Vorrichtung zum Herstellen von klebegebundenen Büchern, Broschuren, Magazinen oder dgl. Druckprodukten, wenigstens aufweisend • eine Transporteinrichtung für die zu einem Buchblock (1) als Innenteil der Druckprodukte gesammelten Falzbogen, Lagen und/oder Einzelblätter mit in einer geschlossenen Umlaufbahn kontinuierlich bewegbaren Buchblockzangen, • eine erste Zufuhrrichtung (c) parallel zur Längsrichtung der Buchblöcke (1) beim Fügen des Buchblocks (1) mit dem jeweiligen Umschlag (2), • einen ersten Förderabschnitt (15) der Umschläge (2) mit unterhalb der Bewegungsebene der Buchblocks (1) angeordneter Transporteinrichtung zum Zuführen vereinzelter Umschläge (2) entlang dieser ersten Zufuhrrichtung (c), wobei die Rückenlängsrichtung der Umschläge (2) im wesentlichen parallel zu der ersten Zufuhrrichtung (c) orientiert ist, • eine in diesem ersten Förderabschnitt (15) angeordnete Rilleinrichtung (13) zum Einbringen von wenigstens einer Rille (6) in jeweils einen Umschlag (2) zumindest entlang der Kanten dessen Rückenbereichs in Richtung der ersten Zufuhrrichtung (c), • eine Fügeeinrichtung (14) zum Anpressen des Umschlags (2) an den mit Klebstoff versehenen Rücken des Buchblocks (1) sowie • einen dem ersten Förderabschnitt (15) vorgelagerten zweiten Förderabschnitt (16), in welchem die Umschläge (2) oder Umschlagbögen (3) im wesentlichen senkrecht zu ihrer Rückenlängsrichtung transportiert werden, gekennzeichnet durch • eine Falzeinrichtung (10) der Vorrichtung im Bereich des zweiten Förderabschnittes (16), um die Umschlagbögen (3) parallel zu ihrer Rückenlängsrichtung zu falzen.
