Definitions

  • the invention relates to a liner for a sports shoe and, more particularly, an inner liner for an alpine ski, cross-country ski or snowboard boot.
  • Certain sports shoes and, in particular, alpine ski boots are equipped with an inner liner having, on the one hand, thermal insulation properties and comprising, on the other hand, means for protecting the foot of the skier both against shocks and with respect to the support stresses exerted by the rigid outer shell of the boot.
  • This liner intended to be positioned inside the shell of the boot is generally removable and is therefore intended to improve the comfort of the skier while ensuring a wedging of the foot to ensure effective and sensitive control as well as precise transmission. mechanical support on the skis via the boots.
  • the relatively rigid outer shell of the shoe has a collar articulated on a rod and in certain embodiments the outer shell is equipped with a system for locking the pivoting of the collar backwards in ski mode and for unlocking its rearward pivoting in walking mode to allow the cuff to pivot rearward and facilitate the skier's walking despite the rigidity and weight of the boot.
  • the liner it is often made up of several layers and generally comprises an outer layer intended to provide hold to the liner, and an internal trim lining intended to be in contact with the foot.
  • trim elements forming padding are interposed, during manufacture, between the outer layer and the inner lining of the liner and are arranged on the inner wall of the outer layer, at least in the rear part of the liner, sometimes also extending over the side parts.
  • connection zone between the upper part and the lower part of the liner is articulated to adapt the liner to shoe shells whose collar pivots relative to the upper, in order to facilitate the walk of the skier.
  • This connecting zone is then subjected to significant deformations which weaken the interior lining.
  • the WO 2014/139711 A1 and the JP H0249601 describe liners for ski boots whose lower part is more flexible than the rigid upper part because the latter is more particularly intended for the transmission of forces from the leg to the ski.
  • slippers are not intended to be fitted to ski boots offering any possibility of bending backwards to facilitate walking.
  • the connecting line is positioned in the zone of rotation of the heel of the foot during fitting, that is to say precisely where the friction between the foot and the liner as well as the deformation are very high.
  • connection zone between the upper part and the lower part of the liner on the outer layer sometimes has rigid parts and protruding seams which are likely to prove to be aggressive and which it is therefore necessary to insulate and screen to protect the user's foot.
  • the object of the present invention is to solve the technical problems posed by the prior art by proposing an liner provided with an improved lining.
  • the upper end of the lower element is positioned at a height of between 1/2 and 2/3 of the total height of the liner.
  • the upper end of the lower element is formed by a tab.
  • the lower element is made with an elastically deformable material while the upper element is made with a material of greater hardness.
  • the upper and lower elements of the packing layer consist of joined parts.
  • the filling layer is glued to the inner wall of the outer layer of the liner.
  • the liner of the invention further comprises an internal covering layer.
  • This layer is then attached to the inner wall of the intermediate packing layer.
  • the inner covering layer consists of several parts including an intermediate band covering the top end of the lower element of the packing layer.
  • this articulation zone is a folding zone provided with a series of deformable strips.
  • the lower element covers the series of slats.
  • Another object of the invention is a shoe equipped with a liner as defined above.
  • the liner of the invention offers comfortable padding, more precise wedging and greater ease of use by guiding and promoting the passage of the foot in the liner both during its introduction and of its extraction.
  • the packing in at least two elements makes it possible to separate the functional zones and to position them in a specific way by optimizing each of them by adjusting its profile, its geometry and a specific choice of its constituent material.
  • This configuration also makes it possible to reduce the risk of tearing off the intermediate lining and to better adapt to the liners whose upper part is articulated on the lower part.
  • the slipper represented on the figure 2A is intended for use in an alpine ski boot shell.
  • the slipper as illustrated by the figure 2B comprises an outer layer 4 in two parts, respectively a lower part 1 and an upper part 2, intended to provide hold to the liner and an internal trim lining 5 intended to be in contact with the foot.
  • elements of lining are introduced and joined together, during manufacture, to form the intermediate layer 3 of lining between the outer layer 4 and the inner lining 5 of the liner.
  • the upper 2 and lower 1 parts are connected to a complementary front part A, to a sole S and to a front tongue L.
  • the two parts 1, 2 forming the outer layer 4 of the liner are optionally made of different materials, polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyurethane (PU) or any other material likely to be used for make an outer shoe upper.
  • PE polyethylene
  • PVC polyvinyl chloride
  • PU polyurethane
  • the upper part 2 of the outer layer 4 of the liner is generally more rigid than the lower part 1 which is substantially more flexible.
  • the rigidity of the upper part 2 of the liner can be obtained by adding elements of the plastic plate type, covered with a textile layer.
  • the upper 2 and lower 1 parts are produced independently of one another and are juxtaposed or superposed and then assembled subsequently by gluing or by sewing, for example by a zigzag seam.
  • the lower part 1 can be made in a single piece or can possibly consist of two sides 1a and 1b respectively left and right, assembled edge to edge by sewing or gluing along their median vertical axis, as illustrated by the figure 1 .
  • the outer layer 4 of the liner shown flat on the figure 1 , is shaped by bringing together on the front of the liner, the two ends of the sides 1a, 1b.
  • the connecting zone 12 between the upper and lower parts of the liner can be wavy or rectilinear in shape depending on the embodiment envisaged.
  • the connecting zone 12 between the upper and lower parts of the liner is a connecting line 12a of wavy shape.
  • the slipper which is in contact with the foot and which is positioned inside a rigid shell made up of a rod and a collar articulated on this rod, must be able to adapt to the pivoting of the collar of the shoe relative to its upper, in particular towards the rear so as not to interfere with walking.
  • the liner can also be provided with an articulation zone, for example, a folding zone 13, located near the connecting zone 12, between the upper part 2 and the lower part 1, as shown in figure 4 .
  • an articulation zone for example, a folding zone 13, located near the connecting zone 12, between the upper part 2 and the lower part 1, as shown in figure 4 .
  • the articulation zone is constituted by the production of deformable strips 11 spaced apart from vertical slots 10 located at the rear of the liner within its outer layer 4.
  • the slipper illustrated on the figure 1 flat and developed before shaping and assembly, also includes an intermediate layer of filling 3.
  • This padding layer 3 is generally glued to the inner face of the outer layer of the liner.
  • the packing layer comprises at least two elements, respectively, an upper element 32 and a lower element 31 provided with an upper guide tongue 31a extending above the connecting zone 12 between the upper 2 and lower 1 parts. of the slipper.
  • the connecting zone 12 is provided with a hinge or a flexible element (not shown) allowing the bending of the upper part 2 relative to the lower part 1, the tongue 31a must be able to follow this deformation so as not to block or hinder this pivoting movement.
  • This embodiment of the packing layer 3, in at least two constituent elements 31, 32, makes it possible to individualize and optimize the specific functions of each of the packing elements both in terms of the constituent materials and their profile and their dimensions (in particular thickness, width and height).
  • the padding layer 3 also participates in the rigidity of the entire liner and in particular contributes to giving more rigidity to the upper part than to the lower part.
  • the lower element 31 of the packing layer 3 is produced, like the upper element 32, by cutting out a sheet of foam.
  • These elements 31, 32 are made, for example, of PE, EPDM, EVA, chipboard, or any material generally used in a cushioning function.
  • the lower element 31 will be made with an elastically flexible and deformable material, while the upper element 32 will be made with a material of greater hardness.
  • the upper element 32 is made, for example, of PE with a density of between 90 and 110 kg/m 3 and the lower element 31 is made, for example, of EPDM with a density of between 65 and 110 kg/m 3 .
  • the lower element 31 is cut according to a pattern (dimensions and profile) such that its upper end extends, at a height situated at least above of the rotation zone of the heel of the foot when introducing the foot into the liner.
  • the upper end of the lower element 31 corresponds to the upper end of the tongue 31a.
  • This rotation zone of the heel of the foot is schematized on the figure 5 at the cutting plane.
  • the foot When putting on the foot, the foot is introduced into a vertical position, then pivots to reach a horizontal position at the bottom of the liner and flat on the sole S. This pivoting zone corresponds to the rotation zone of the heel R illustrated on the figure 5 .
  • the upper end of the lower element 31 is, in the variant illustrated, the upper end of the tongue 31a extends at least above the connecting zone 12 between the upper part and the lower part, to be positioned at a height of between 1/2 and 2/3 of the total height of the liner.
  • the dimensions as well as the shape chosen for the tongue 31a make it possible to obtain a good compromise between a rigidity which remains sufficiently high for the entire liner in the upper part and better comfort in the zone of rotation of the heel of the foot during footwear.
  • the upper end of the tongue 31a is also designed so as to extend beyond the connecting line 12 between the upper 2 and lower 1 parts of the liner and, possibly; to the side edges of the lower element 31 of the packing layer 3 via a curvilinear cutout 310, as illustrated by the figure 1 and 4 .
  • the contours of the tongue 31a can be curvilinear or wavy, or even rectilinear, or even consist of broken lines, to form, for example, a triangular or rectangular tongue.
  • the tongue has a symmetrical shape with respect to the median axis X of the liner.

  • the upper part of the lower element could also consist of several tongues.
  • the width of the base of the tongue is between 2 and 15 cm, or even between 5 and 13 cm.
  • the tongue may extend as far as the side edges of the upper element 32 of the padding layer 3 and, possibly, as far as the side edges of the outer layer 4 of the liner.
  • the respective thicknesses of the upper element 32 and of the lower element 31 are substantially identical and comprised between 0.5 and 1.2 cm at least in their junction zone.
  • the upper element 32 possibly extends to the upper part of the upper part 2 of the outer layer 4 while the lower element 31 extends widely into the lower part of the outer layer 4.
  • the lower element 31 of the packing layer 3 covers the series of strips 11 which create the folding zone 13, and the upper end of the tongue 31a extends above the connection zone 12.
  • the padding layer 3 can be covered with an inner layer 5 for covering, protection and comfort forming a lining and covering not only the layer 3, but also the entire inner surface of the liner.
  • This inner layer 5 can be single-material or formed from the joined assembly of several pieces of fabric, as illustrated in the picture 3 .
  • the inner layer 5 is made in three parts, made up, respectively, of a lower skirt 511, of an intermediate band 512 and of an upper collar 513.
  • the inner layer 5, intended to be in direct contact with the foot, is generally made of textile materials giving comfort and thermal insulation properties to the liner.
