Device for cutting a material web strip (2) of the tobacco processing industry, in particular of a filter joining paper strip, into material web strip sections (39), in particular filter joining paper strip, with a cutting device (2) for cutting the material web strip (2) and with a feeding device for feeding the material web strip (2) to the cutting device, wherein the cutting device is a cutting roller (32) and has a counter-roller (36), particularly a suction roller, cooperating with the cutting roller (32), wherein the material web strip (2) is guided between the cutting roller (32) and the counter-roller (36) and wherein the cutting roller (32) is made with several blades (34) in the circumferential direction according to any of the claims 1 to 7.
  9. Device according to claim 8, characterized in that in the circumferential direction the counter-roller (36) has grooves (38) for receiving the cutting guide sides (62.1, 62.2) of the blades (34), wherein in case of simultaneous rotation of the counter-roller (36) and the cutting roller (32), the cutting guide sides (62,1, 62,2) enter into a groove (38) of the counter-roller (36) and can be brought or are brought into contact with a side of the groove and then the cutting area (60) of the blade (34) can be guided or is guided into the groove of the counter-roller (36).
  10. Device according to claim 8 or 9, characterized in that the cutting edges (64) of the blade (34) in each case are aligned transverse to the circumferential direction of the cutting roller (32) and the cutting edges (64) are located parallel to the axis of rotation of the cutting roller (32).
  11. Device according to any of the claims 8 to 9, characterized in that the cutting device (30) is set up to make a full-edged cut at the time of cutting the material web strip (2).
  12. Device according to any of the claims 8 to 11, characterized in that the counter-roller (36) has grooves (38), aligned axially parallel, with in each case groove sides acting as cutting edge in the circumferential direction, wherein the forward groove side of the grooves (38) in the circumferential direction in each case is provided as cutting edge, wherein in particular the cutting edge is formed by means of a blade (52) located in the groove.
  13. Device according to any of the claims 8 to 12, characterized in that the preferably oscillator-free or eccentric-free feeding device for the material web strip (2) is set up to feed the material web strip (2) to the cutting device (30) with a constant conveying speed.
  14. Machine of the tobacco processing industry, in particular a filter attaching machine, having an arrangement according to any of the claims 8 to 13.
  15. Method for cutting a material web strip of the tobacco processing industry, in particular a filter joining paper strip, into material web strip sections (39), in particular filter joining paper strip sections, with the use of a device according to any of the claims 8 to 13.
