The invention relates to a bag with a front wall and a rear wall arranged parallel to the front wall, a bottom which can be folded into the plane of the walls, so that there is a filling space open on one side, and a pair of handles which are fastened to the front wall and the rear wall. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for producing a bag with a front wall and a rear wall arranged parallel to the front wall, a bottom which can be folded into the plane of the walls, so that a filling space which is open on one side results, and a pair of handles which are attached to the front wall and the Rear wall is attached.

From the EP 0 781 710 A1 discloses a bag with a handle, the bag having two parallel walls and a bottom foldable into the plane of the walls. The two handles each have two parallel legs and a web connecting them. In addition, the handles have fastening sections formed on their legs, which are fastened to the outer walls of the bag, as a result of which the actual fastening of the handles is achieved. In addition, the handle has fold lines so that the handle can be folded back, so that both handles do not protrude beyond the walls of the bag when folded back.

It is also from Scripture US 2,985,355 A discloses a pouch and a method for producing a pouch, the pouch having a front wall and a rear wall arranged parallel to the front wall and a base which can be folded into the plane of the walls. This creates a filling space that is open on one side. Furthermore, the bag discloses a pair of handles which are attached to the front wall and the rear wall according to the preamble of claim 1.

In this way, the formation of a compact stack or package of bags lying flat one above the other is made possible, but when stacking in the area of the pairs of handles, particularly when attached to the outside of the bag, a relatively strong material build-up occurs. This makes it difficult to stack the bags and package them into a compact package. In addition, it has been shown that waste to be avoided is produced during the manufacture of the pairs of handles.

The object of the present invention is to avoid the disadvantages mentioned above, in particular to create a bag, as well as a method for producing bags and a machine system for producing bags, in which the bag can be stacked better and the formation of more compact stacks or Packages is possible. In addition, the efficiency for the production of the bag is to be increased.

According to the invention, these objects are achieved by all the features of claims 1 and 12. Preferred embodiments are described in the respective dependent claims.

According to the invention it is provided that the pair of handles can be brought into a position of use and into a rest position, the pair of handles being folded back completely within the filling space in the rest position and the pair of handles protruding at least in regions from the filling space in the position of use, the pair of handles being one Has fold line which is arranged in the use position in and / or on the filling space. A major advantage of the invention is that when the pairs of handles are in the rest position, a very flat bag in the folded state is achieved, which is a small one Material build-up required when stacking the bags. The pairs of handles are flat according to the invention and thus favor a small transport volume. Another advantage of the pairs of handles that are folded within the filling space is that there is no risk of the pairs of handles being damaged during transport or when the bags are being stacked.

According to the invention, it is further provided that the pair of carrying handles has two handles which are fastened to the front wall and the rear wall within the filling space, one handle being fastened to the inside of the front wall and the further handle being fastened to the inside of the rear wall. In their position of use, the handles advantageously form aligned handle openings, as a result of which the wearing comfort for the user is significantly increased. In addition, it is conceivable that each handle is formed from several layers of material, whereby the pair of handles is reinforced.

It is also in accordance with the invention that the handle is part of a carrier element which is fastened to the inside of the front wall or / or to the inside of the back wall. Within the scope of the bag according to the invention, the invention includes the carrier element being designed as a slip. It is particularly advantageous that this carrier element is inexpensive to manufacture, and at the same time an inside fastening of the carrier element to the front wall and to the rear wall can be carried out quickly.

Furthermore, the invention can provide that the attachment takes place cohesively on both walls, in particular a hot glue connection or a cold glue connection being present. The hot melt can comprise at least one of the following ingredients: base polymer, resin, stabilizers, wax, nucleating agent. The base polymer is, for example, PA (polyamides), PE (polyethylene), APAO (amorphous polyalphaolefins), EVAC (ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers), TPE-E (thermoplastic polyester elastomers), TPE-U (thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers), TPE-A (Thermoplastic copolyamide elastomers). Rosin and / or terpenes and / or hydrocarbon resins can be used as the resin. According to the invention, antioxidants and / or metal deactivators and / or light stabilizers, for example, can be used for stabilizers. With regard to the nucleating agents, it is conceivable according to the invention to add these for modifying partially crystalline plastics. These ensure that the Crystal formation occurs at a higher temperature. Using the hot glue has the advantage that a wide variety of materials can be glued. In addition, unevenness of the surfaces to be glued can be easily compensated.

One advantage of using cold glue is that very high machine speeds can be achieved with cold glue technology. In addition, the cold glue is relatively easy to apply.

In one possible embodiment, the bag according to the invention can have a carrier element which is punched out or lasered or perforated such that the handle can be folded out of the carrier element according to the invention. A major advantage of this embodiment is that there is no waste during the manufacture of the pairs of handles. In the rest position, the handle is fully integrated in the carrier element and more or less forms a unit. The carrier element advantageously has a flat shape which requires little volume within the bag.

It is also possible according to the invention that the carrier element is arranged flush with the edge of the front wall and / or the rear wall, the edge being arranged opposite the floor. It has been shown that the stacking of the bags can be improved in terms of compactness by such a measure. For example, it is conceivable that the carrier element is rectangular and / or square. In addition, it can make sense in individual applications, based on the bag, that the carrier element has a material thickness that is greater than that of the front wall and / or the rear wall. Alternatively and / or additionally, the invention includes that the carrier element is made from a material-reinforced and / or fabric-reinforced paper and / or fabric and / or non-woven or from a plastic. According to the invention, the carrier element can have a weight of approximately 200 g / m 2 to 300 g / m 2 . According to the invention, the carrier element can have a weight of less than 200 g / m 2 , preferably have a weight of less than 100 g / m 2 , particularly preferably have a weight of less than 65 g / m 2 . Another advantage is that the carrier element serves as an edge reinforcement for the bag, which is not visible on the outside. It is also conceivable that the carrier element is arranged at a distance from the edge of the front wall and / or rear wall.

The fold line can also be arranged on the edge of the front wall and / or the rear wall. Here, too, the present invention understands that the fold line of the pair of handles is in the filling space. The fold line can also only emerge as a crease line when the pairs of handles are transferred from the rest position into the use position. The fold line can also arise during the manufacturing process of the bag or be broken, for example if the carrier elements with the pairs of handles are created before the carrier element is brought onto the material web.

Furthermore, a bag according to the invention comprises the feature that an opening aid is implemented on the edge of the front wall or the rear wall, in particular that the opening aid is designed as a recess. In order to use the folded bag, the user can use the opening aid to press the bag more easily in the direction of the front wall and / or rear wall so that, for example, objects can be placed in the filling space. The geometry of the opening aid can be semicircular so that, for example, a thumb or finger can be guided through this opening aid in a more targeted manner. Further geometrical shapes of the opening aid are conceivable.

It is also conceivable that the edge is perforated and / or felted out and / or frayed. The peripheral edge of the bag is thus made blunt, without there being a risk of cutting for the user at the edge of the bag. The bag is advantageously formed from a paper material and can be used in a wide variety of ways in the form of a flexible bag. According to the invention, the specially designed edge can be microscopically felt-like, which creates a relatively "soft" edge. According to the invention, the edge can be designed like a perforation, which means that this edge is or has been created on the bag, for example, by a tear-off process.

The handle of the bag according to the invention can have the shape of an advertising medium, in particular the handle can be M-shaped. This advertising medium can, for example, refer to the content of the bag or provide the user with a brand reference.

The invention includes that the front wall and / or the rear wall have a viewing window or a viewing strip or a net. The viewing window is preferably made of a transparent material. The transparent material enables the user to at least partially inspect the cavity of the bag.

In addition, it can be provided according to the invention that at least one side fold runs between the front wall and the rear wall. The gusset may have one or more gussets. The side fold advantageously extends from the opening or from the edge of the bag in the direction of the bottom. The function of the side fold is that the filling space or the cavity within the bag can be reliably enlarged by pushing the front wall and the rear wall away from one another by the user. When the pouch is not in use, both walls can lie on top of one another, the side folds being able to lie between these two walls.

The bottom of the bag according to the invention can be designed as a cross bottom or as a block bottom or as a flat and gusseted bottom or as a folded bottom or as a pinch bottom. An advantage of using a cross bottom is that a lot of space can be created on the front wall and on the back wall of the bag, which can increase the filling volume. In addition, the bag has a larger "face" on the outer walls, for example to serve as an information carrier and / or advertising medium. A particular advantage of the block bottom is that the stability of the bag is improved by such a bottom, especially if the bag has gussets.

In addition, the above-mentioned object is achieved by a method for producing at least one bag, the bag being designed with a front wall and a rear wall arranged parallel to the front wall, the bag also having a bottom which can be folded into the plane of the walls, so that a filling space open on one side results. Furthermore, the bag has a pair of handles which are fastened to the front wall and to the rear wall, the method according to the invention comprising the following steps:
  1. a) attaching two spaced-apart support elements to a translationally moving material web, at least one fold-out handle being integrated on the support element,
  2. b) hose formation of the material web so that the material web forms a hose and the carrier elements lie one above the other,
  3. c) separation of the material web so that individual tube sections with at least two superimposed support elements are formed which lie within the tube,
  4. d) folding the hose so that at least one base is formed, further details being set out in claim 12.

The result is a bag which has the advantages which have already been mentioned with regard to the bag according to the invention, based on independent claim 1. In addition, the method according to the invention is characterized by a high manufacturing efficiency based on the number of bags that can be produced. The material web can also be a single sheet of material, in particular paper sheet, which has a beginning and an end.

Advantageously, it is conceivable that step d) takes place before step c), which means that the base can already be folded before a separation of the material web. This is conceivable, for example, if the bottom is folded as a block bottom bag or as a cross bottom bag.

Before step b), an opening aid can advantageously be introduced at the edge region of one of the two carrier elements, in particular the opening aid can be designed as a material recess in the carrier element and in the material web. It is thus achieved that only one of the two bag walls is equipped with an opening aid.

Furthermore, the method according to the invention can be carried out in such a way that the carrier element has two fold-out handles which are arranged one behind the other in step a) in the direction of the material web movement. As a result, the efficiency for producing the bags can be doubled. In addition, it is conceivable that an opening aid is introduced centrally on one of the two carrier elements before step b), in particular that the opening aid is designed as a material recess in the carrier element and in the material web. A hole punch or a circular hole punch can effect this material recess. The geometry of the recess can, for. B. as follows be: circular, oval, square, angular, rectangular, polygonal. Alternatively and / or additionally, the method can be carried out according to the invention in such a way that the support elements lying one above the other are aligned and arranged relative to one another perpendicularly to the direction of material movement in step b) when applied to the material web after step a).

In the case of a carrier element with two fold-out handles, it is advantageous if in step d) two bottoms lying opposite one another are folded and then the tube formed is trimmed in the center with bottoms and carrier elements, so that two bags are created. Efficiency can thus be doubled, since two bags are created simultaneously in one process cycle.

In a further embodiment of the invention, it can make sense that after step a) or before step a), a perforation line is applied to the material web perpendicular to the direction of material web movement. In particular, a perforation line can make sense if the bottom is folded as a flat and gusseted bottom.

According to the invention, the carrier element can be punched or perforated or lasered before step a) in such a way that at least one handle that can be folded out of the carrier element is produced. It is also conceivable that two fold-out handles are created in a carrier element. It should also be noted that there is no material waste, which is advantageous from an environmental point of view.

Advantageously, the transport direction of the material web or the hose or the hose section in step a) to step b) or to step c) is perpendicular to the transport direction for step d) and / or for the step for severing the hose, which has two opposite floors. It also includes that the transport directions that are perpendicular to one another can also lie one above the other.

It is particularly advantageous that the direction of transport of the material web or the hose or the hose section in step d) is transverse to the longitudinal extension of the bag, as a result of which the efficiency in the bottom folding can be increased.

In addition, a machine system can be provided for producing a bag with a front wall and a rear wall arranged parallel to the front wall, a bottom which can be folded into the plane of the walls, so that a filling space is open on one side, and a pair of handles which are on the front wall and the rear wall is fixed within the filling space. Here, the machine system has the following units or machine components:
  1. a) device for applying at least one pair of handles to a material web,
  2. b) hose forming device with which the material web can be brought into the form of a hose,
  3. c) separating device with which the tubular material web can be separated into tubular sections in such a way that the pair of carrying handles remain concealed within the tubular section,
  4. d) Floor layer, with which at least one floor can be folded on the hose.

Advantageously, according to a) the device can be suitable to apply two pairs of handles on the material web, whereby according to d) the floor layer can be suitable to fold two floors lying opposite one another, wherein a separating device can be provided with which the tube section formed with floors and support elements is centered is severable so that two bags can be created. For example, the separating device can make a serrated cut so that a blunt, non-cutting edge is created on the bag. It can also be provided that the cut is carried out by the separating device in such a way that a perforated edge or felted edge or a frayed edge is produced, which likewise reduces the risk of injury at the edge. The floor layer can be designed as a floor formation unit, which can advantageously also be integrated in a separate unit of the machine system. Alternatively, a smooth edge is conceivable, which can be used, for example, in the case of a light bag material, without there being any risk of the user being injured at the edge.

Furthermore, the machine system can be further developed such that the device according to a) is suitable for introducing an opening aid on one of the two carrier elements, in particular that the opening aid as one Material recess is carried out in the carrier element and in the material web. As long as the material web has not yet been formed as a tube, it is particularly advantageous to provide one of the two carrier elements with the opening aid. Alternatively, it may also be conceivable to integrate the function of introducing an opening aid into the carrier element in the hose formation unit according to b) or in the units for separating the material web or in the floor layer.

The machine system includes the possibility that the device according to a) as well as the hose forming device and the separating device and the floor layer are integrated within one unit. This is particularly feasible if the machine system works without a separating device, in which a carrier element is used in the device for applying a pair of handles to a material web, in which only a fold-out handle is integrated.

Alternatively, it is conceivable that the device according to a) and the hose forming device and the separating device are integrated in a first unit and the floor layer and the separating device are integrated in a second unit. Such an arrangement can be advantageous if, according to the device for applying a pair of carrying handles to a material web, a carrier element is used in which two fold-out handles are integrated, which are arranged one behind the other in the direction of the material web movement.

With the machine system mentioned, all process steps can be implemented, which are claimed in the process claims. The machine system can also produce pouches that can claim the features described in claims 1 to 16.

In the Figures 3 to 8 Possible alternative embodiments of a bag 10 according to the invention are shown. In the case of the bag 10 not yet in use, that is to say after its production or in its transport state, the bag 10 is folded flat, which, for example, in FIG Figure 1 , 3rd , Figure 4 and Figure 6 is shown. In this state, the front wall 11 and the rear wall 12 of the bag 10 lie directly on top of one another, the bag 10 having a bottom 13 which can be folded into the plane of the walls 11, 12. If the user now wants to use this bag 10, both walls 11, 12 can be folded apart, so that a filling space 14 which is open on one side is obtained, which in FIG Figure 5 is shown.

In addition, the bag 10 has a pair of handles 31 which is fastened to the inner sides 16, 17 of the walls 11, 12. Here, the pair of carrying handles 31 has two handles 32, 33 which are fastened within the filling space 14 on the inner sides 16, 17 of the front wall 11 and the rear wall 12. This is used in the Figures 3 to 5 clear.

Each handle 32, 33 is part of a carrier element 30, which in Figure 1 and 2nd is also shown. In the illustrated embodiment, the carrier element 30 can be designed as a slip. Here, the carrier element 30 is punched out or lasered or perforated in such a way that the handle 32, 33 can be folded out of the carrier element 30, which in FIG Figures 3 and 4 is shown schematically. In Figure 3 the pair of handles 31 is in a rest position 2, in which the pair of handles 31 is located completely within the filling space 14. According to Figure 4 the position of use 1 of the pair of handles 31 is shown, in which the pair of handles 31 protrude from the filling space 14.

In der letztgenannten Ausführungsform befindet sich gemäß des Erfindungsgedankens die Faltlinie 15 ebenfalls im Füllraum 14.The pair of carrying handles 31 has a fold line 15 which is located in the filling space 14, the fold line 15 also being able to be located on the edge 18 of the bag 10 or on the front wall 11 or the rear wall 12. In the latter embodiment, the folding line 15 is also in the filling space 14 according to the inventive concept.

According to the exemplary embodiments shown, the carrier element 30 is arranged flush with the edge 18 of the front wall 11 and the rear wall 12. It is conceivable that the carrier element 30 can also be arranged at a distance from the edge 18 on the inside of the bag 10. The edge 18 is located opposite the floor 13. According to Figure 1 to 6 and 8, the carrier element 30 is rectangular. The handle 32, 33 represents part of the carrier element 30, which in the exemplary embodiments shown is attached to the inner sides 16, 17 of the walls 11, 12 in a material-locking manner. A hot glue connection or a cold glue connection can be used here.

According to Figure 1 and Figure 2 The bag 10 can have a recess 19 on the edge 18 of the front wall 11 or the rear wall 12, which serves as an opening aid in order to unfold the still-folded bag 10 in order to guide and place objects in the filling space 14. The opening aid 19 is semicircular in the exemplary embodiments shown. So that when the bag 10 is unfolded, the user does not experience any injuries on the edge 18 of the walls 11, 12 of the bag 10, the edge 18 is “blunt”, which means that the edge 18 is perforated and / or felted out and / or frayed, for example educated.

The handle 32, 33 or the pair of carrying handles 31 can have various geometric shapes, wherein the handle 32, 33 can have the shape of an advertising medium which, for example, in Figure 8 is shown. Here, the handle 32, 33 has an M-shaped shape. In addition, each exemplary embodiment of the invention has a pair of handles 31 which has a handle opening 34 so that the user can reliably grip the pair of handles 31 in the use position 1 of the handles 32, 33.

In Figure 6 it is shown that the bag 10 can have a transparent viewing window 20 on the front wall 11 and / or on the rear wall 12 so that the user can see into the filling space 14. The bottom 13 of the bag 10 can be designed differently, for example it is conceivable that the bottom 13 according to Figure 1 and 2nd is designed as a cross bottom 13a or block bottom 14b or as a flat and gusseted bottom 13c. The carrier element 30 can be made from a material-reinforced and / or fabric-reinforced paper and / or fabric and / or flow. It is also conceivable that the carrier element 30 is formed from a plastic. In the exemplary embodiments shown, the bag 10 is made from a paper material. It is conceivable that the carrier element 30 has a weight of approximately 200 g / m 2 to 300 g / m 2 .

According to Figure 1 and Figure 2 For example, a bag 10 can be made or manufactured which, for example, Figure 3 to Figure 8 is shown. In Figure 1 and Figure 2 The carrier elements 30 are first produced in a device 50 with the foldable handles 32, 33 Figure 1 each carrier element 30 has a fold-out handle 32, 33. In Figure 2 each carrier element 30 has two handles 32, 33 arranged opposite one another. In the device 60, two spaced-apart carrier elements 30 are attached to the translationally moving material web 3 from which the bag 10 is made. The material web 3 moves in the direction of the arrow which bears the reference number 6. The device 60 also forms the tube of the material web 3, so that the material web 3 forms a tube 4 and the carrier elements 30 lie one on top of the other within the tube 4. The material web 3 is then separated in the separating device 70, so that individual hose sections 5 with two superimposed support elements 30 are formed, which lie within the hose 4 and touch. In the subsequent floor layer 80 (= Bottom formation unit) the hose 4 or the hose section 5 can be folded, so that according to Figure 1 a floor 13 and according Figure 2 two floors 13 arise.

According to Figure 1 it is also conceivable that first a floor layer 80 becomes active on the material web 3 after the device 60 and folds a floor 13 on the hose 4 before the material web 3 is subsequently separated.

Depending on the floor layer 80, different floor shapes, such as cross floor 13a, block floor 13b or flat and gusseted floor 13c, can be folded, which of course also applies to Figure 2 can relate. According to Figure 1 the manufacturing cycle after the floor layer 80 is ended, so that the end product is the bag 10. According to Figure 2 After the floor layer 80, a central severing of the hose section 5 takes place through both carrier elements 30, so that two bags 10 are subsequently formed.

It can also be provided in the device 60 that a perforation line 21 is applied to the material web 3 perpendicular to the material movement direction 6. The perforation line 21 can serve to favor the separation in the device 70.

The opening aid 19 can be introduced within the device 60 at the edge region of one of the two carrier elements 30, in the present exemplary embodiment according to FIG Figure 1 and Figure 2 the opening aid 19 is designed as a material recess in the carrier element 30 and in the material web 3. This is due to the fact that, in the separating device 90, the tube section 5, which is provided with a bottom 13 on both sides, is cut centrally through the recess 19. Subsequently, both bags 10 have an opening aid 19 which corresponds to the opening aid 19 Figure 1 corresponds. Only the efficiency in the production of the bags 10 in can be Figure 2 double.

According to Figure 1 All units 50, 60, 70, 80 can be integrated within one unit (= machine unit) of the machine system 100. According to Figure 2 it is conceivable that the device 50 and / or 60 and 70 are integrated in a first unit and the Floor layer 80 and the separating device 90 are combined within a second unit. The tennis device 90 can also be integrated in a separate unit.
