Description

The invention relates to a upholstered furniture with a swing-in and swing foot rest. Such upholstered furniture is already known. A disadvantage of these known upholstered furniture is that they do not provide a desirable long footrest, they are severely limited in terms of possible shapes and / or have a low load capacity and / or are expensive to produce.

The invention has set itself the task of creating a upholstered furniture, which is improved at least with regard to one of the disadvantages mentioned.

This object is achieved by the reproduced in claim 1 upholstered furniture.

The upholstered furniture according to the invention has a footrest which can be pivoted in and out. Advantageously, the upholstered furniture also has a backrest whose inclination - preferably coupled with the pivoting state of the footrest - is variable. In this way, the upholstered furniture can be changed, for example, between a state with upright backrest and pivoted footrest, a state with upright backrest and swung-out footrest and a state with inclined backrest and with pivoted footrest. The footrest is held by two laterally arranged fittings. The fittings each comprise a foremost support area for the footrest and at least one further support area for the footrest. It is conceivable that a cross member is provided which extends from the foremost support region of a fitting to the foremost support region of the other fitting and supports the upholstery of the footrest. The two other support areas of the upholstered furniture can be connected in this way.

If the foremost support region precedes the further support region during the swiveling in of the footrest, at least over a region of the movement, then a prerequisite for a particularly advantageous movement of the foremost support region during the swiveling in of the footrest is created. Claims (9)

1.
