Es können aber auch die gesamten Gehäuse der einzelnen Bördelaufsätze je nach ihrem Durchmesser voneinander verschiedene Farben aufweisen. Ein in
Das zylindrische Gehäuse 2 des Bördelaufsatzes ist gegenüber dem Führungsteil 3 und der davon aufgenommenen Aufweitvorrichtung bzw. der ringförmig darum gruppierten Klemmbacken 7 der Klemmvorrichtung axial verschiebbar gelagert. Dazu ist innerhalb des Gehäuses 2 ein Anschlag 21 vorgesehen, an dem sich eine Spannfeder 10, beispielsweise eine Schraubendruckfeder, abstützt. Das gegenüberliegende Ende der Spannfeder 10 stützt sich an einer radialen Erweiterung 33 des Führungsteils 3 ab. Durch Relativverschieben des zylindrischen Gehäuses 2 gegenüber dem Führungsteil 3 bzw. den Klemmbacken 7 werden diese freigegeben, indem ein von der Innenwandung des Gehäuses 2 abragender, wenigstens teilweise umlaufenden Spannring 22, der normalerweise auf die Klemmbacken 7 drückt, ebenfalls zurückgezogen wird, beispielsweise um ein aufgeweitetes Rohrende zu entnehmen. Am Einschubende des axial verschiebbaren Gehäuses 2 in Aussparungen 25 montierbare Eingreifzapfen 26 greifen in Schlitzführungen 76 an der Rückseite der Klemmbacken 7 ein und bilden eine Zwangsführung für die Klemmbacken 7. Ein beim axialen Zurückziehen des Gehäuses 2 gleiten die Eingreifzapfen 26 in den Schlitzführungen 76 in Richtung deren Endabschnitte 71. Da die Schlitzführungen 76 von der Rückseite schräg in den Körper der jeweiligen Klemmbacke 7 verlaufen, werden die Klemmbacken 7 beim Verschieben des Gehäuses 2 radial nach aussen gepresst und geöffnet. Die Aussparungen 25 am Einschubende des Gehäuses 2 werden im montierten Zustand von einem Abschlussring 13 abgedeckt.The

Dadurch wird das Rohrende R fixiert. Sobald der Flansch 81 der Steuerhülse 8 bündig mit den Ende der Schubstange 6 bzw. der Schraube 62 ist, werden die Steuerhülse 8 und die Schubstange 6 mit dem daran befestigten Aufweitkonus 5 gemeinsam axial verschoben. Der Aufweitkonus 5 wird auf das Rohrende R zu und in dasselbe hineingestossen. Dabei erfolgt das Aufweiten des Rohrendes R im gewünschten Ausmass. Es kann auch noch ein Anschlag für den Aufweitkonus 5 vorgesehen sein, um abhängig vom Rohrdurchmesser den Aufweitvorgang zu begrenzen. Je nach dem Verlauf der Steuerbahnen 83 an der Aussenfläche der Steuerhülse 8 bleibt dabei die Klemmkraft auf das Rohrende R konstant oder wird sie erhöht. Beispielsweise kann der Verlauf der Steuerbahnen 83 derart ausgebildet sein, dass die Klemmkraft nach dem Erreichen einer maximalen Klemmkraft konstant bleibt. In einer alternativen Ausführungvariante kann die Klemmkraft bis zum Ende des axialen Verschiebevorgangs der Steuerhülse 8 zunehmen. Der Grad des Anstiegs der Klemmkraft hängt bei einer konstanten Vorschubgeschwindigkeit allein von der Steigung der Steuerbahnen 83 ab. In einer alternativen Ausführungsvariante des Bördelaufsatzes 1 kann die Steuerhülse 8 während ihres axialen Vorschubs auch noch von einer Drehbewegung überlagert sein. In diesem Fall weisen die Steuerbahnen 83 an der Aussenfläche der Steuerhülse 8 einen gekrümmten Verlauf auf. Sie können in einen zylindrischen "Freilauf" münden, in dem eine ungehinderte Rotation der Steuerhülse 8 und der Schubstange 6 mit dem daran befestigten Aufweitkonus ermöglicht ist. Bei einer derartigen Ausbildungsvariante des Bördelaufsatzes 1 kann der Aufweitkonus 5 zusätzlich zu seinem axialen Vorschub rotiert werden. Dies kann beispielsweise für das Aufweiten der Rohrenden von Kunststoffrohren (z.B. Claims (15)
- flanging attachment for expanding cylindrical pipe ends (R) for an automatically operable hand tool (G), having an attachment interface (30) for the hand tool (G), having a clamping device for a cylindrical pipe, and having an expansion device, which is able to be fed in axially onto a pipe end (R) of a pipe fastened by the clamping device, in order to expand said pipe to the desired extent, characterized in that the clamping device and the expansion device are coupled together via a coupling member that is displaceable axially to a limited extent and are able to be activated sequentially.
- Flanging attachment according to Claim 1, characterized in that the clamping device is arranged within a cylindrical housing (2) and has a number of annularly arranged clamping jaws (7) with clamping regions (72) which are able to be fed in radially onto a circumferential surface of the pipe automatically upon introduction of the cylindrical pipe end (R), and in that the expansion device is configured as a substantially conical expansion mandrel (5), which is mounted on a push rod (6) extending substantially coaxially with the annular arrangement of the clamping jaws (7) and is able to be fed in axially onto the pipe end (R) of the fixed pipe, wherein the push rod (6) is arranged in an axially displaceable manner within an axial bore (82) in the coupling member configured as a control sleeve (8), which control sleeve (8) has, on its outer surface, control tracks (83) for radially tilting the clamping jaws (7) and is displaceable to an axially limited extent counter to the restoring force of a restoring spring (9) such that the inserted pipe is fixable via the clamping jaws (7) that are able to be fed in radially, before the expansion mandrel (5) is able to be fed in axially onto the pipe end (R).
- Flanging attachment according to Claim 2, characterized in that the clamping jaws (7) are mounted in a tiltable manner within the cylindrical housing (2), and their end portions (71) that are remote from the clamping regions (72) interact with the control tracks (83) on the outer surface of the control sleeve (8).
- Flanging attachment according to Claim 3, characterized in that the end portions (71) of the clamping jaws (7) are loaded by pressure pins (73), the free ends of which form receptacles for rolling bodies (74) which are engaged with the control tracks (83) on the outer surface of the control sleeve (8).
- Flanging attachment according to one of Claims 2 to 4, characterized in that the control tracks (83) are formed at least regionally on the outer surface of the control sleeve (8) such that, with increasing axial displacement of the control sleeve (8) counter to the restoring force of the restoring spring (9), the clamping force of the clamping jaws (7) is able to be enhanced.
- Flanging attachment according to one of Claims 2 to 5, characterized in that the control tracks (83) on the outer surface of the control sleeve (8) have one or more regions which are configured such that, after a predetermined clamping force has been reached, upon further axial displacement of the control sleeve (8), the clamping force is able to be kept constant.
- Flanging attachment according to one of Claims 2 to 6, characterized in that the clamping jaws enclose an angle of about 1° to about 15° with a longitudinal axis (A) of the flanging attachment, such that their clamping regions (72) are open in an approximately V-shaped manner with respect to one another.
- Flanging attachment according to one of Claims 2 to 7, characterized in that the cylindrical housing (2) is displaceable with respect to the clamping jaws (7) and counter to the restoring force of a tension spring (10) to a limited extent in the direction of the attachment interface (30), wherein an at least regionally circumferential protrusion (22) that projects from an inner surface of the cylindrical housing (2) and pushes against the clamping jaws (7) is displaced and releases the clamping jaws (7), and a positive guide (25, 26, 76) that interacts with the clamping jaws is arranged at the insertion end of the housing (2), the clamping jaws being pushed radially outwards via said positive guide (25, 26, 76) during axial displacement of the housing (2).

- Flanging attachment according to one of Claims 2 to 9, characterized in that the restoring spring (9) and the tension spring (10) are helical compression springs.
- Flanging attachment according to one of Claims 2 to 10, characterized in that the clamping device comprises at least three clamping jaws (7) and a corresponding number of control tracks (83) are formed on the outer surface of the control sleeve (8) .
- Flanging attachment according to Claim 11, characterized in that the clamping device comprises six clamping jaws (7) and a corresponding number of control surfaces (83) are formed on the outer surface of the control sleeve (8).
- Set of flanging attachments according to one of Claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the individual flanging attachments (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e) are configured in an identical manner and are configured to axially receive pipe ends (R) with different diameters.
- Set of flanging attachments according to Claim 13, characterized in that it comprises flanging attachments (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e) for pipe diameters from 4 mm to 63 mm.
- Set of flanging attachments according to Claim 13, characterized in that it comprises five individual, substantially identically configured flanging attachments (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e), which have receiving diameters of 16 mm, 20 mm, 26 mm, 32 mm and 40 mm.
