Claims (9)

  1. Bed frame (2) with spring slats which are adjustable in a horizontal plane and with at least one mounting element (20) for mounting of one end of at least one spring slat (4-7) on a longitudinal member (9) of the bed frame (2), wherein the mounting element (9) is displaceable along the longitudinal member (9) over any desired displacement length in that the mounting element (20) essentially consists of a housing (39) which receives the respective end of the spring slat (4-7) and in which there is at least one manually operated spring-loaded locking device which engages in associated receiving profiles in the longitudinal direction of the longitudinal member (9) and is lockable therein, characterised in that the receiving profile is embodied in the form of a locking rail (10) which extends in the longitudinal direction over the entire length of the longitudinal member (9) and carries an associated set of teeth into which the locking device engages under spring load, the locking device consisting of at least two locking latches (32) oriented in the opposite direction.
  2. Bed frame according to claim 1, characterised in that the unlocking in order to bring the at least two locking latches (32) out of spring-loaded engagement with the locking rail (10) is effected by means of a handle (34).
  3. Bed frame according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the locking latch (32) is connected with the handle (34) by means of a shaft (32) so that it cannot turn.
  4. Bed frame according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the mounting element (26) is held by at least one locking hook (23) which engages behind the undercut of the receiving profile (22).
  5. Bed frame according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the receiving profile is embodied in the form of a perforated rail which extends in the longitudinal direction over the length of the longitudinal member (9) and has an associated perforated profile (43).
  6. Bed frame according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the receiving profile is embodied in the form of a stamped profile (41) which is stamped in the metal profile of the longitudinal member (9) and extends in the longitudinal direction over the longitudinal member (9).
  7. Bed frame according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the locking device is a locking comb (45) which carries a multiplicity of locking elements which can be brought into engagement with a flat profile (44) in the longitudinal direction of the longitudinal member (9).
  8. Bed frame according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that additional mounting elements (20) which serve for reception of additional spring slats (4-7), can be clipped vertically into the receiving profile of the longitudinal member (9).
  9. Method for use of the product according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that with the aid of mutually differently spaced spring slats (4-7) different lying areas can be defined on the lying surface (1) in order to guarantee maximum support of the body at the desired body contact points of a person (13) with a high density of spring slats in these areas.
