantially cylindrical or frustoconical shape. It is placed when the filter basket 17 is integrated in the body 1 of the pool cleaning device, around the motor and the propeller of the pumping circuit. This motor and this propeller 23 determine an axis 10, here called vertical axis, perpendicular to the guide plane, that is to say substantially vertical when the device is placed on a horizontal submerged surface. As has been said, the notions of "up” and “down” are determined along this axis 10 with respect to a surface on which the apparatus is placed via its driving and guiding device.
- the feed openings are located in an upper portion of the filtration chamber 8.
- the filtration chamber 8 is shaped to be able to impart to the liquid multiple swirling movements around the central filtration wall 9, these movements being of substantially vertical axis.
- an apparatus according to the invention does not include its own pump and is connected to an external hydraulic circuit, for example outside a swimming pool, comprising a pump and creating a suction at the end of a hose connectable to the hydraulic circuit of the device, for example level of its liquid outlet.
- the filtration chamber may comprise elements making it possible to modify the direction of the flow of a liquid in the filtration chamber, for example a blade, fixed vanes, walls creating local turbulence, etc.
- the upstream channels can be configured to introduce the liquid towards the bottom of the filtration chamber.
