Abstract

On connaît des aciers alliés contenant en dehors du fer de l'azote, du carbone, du tungstène, du cobalt, du vanadium, du niobium, du molybdène, du chrome et du manganèse. Néanmoins, il est fréquent qu'ils ne conviennent pas pour fabriquer des galets, des paliers ou des coussinets destinés à des installations de galvanisation car leur tenue à la corrosion et à l'usure est insuffisante. L'invention concerne donc un acier contenant 0,5 à 2 % en poids d'azote, 0,5 à 1,5 % en poids de carbone, 5 à 15 % en poids de tungstène, 2 à 7 % en poids de cobalt, 2 à 7 % en poids de vanadium, 2 à 7 % en poids de niobium, 2 à 10 % en poids de molybdène, 3 à 13 % en poids de chrome, 5 à 15 % en poids de manganèse, le reste étant du fer. Cet acier est économique à produire et il convient très bien pour une application dans des installations de galvanisation.
