Description

Papiersack  paper bags
Beschreibung description
The invention relates to a paper bag, preferably a valve paper bag, for bulk material such as cement, gypsum, granules, animal feed o. Ä., With a bottom, preferably a cross or block bottom, and with a bottom opposite the top, in which optionally a valve tube is arranged to fill the paper bag.
Such paper sacks are known, for example from EP 1 858 769 B1. In particular, the usual sizes are 5 kg, 10 kg or 25 kg. They have one or more paper layers which are formed from paper or a paper composite and / or coated paper.
For filling such bags, a valve tube is optionally provided, which is incorporated in the upper part and is plugged for filling on a filler neck. Essential for a quick and economical filling is a rapid escape of the air during the filling process. On the other hand, the bag should be as tight as possible after filling. In order to achieve a higher product protection and a longer product stability of the contents, can - as in the EP 1 858 769 B1 - a barrier layer between an inner layer and an outer layer of paper be inserted.
It has been found that sufficient protection of the product can not be guaranteed with the previously known sacks for sensitive products. Such sensitive products are, for example, fast-binding products in the field of building materials or food, in which a loss of flavor must be prevented.
A disadvantage of prior art bags has been found, inter alia, that the barrier layer was inserted there only loosely overlapping, whereby a sufficient product protection was not possible, or the product stability of the filling material is not sufficiently long. In addition, bag solutions have been found to be disadvantageous in which a further paper layer is disposed within the barrier layer, because the residual moisture contained in the paper can diffuse into the medium and this can age faster or destroyed.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide an improved paper bag, which ensures in particular an increased product protection and / or prolonged product stability of the filling, while allowing economical production and rapid venting during filling.
According to the invention the object is achieved by a paper bag having the features of patent claim 1. Preferred embodiments will be apparent from the dependent claims.
The paper sacks according to the invention have a coated paper layer with a facing inside the bag coating, which is gas-tight, so forms a good seal against gas passage, in particular against the passage of air oxygen, CO2 or gaseous water. Furthermore, the coated paper layer has an overlap, wherein the overlapping edges preferably run parallel to the side edges of the paper bag, so that the overlap Pung extending in the manner of an overlap strip from the bottom to the top. In the case of the paper sacks according to the invention, the overlap of the coated paper layer to the interior of the bag is sealingly bonded, ie in the region of the overlap, the inner layer facing the interior of the bag is glued to the layer of the coated paper layer facing the outside of the bag, and the bond is in the edge region of the overlap Sack interior out. Although the bonding directly on the edge of the overlap is advantageous, but the bond must not be located directly on the edge of the overlap to the bag interior. Rather, it may be moved away from the edge of the overlap, because even in this case, the intended purpose according to the invention can still be achieved. In accordance with the invention, the layer of the coated paper layer facing the interior of the bag has perforations in the region of the overlap, which are covered by the overlapping position facing the exterior of the bag. Through these perforations air can escape during filling of the bag and escape to the outside of the overlap, since the obstructive for the air flow bonding is arranged to the bag interior. The bonding to the interior of the bag thus has a steering effect for the air flow, as well as a stabilizing effect for the coated paper layer in the region of the overlap, thus serving to hold the material ends together in the region of the overlap. It can thereby be achieved that the air exiting through the perforations during filling exits completely outwards from the region of overlap. Furthermore, the stability in the overlap area is improved and the tightness in the filled state. Furthermore, the leakage of filling material can be avoided by the overlap. By a suitable choice of the sizes of the perforation openings can be ensured that the respective contents are retained in the bag, while the air escapes through the perforations. When the bag is completely filled, the perforations in the region of the overlap are covered by the outer layer of the inner layer, so that the penetration of substances from the outside is avoided.
The inventive design a good ventilation during filling is achieved with a high product protection and prolonged product stability of the medium. The gas-tight coating avoids the risk of air erstoff, CO2 or gaseous water in relevant quantities from the outside penetrate and damage or destroy the contents. These gases are primarily responsible for damage to sensitive products or for the lower storage stability of such products. Since the gas-tight coating forms the surface of the bag wall which is in contact with the filling material, there is no paper layer in contact with the filling material, from which residual moisture could diffuse into the filling material.
A wider overlap area allows a larger area of perforations in the overlap area and thus better venting when filling. A disadvantage of a larger overlap area is the higher material costs for the inner layer. In this conflict of objectives, it has proved to be advantageous if the overlap of the inner layer is at least 3% of the bag circumference, more advantageously at least 10% of the bag circumference and even more advantageously at least 17% but at most 25% of the bag circumference
In another preferred embodiment, the gas-tight coating has a multilayer structure. The coating preferably comprises a metallized film and / or a metal foil. By such metallized films or metal foils, a particularly good gas tightness can be achieved. Very suitable as a metallic material is aluminum. The metallic gas barrier ensures particularly good aroma protection in the food industry.
Advantageously, the gas-tight coating also forms a barrier to liquids, so that a seal against the ingress of water is achieved.
In another preferred embodiment, the perforations are formed on the inside or in the inner layer of the overlap by needling and / or one or more slits. In another variant, the perforations are formed as microperforations, which can be produced for example by electrical or chemical means and are known from cigarette paper. In another preferred embodiment, additional adhesions are additionally present in a central region and / or in the edge region of the overlap to the exterior of the bag. These bonds further stabilize the overlap area. These bonds are permeable to the exterior of the bag formed, advantageously by interrupted lines of glue along the edge of the overlap to the bag exterior.
In a further preferred embodiment, the paper bag has a plurality of overlaps according to the invention, particularly preferably an overlap according to the invention on the front side of the bag and a further overlap according to the invention on the back of the bag. Thus, the ventilation of the bag can be improved during filling and distributed to both sides.
In other preferred embodiments, the paper bag according to the invention has, outside the coated paper layer, further paper layers or layers of other materials suitable for bag production. These layers must also be designed so that they allow the air to escape to the outside during filling. Suitable materials for bag making are preferably paper, coated paper, film and / or coated film.

FIG. 1 shows a paper bag 10 according to the invention with a cross bottom 12 and an upper part 14, the bottom 12 and the upper part 14 being folded onto the front side 16 of the paper bag 10. Not recognizable is the back of the bag, which is below the front 16. In the upper part 14, a valve tube 15 is inserted.
This paper bag, as shown in particular by the cross section according to FIG. 2 a, is made of an inner coated paper layer 20 and an outer layer 18 of paper or a paper composite. The overlap 19 of the outer layer is kept narrow and glued, so that the outer layer between the bottom 12 and upper part 14 forms a tube section. The overlap 22 of the inner layer of coated paper 20 is wider and glued to the gluing 24 to the bag interior. The coated paper ply 20 also forms a tube section between the bottom 12 and top 14 where the overlap 22 extends as a strip from the bottom 12 to the top 14.
FIG. 2b shows the inner coated paper layer 20 with an enlarged section of the overlap 22. In the region of the overlap 22, the layer 34 of the coated paper layer 20 facing the interior of the bag overlaps with the layer The outer layer 36 of the coated paper layer 20. At its edge facing the interior of the bag, the overlap 22 is glued sealingly by means of the adhesive bond 24.
FIG. 2c shows the layer structure of the inner coated paper layer 20. On its outer side, the coated paper layer 20 has a carrier layer 41 made of paper. Inwardly, the next layer is followed by a metallization 42, which is preferably formed from aluminum. The metallization 42 is protected by a plastic coating which consists in its core 43 of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) or comparable plastics. The core 43 is provided on both sides with a surface layer or surface treatment 44. Between the metallization 42 and surface treatment 44 is a lacquer layer 45. On the outer surface treatment 44 is a corona pretreatment 46, which then forms the innermost layer towards the interior of the bag. The plastic coating applied to the metallic gas barrier protects the metal layer against damage during the manufacture of the bag.
FIG. 3 shows a schematic top view of the tube section of the coated paper layer 20. The overlap 22 of the paper layer 20 is limited to the interior of the bag by the inside edge 26 and to the outside of the bag by the outside edge 28.
FIG. 4 shows the configuration of the overlapping region 22 of the paper layer 20 according to a first exemplary embodiment of the invention. In addition to the inner edge 26 of the overlap, the overlapping region is glued sealingly to the interior of the bag with a continuous glue line 24. To the outside of the bag, the outer edge 28 of the overlap is loose, that is not glued. In the area of the overlap 22, the layer 34 of the paper layer 20 facing the interior of the bag is perforated. The perforation 38, which is shown in Figure 4 with a cross, runs in the same way as the overlap as a strip from the bottom 12 to the top 14. Advantageously, the width B2 of the perforation strip is about half the width B1 of the overlap strip 20. The turned to the outside of the bag Layer 36 of the paper layer 20 has no perforations in the overlap area. As a result, the perforations 38 are covered.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, the overlap along the outer edge 28 is glued to a broken glue line 32. As a result, the overlap on the outer edge 28 is stabilized.
With the invention, a number of advantages are achieved. In particular, the paper bag can be well vented during filling, and by the gas-tight coating on the inside of the bag and the overlap of the vent perforations in the filled bag high product protection and prolonged product stability of the filling is achieved. In addition, the manufacture of the bag is simplified compared to the prior art EP 1 858 769 B1, since no separate barrier layer has to be inserted between two paper layers.
