Claims (10)

  1. Seating/reclining furniture, in particular an armchair or a chair, comprising a seat part (10); a back part (12) which is connected to the seat part (10) pivotable about a pivot axis and which is adjustable in inclination with respect to the seat part (10); and a cantilever support structure (14) which supports the seat part (10) and the back part (12) and which has at least one support hoop (54) which comprises a base section (56), an at least approximately horizontally extending horizontal section (58) as well as a joint section (60) connecting the base section (56) and the horizontal section (58) to one another and enabling a pivoting of the horizontal section (58) relative to the base section (56), wherein the back part (12) is supported at the horizontal section (58) pivotable about a horizontal axis and the seat part (10) is compulsorily guided movable along the joint section (60),
    characterized in that
    a front support (48) of the seat part (10) has a smaller height than side supports (50) of the seat part (10) and is in particular spaced further from the floor than them; and
    in that a footrest apparatus (18) is furthermore provided which comprises a support frame (20), which is in particular rectangular, as well as a first and a second footrest section (22, 24),
    with the first footrest section (22) being pivotably supported at the support frame (20) and being adjustable between a support position in which the first footrest section (22) is arranged beneath and adjacent to the support frame (20) and a working position in which the first footrest section (22) projects over the seat part (10), and
    with the second footrest section (24) being adjustable in a straight line relative to the first footrest section (22) between a retracted position in which the footrest sections (22, 24) at least partly overlap and an extended position in which the second footrest section (24) projects over the first footrest section (22), and
    with the footrest apparatus (18) comprising a drive apparatus (26) which effects a pivoting of the first footrest section (22) relative to the support frame (20) by means of a first fitting (36), independently of a change of the relative position of the back part (12) and of the seat part (10) with respect to one another, as well as a relative movement of the second footrest section (24) to the first footrest section (22) by means of a second fitting (38).
  2. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with claim 1,
    characterized in that
    the first and second fittings (36, 38) are compulsorily coupled to one another.
  3. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with claim 1 or claim 2,
    characterized in that
    the drive apparatus (26) is manually operable, in particular by means of a lever (28).
  4. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the seat part (10) has a rectangular basic shape.
  5. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the seat part (10) comprises border plates (44) which are in particular padded by a foam material.
  6. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the lower side of the seat part (10) is configured for receiving the support frame (20).
  7. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the seat part (10) has at least one holding apparatus (52), in particular a latch connection, a screw connection, a weld connection and/or a slot guide, for the support frame (20).
  8. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with claim 7,
    characterized in that
    the holding apparatus (52) is arranged at the inner side of a side support (50) of the seat part (10).
  9. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the front support (48) of the seat part (10) is spaced further from the floor than the side supports (50).
  10. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    a front support (48) of the seat part (10) is configured in a straight line.
