- the frequency sub-bands are between 700MHz and 2700MHz. Examples are the 700 to 800 MHz frequency sub-band, the 824 to 960 MHz frequency sub-band, and the frequency sub-bands between 1710 MHz and 2700 MHz.
- the antenna (s) of portable telecommunication devices must be able to transmit and / or receive electromagnetic signals in these frequency sub-bands.
- the lowest frequency sub-bands require antennas large size while the miniaturization of portable telecommunication devices imposes requirements of reduced size to the antennas.
- US 2010/053002 describes a multi-antenna system for a mobile phone.
- the present invention aims to solve these various constraints by proposing a multi-antenna system which is capable of radiating and / or converting electromagnetic waves in a wide frequency spectrum while being of reduced bulk.
- the invention provides a broadband multi-antenna system consisting of at least two antennas of the same shape and of the same dimensions, placed above a ground plane, characterized in that the antennas are respectively connected to a demodulator modulator, the part furthest from the ground plane of each antenna is folded one or more times so that the folded part or the last folded part of the antenna forms an angle with the unfolded part of the antenna between 10 and 100 degrees.
- the multi-antenna system is capable of radiating and / or converting electromagnetic waves in a wide frequency spectrum while being of reduced bulk.
- the size of the multi-antenna system is reduced and the couplings between the antennas are reduced compared to wide-band multi-antenna systems known to those skilled in the art.
- the dimensions of the ground plane on which the antennas are placed have little influence on the adaptation and radiation characteristics, that the ground plane is wider or thicker, or that the ground plane is placed or fixed on any substrate, for example, against a wall, on the metal roof of a vehicle or on a table in wood.
- the dimensions of the ground plane will be reduced compared to the dimensions that the ground plane should have on which would be mounted a single antenna or several antennas designed with existing current solutions and within the reach of the skilled person.

Description

Fig. 1 , le système multi-antennes comporte quatre antennes.
Fig. 1 .
Fig. 3 , le système multi-antennes comporte sept antennes.
Fig. 1 .
