Description

Field of the invention

The present invention relates to a belt holder with which a belt can be held on a garment. He is particularly useful for belts that are equipped with tools.

Background of the invention

Belts are usually worn to keep pants or other garments secure. But belts can be conveniently used in addition to wearing tools, as is common in the police or in the military. This is either a belt already worn on the pants used, or an additional belt, which serves as a separate tool belt. The need for such belts is great, for example, the US patent application discloses US 2010/0299905 A1 a holster worn with two loops on the belt. Recently, in addition to weapons and tools and phones and communication devices worn on the belt, the European patent application EP 1 070 464 discloses a corresponding holder for a mobile phone.

The heavier a belt is, the more important it is that it is well managed. The US patent application US 2002/145027 discloses a tool belt additionally equipped with a shoulder strap. There are also other approaches known to give belt safe hold. This is especially interesting if a garment does not have belt loops. The US patent US 4,788,723 discloses a belt holder which can be mechanically connected to and detached from the waistband. These jaws are used, as they are also known from suspenders. The belt itself is in a closed Led loop, which can be made for example of leather, plastic or metal.

The German Utility Model DE 20 13 757 U1 discloses a loop with which an auxiliary belt can be connected to a main belt. The main belt is probably an ordinary belt designed to ensure the fit of a garment. The auxiliary belt is guided in a loop-like bushing. This socket is connected to another socket so that together they form a double belt loop. The second socket is bounded to the rear by a socket wall, which is followed by a tab below. Behind the tab, a slot is provided through which the main belt is guided. By inserting the main belt into the slot and guiding the rear sleeve wall behind the main belt, the double belt loop is transferred to a position where it is supported by the main belt.

The document DE 10 2009 032501 A1 discloses a belt holder having the features of the preamble of claim 1.

The state of the art lacks a good solution with which a tool belt can be connected to a garment. The present invention seeks to improve the state of the art in this field. In particular, it should be possible to connect a tool belt comfortably and safely with various garments, without being forced to have to remove tools that are attached to the belt, each threading and re-threading.

This object is achieved with a belt holder according to claim 1.

Further description of the invention

The belt holder according to the invention thus has a base plate. This may have various shapes, for example, it may have a rectangular, square, elliptical or circular shape. Often, a rectangular shape is appropriate.

The base plate has connection means for connection to a garment. The connecting means may be male or female connecting means. Suitable connecting means are, for example, also passages, holes or recesses. For example, a rivet may be passed through such a recess and then connected to the garment. It could also be a part of a push button well mounted to the base plate and a corresponding part of the garment. It is considered that the base plate is sequentially connected to various garments. For this purpose, releasable connection means are expedient, for example push buttons, in which case corresponding push-button parts are to be provided on different items of clothing.

The bushings, in particular bushings for receiving other connecting means are particularly useful. As far as the position of bushings is explained in more detail below, but it is also contemplated to provide other connecting means at these positions, in particular the above-mentioned.

It is useful if in the base plate bushings are provided with surrounded troughs. Such troughs can accommodate parts of fasteners, in particular they can accommodate the heads of screws or the heads of rivets.

The base plate should have a first headband and a second headband. These brackets have the task of holding a belt. For this purpose, they are suitable to arrange on the base plate, so that a guide bushing for a belt is formed between the first retaining bracket, the second retaining bracket and the base plate.

Further, the headband to be arranged on the base plate so that an insertion is formed between the headband. Through this insertion groove, a belt should be able to be introduced in the direction of the base plate. It does not depend on the exact direction of the movement, but rather the direction should generally correspond to the insertion, so overall rather trimmed on the garment, as directed away from the garment.

As a rule, the insertion will also be suitable to remove the belt again from the belt holder.

It is expedient that the first retaining bracket has a connecting bow, which is connected to the base plate and further comprises a first guide plate. The first guide plate may then extend substantially parallel to the base plate. The first connecting arc has an at least approximately perpendicular direction to the base plate. So he makes above the base plate the connection with the first guide plate. This construction allows the guide bush to have two parallel boundaries in the manner of a groove, which limit the movements of the belt. The one boundary is formed by the first guide plate and the other of its opposite boundary is formed by a portion of the base plate. The first guide arc is suitably arcuate, in accordance with its name. However, even a straight shape of the first guide arc should not be excluded. Also, the first guide arc forms a boundary of the guide bushing for the belt.

Conveniently, the second headband is designed so that it has a connecting sheet, the second connecting arc, and a second guide plate. Again, the second connecting bow should be connected to the base plate and the second guide plate should be extend at least substantially parallel to the base plate. The advantages of this construction correspond to those described for the first headband benefits.

For the first as well as for the second connecting bow, it is expedient that it is reinforced by a bowstring. Such a bowstring can extend over the entire length of the connecting bow or over parts. Due to a certain required length of the guide plates can act on the corresponding connecting sheets a strong leverage. To make a shatterproof belt holder, a bowstring is very beneficial.

The exact design is of course also dependent on the material of the connecting sheets. In an expedient embodiment, the connecting sheets have the same material as the corresponding guide plates and they can also have the same material as the base plate. Suitable materials are, for example, plastics. Alternatively, of course, the belt holder could be made of metal or a variety of rigid or semi-rigid materials. However, it is advantageous if all parts of the belt holder are made of the same material. If a plastic is chosen as the material, it is then possible, for example, to efficiently manufacture the belt holder by injection molding. Especially in those cases where all parts of the belt holder are made of the same material, a bowstring to reinforce the otherwise possibly excessively loaded connecting bows is appropriate. Incidentally, the provision of a bowstring also allows for a more elegant and aesthetically pleasing construction of the connecting arches.

It has proved to be useful to make the belt holder so that the first guide plate is longer than the second guide plate. This causes the insertion groove closer to the connection of the retaining clip with the shorter guide plate than at the connection of the retaining clip with the longer guide plate with the base plate. If the connection of the headband with the base plate is done in each case by a connecting bow, then the insertion is closer to a connecting bow than at the other connecting bow. As a rule, this arrangement leads to a belt being easier to insert into the insertion groove. In addition, he experiences particularly strong hold by the headband with the longer guide plate. It is particularly useful if the longer guide plate is arranged on the headband, which is up when wearing the belt holder. In this way, the belt pushes up under the extra long guide plate. This usually results in the belt not twisting or buckling. A short lower guide plate is sufficient to prevent slipping out of the belt down.

From these considerations, a belt holder is considered to be useful, which extends in a longitudinal direction and in a transverse direction perpendicular thereto and in which the longitudinal direction in the carrying position is substantially vertical and the transverse direction in the carrying position is substantially horizontal and which in the longitudinal direction a horizontal centerline is bisected and then the insertion groove is below this centerline.

Also contemplated is a belt retainer wherein the base plate assumes a first length in the transverse direction and the first retainer occupies a second length in the transverse direction and the second retainer occupies a third length in the transverse direction, the first length being greater than the second length and as the third length. At a minimum, the first length should be greater than the second length or the third length.

An over a relatively long first length extending base plate ensures that a secure connection with the garment is possible.

When a garment is formed from a non-very ripstop fabric, anchor points are distributed over a major portion of the fabric, avoiding tearing or tearing of the belt holder. For the guidance of a generally stable belt are not so wide headband unproblematic in the transverse direction.

In order to obtain a favorable insertion groove and also for aesthetic reasons, it is expedient if the second length and the third length are the same. In other words, the first headband and the second headband may be the same width.

It is also expedient to have a belt holder which is halved in the longitudinal direction by a horizontal center line, wherein this longitudinal direction again extends essentially vertically in the carrying position and in which a fastening element is provided in each case above and below the center line. This arrangement again ensures that the base plate can be anchored easily and safely and damage to the garment is avoided.

For corresponding reasons, it has proven to be expedient to provide a belt holder which has a vertical center line and in which a fastening element is provided on each side of the center line. It is also expedient to provide in each case a connecting element on both sides of the first and / or the second retaining clip.

As suggested, the belt holder can be made from a variety of semi-rigid, rigid to solid materials. In this case, metal is not excluded. It is advantageous if all corners and edges of the belt holder are rounded, optionally deburred or defused. Such materials, when in contact with textiles, may cause wear of the fabrics or tearing. Of the Belt holder is usually firmly connected to a textile, for example, with a pair of pants. However, the belt holder may be covered by a sweater, jacket or the like.

It is advantageous if he does not scrub such a garment and in particular does not connect to this hooked or the like. As a particularly interesting aspect of the present invention, it is proposed that the first retaining bracket, at least in sections, is closer to the base plate than the second retaining bracket. Thus, when the first headband rises above the base at a first height and the second headband rises above the base at a second height, the second height should be greater than the first height. This can apply to the average height of the retaining bracket. It is often sufficient if the second height in the vicinity of the insertion is greater than the first height. In a typical movement of a pullover over the belt holder, this arrangement results in the sweater not being accidentally caught in the insertion groove. Therefore, a movement reduction and at the same time damage to a pullover or similar garment can be avoided.

It is also expedient if recesses are provided in the base plate. Such recesses allow weight and material savings of the base plate. You can also make the base plate aesthetically more interesting.

Recesses can also be provided in the form of decorative recesses. A decorative recess, for example, have the shape of a letter or the shape of a logo or brand lettering.

In a corresponding manner, a second guide plate 30 adjoins the second connecting bow 26 of the second retaining clip 22. This is considerably shorter than the opposite first guide plate 28. Between the two brackets 20, 22 is the insertion 32. Through this belt 46 can be introduced. In this case, the belt 46 is typically guided from below, ie beyond the second retaining bracket 22, into the insertion groove 32 and then under the first guide plate 28 along to the first connecting bow 24. From the foregoing description and drawings, it will be readily appreciated how a very convenient belt retainer 10 can be made easily and inexpensively.

Claims (14)

1. A belt holder (10), which has a base plate (12), wherein the base plate (12) has connection means (14) for connection to an item of clothing and the base plate (12) has a first retaining clip (20) and a second retaining clip (22), which are arranged on the base plate (12) such that a guide sleeve for a belt is created between the first retaining clip (20), the second retaining clip (22) and the base plate (12), wherein an insertion groove (32) is provided between the first retaining clip (20) and the second retaining clip (22), through which insertion groove a belt can be introduced in a direction towards the base plate (12), wherein the first retaining clip (20) is connected by means of a first connecting arch (24) to the base plate (12) and the second retaining clip (22) is connected by means of a second connecting arch (26) to the base plate (12), characterised in that the first connecting arch (24) and/or the second connecting arch (26) are/is reinforced by a chord (38).
