  • the second section of the shank also includes the tailstock, which has the function of realising an undercut on the side opposite to the head, to ensure the axial locking between the pin, leg portion and foot portion.
  • the particular geometry/shape of the pin allows reducing the thickness of the pin itself and the portions of the leg portion and foot portion engaged in housing of the pin, since a uniform distribution of the stresses is obtained and local concentrations of mechanical stresses are avoided.
