Definitions

  • the invention relates to a lamp, in particular with LEDs as the light source.
  • Such lights are known per se. They consist essentially of an operating device and lighting means, which are controlled by means of this operating device and thus operated. These lights are usually installed as a unit.
  • the housing of such lights are essentially formed in two parts and usually consist of two housing halves. In the housing halves, the operating device and the lamps are housed together. Ie. The housing halves form a single receiving space for all components of the lamp inside.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to meet the disadvantages and in particular to provide a luminaire in which facilitates the assembly and access to its internal components is simplified.
  • a luminaire which has a luminous section and an operating section.
  • the lighting section is provided with at least one light source and a light housing enclosing this.
  • the luminaire housing houses the light source (s).
  • the operating section in turn is provided with an operating device and this enclosing operating housing, so now einhaust the operating device.
  • the luminaire housing and the operating housing are arranged relative to one another in such a way that both housings enclose the luminous section and the operating device at least in a moisture-tight manner with respect to the luminaire to the outside.
  • the bulbs and the operating device of the luminaire are spatially separated from each other and thus arranged differently accessible anordbar.
  • the luminaire housing can be optimized in terms of its dimensions to the bulbs out, whereas the operating housing can be optimized for the operating device.
  • the two sections thus each form a module as a structural unit. This allows the separate replacement of any defective parts regardless of the other section.
  • the coupling ensures the power supply of the lighting section.
  • this open passage can also be omitted if a wireless energy transmission is to be realized.
  • the passage is preferably formed in that both housings of the luminaire are at least partially open on their mutually facing sides in an overlapping region.
  • the passage can be formed by means of a (drill) hole of circular cross-section, through which a power supply cable passes.
  • both housings are integrally formed with each other. Ie. there are no problems of stapling, as described above, and yet the operating device and possibly the lighting means are accessible from different locations of the lamp forth or housing enclosing them can be designed accordingly, since operating device and lighting means are arranged spatially separated from each other.
  • both housings are formed by means of two separate parts which are fastened to each other.
  • the attachment can be done for example by means of concealed screws or by gluing due to the possible different dimensions of the two housings.
  • a seal is arranged between the two housings, which abuts against these mutually facing sides of both housing at least liquid-sealing.
  • the housing is formed in two parts, thereby the use of the lamp in wet rooms such as bathrooms, so as a wet room light, allows.
  • the operating housing may have a first passage opening on a first side, which does not face the luminaire housing, and which is closed by means of a detachably mounted cover. This allows access to the operating device for maintenance, replacement or other work.
  • the luminaire is at least liquid-sealed in the region of the cover to the outside with respect to the luminaire. Ie. the use as a moisture-proof light is also possible in this case.
  • the seal between the cover and the operating housing is preferably formed by the cover is formed in the contact area with the operating housing of an at least liquid-sealing material.
  • the lid itself forms the seal.
  • This has the advantage that no further sealing parts are required.
  • the formation of the lid is a screw cap with an outer contact surface formed from rubber or the like. With this, the lid is preferably screwed, for example, in a formed in the through hole internal thread "cutting", so that the sealing effect arises.
  • any other type of positive and / or positive sealing is conceivable.
  • an extra seal is arranged between the cover and the operating housing so that the operating housing is at least liquid-sealed to the outside in the area of contact with the cover.
  • This makes it possible to manufacture the operating housing and lid from not (safe) sealing materials such as metal.
  • no special sealing structures on the operating housing and lid are required, which simplifies their construction and increases the application width.
  • the seal can simply rest flat on facing surfaces of the lid and the operating housing. The seal is thus at least on a first, one of the two housing-facing side to this one housing at least liquid-sealing. Alternatively, the seal can be glued liquid-tight on this side with this one housing. The same happens to the second, the other of the two housing facing side of the seal.
  • the seal is thus at least a second fluid-tight on a second, the other of the two housing-facing side of this other housing or is glued to this liquid-tight.
  • This design allows the use of a flexible seal with yet secure liquid seal.
  • the advantage is that both housing can move relative to each other due to the flexibly formable seal.
  • the housing for example, be formed of different materials, the operating housing example of metal for grounding the lamp and the lamp housing made of transparent plastic optics. With temperature fluctuations, both housings have mutually different thermal expansion characteristics that can be compensated by the seal. Instead of providing a seal, both housings can of course be glued directly liquid-tight together.
  • the operating device is designed so that it can be inserted through the first passage opening from the outside with respect to the lamp and possibly also taken out again. This simplifies work on the operating housing in particular.
  • the operating device can be removed as a whole, the work can be carried out on it, and finally the same or another operating device is used again. If the operating device is designed as a module, the work is simplified even further.
  • the modularity allows the formation of a kind of standard operating equipment, manufactured as a unit and then only used in the lamp and possibly has to be electrically coupled. If it is defective, it can be replaced as a whole, which helps to minimize assembly time and costs.
  • the operating device comprises a holder, are attached to the electrical functional elements of the operating device.
  • all other (functional) elements can be permanently installed and thus positioned, except for any existing electrical lines. Any electrical couplings between them can therefore be so laid or dimensioned in length that they scrub nowhere when inserting the operating module or are also protected from the holder to the outside from mechanical influences. The latter is particularly possible if the holder is formed like a cage.
  • the electrical lines can also be fixed to the bracket.
  • Another form of electrical couplings may be male-female connections between two immediately adjacent functional elements.
  • an electrical coupling can be formed by means of printed circuit board elements, which are arranged between two directly adjacent functional elements and electrically coupled to one another.
  • the operating housing has, on a second side, which does not face the luminaire housing, a second passage opening, through which the operating device is designed to be electrically coupled to at least one external power supply line.
  • this second side is a side other than the first side of the operating housing, namely the opposite side.
  • connection element is preferably used in particular releasably.
  • the connection element is electrically coupled to the operating device and designed on a side remote from the operating device to be electrically coupled to the at least one power supply line. Ie. the external one Power supply can be removed. If the connection element is formed on an opposite side to the aforementioned cover, the operating device and connection element can be designed alternatively or additionally, when being pushed together at least electrically, but advantageously also mechanically coupled. This greatly facilitates the (dis) assembly of the operating device, since the installer no longer has to pay attention to the electrical coupling.
  • the operating housing is at least liquid-sealed to the outside in the region of the connection element, which benefits the use as a moisture-proof luminaire.
  • the seal can be done as in the aforementioned cover.
  • the seal between the operating housing and connecting element thus preferably arises in that the connecting element is formed in the contact region with the operating housing of an at least liquid-sealing material and / or a seal is arranged between the connecting element and the operating housing, so that the operating housing in the contact area with the connecting element to the outside in Regarding the lamp is at least liquid-sealed.
  • the aforementioned first side and second side are formed on two different, opposite wall portions of the operating housing.
  • Opposite wall sections have the advantage of being able to switch the operating housing with operating devices of other luminaires or devices in series, so that a kind of device or luminaire chain is created. This is particularly advantageous in large rooms such as halls, since in extreme cases only a single external power supply cable is necessary.
  • FIG. 1 shows a lamp 1 according to an embodiment of the invention.
  • the luminaire 1 consists essentially of two housing parts 20, 30 of a luminaire housing and an operating housing 50.
  • the operating housing 50 has at a rear end side a connection element 2 for electrical coupling to an external power supply line, not shown. On the opposite end side, the operating housing 50 is preferably closed by means of a cover 51, preferably moisture-tight.
  • the lid 51 is fixed by way of example four screws 52 on the operating housing 50, one of which is provided with reference numerals.
  • the cover 51 here has a connection element 54, which is fastened by way of example by means of a screw part 53 on the cover 51.
  • the connecting element 54 is embodied here as a plug connector and can accordingly be coupled at least electrically, but advantageously also mechanically, to a corresponding socket connector of an external power supply line.
  • the screw portion 53 is provided on its side facing the lid 51 by way of example with an external thread, by means of which it is preferably screwed sealingly into a corresponding internal thread in the lid 51.
  • the connecting element 54 is preferably pressed in the screw section 53 or otherwise insoluble or detachably attached thereto.
  • the parts 51, 53, 54 may also be formed partially or wholly in one piece with each other.
  • a bracket 60 Centered with respect to the operating housing 50 is a bracket 60, which in turn centrally has a through-opening 61 through which a non-illustrated fastener is screwed, for example in the form of a screw into a support member such as a wall or ceiling of a room.
  • the bracket 60 has right and left free-standing projections 62 which pinch the operating housing 50.
  • the projections 62 form clamping portions 62 of the bracket 60 with respect to the operating housing 50.
  • FIG. 2 shows the light 1 of FIG. 1 in an exploded view from the side of the housing part 30, that is from one to FIG. 1 opposite side.
  • the operating housing 50 is fixed to the housing part 20 or integrally formed therewith.
  • the housing part 30 is placed on a side facing away from the operating housing 50 of the housing part 20 on this.
  • an exemplary circumferentially formed seal 7 is provided between the two housing parts 20, 30 .
  • This ensures that an enclosed by the housing parts 20, 30 and the seal 7 interior 5 is sealed to the outside preferably moisture-tight.
  • the interior 5 are exemplary four printed circuit boards 4, of which only one is provided with reference numerals. Ie. the housing parts 20, 30 form a luminaire housing.
  • brackets 40 are provided with projections 41, the arrangement formed from the housing parts 20, 30, the seal 7 and arranged in the interior parts 5 as the Circuit boards 4, embrace and thus fix both housing parts 20, 30 together.
  • the brackets 40 have for this purpose a substantially U-shaped cross-section, so that a respective recess 42 is formed which is open in the direction of the housing parts 20, 30.
  • the housing part 20 is at least in the transillumination area with respect to the light emitted by the bulbs 6 light, but preferably completely from a transparent, d. H. permeable to the light of the bulbs 6, formed material.
  • the housing part 20 in areas of contact with the brackets 40 special areas as clamping portions 21, of which the clarity is only one provided with reference numerals.
  • the housing part 30 advantageously has corresponding clamping portions 31, of which also only one is provided with reference numerals. Each clip 40 thus encompasses a pair of clamping sections 21, 31 belonging to one another.
  • respective pairs of clamping portions 21, 31 with associated bracket at least partially or entirely of electrically conductive material such as metal.
  • electrically conductive material such as metal.
  • the operating housing 50 facing side of the housing part 30 may be metallically coated, thus enabling a coupling with the operating housing 50. This is advantageously via the connection element 2 and / or the connection element 54 electrically coupled to a grounding conductor of the external power supply line.
  • the housing part 30 is made entirely of metal, so that the clamping portions 31 could then be omitted.
  • the operating housing 50 is open in the direction of the housing part 20, that is to say it preferably has no outer wall on this side.
  • the housing part 20 accordingly has a passage opening 22 on the side facing the operating housing 50.
  • the passage opening 22 corresponds in its outer dimensions exemplarily substantially the inner dimensions of the open side of the operating housing 50. This creates a spatial connection between the Interior 5 and a later explained in more detail receiving space 57 of the operating housing 50. This allows a recorded in the housing 50, also explained in more detail later operating device 70 to electrically couple with the four printed circuit boards 4 here and thus to operate.
  • FIG. 3 shows an exploded view of the lamp 1 of FIG. 1 from the same side as in FIG. 1 ,
  • the housing parts 20, 30 and the operating housing 50 are shown attached to each other or formed integrally with each other.
  • the operating housing 50 is shown open at the front side pointing here forward. It has on the inside a cavity, which forms the receiving space 57 and in the example shown in the direction not designated interior 5 is open.
  • a seal 10 is preferably arranged between the cover 51 and the operating housing 50. The seal 10 is pressed by means of the cover 51 and the screws 52 pressed against a frontal end of the operating housing 50 adjacent.
  • the screws 52 are guided from a side facing away from the operating housing 50 of the lid 51 through corresponding through holes 58 of the lid 51 and screwed into a corresponding of four here in the operating housing 50 frontally formed screw holes 56.
  • the screws 52 thus fix the cover 51 on the operating housing 50, and thereby the seal 10 is pressed against the facing, frontal end of the operating housing 50 fittingly placed.
  • the seal 10 is formed by way of example circumferentially and therefore has a passage opening 12.
  • the operating device 70 is arranged, which is provided for the operation of the printed circuit boards 4 not shown.
  • the operating device 70 mainly comprises a cross-sectionally exemplary L-shaped holder 74, at the ends of which holders 78 are arranged.
  • the holders 78 serve to hold a package at the front, consisting essentially of a plurality of accumulators 71 and preferably a control circuit 79 arranged laterally thereon.
  • the holders 78 advantageously serve not only for the mechanical holding of this arrangement 71, 79 but also for the electrical connection or coupling or passage of electrical connection lines to this arrangement 71, 79 from the outside.
  • the aforesaid screw member 53 is preferably screwed into the cover 51, which has the shape of a nut to the outside, and in the middle of the connecting element 54 is arranged for example in the form of a plug part.
  • This plug part is used to attach a corresponding socket element that is neither shown nor explained in detail in the description.
  • the resulting socket-plug connection allows both a mechanical and an electrical coupling of an external power and / or data line, not shown, with the arrangement 71, 79.
  • the operating housing 50 preferably has a respective rail 55 on the inner sides 57 facing opposite inner sides, of which only one approachably is visible.
  • the rails 55 extend towards each other and parallel to each other in the insertion direction of the holder 74, that is preferably parallel to the longitudinal extent of the operating housing 50. They serve to insert the holder 74 in the operating housing 50 and thus for positioning and optionally positive and / or non-positive fixing the holder 74 and thus the entire operating device 70 in the operating housing 50. This allows to mount the operating device 70 only by means of insertion, additional fasteners such as screws or the like are not required.
  • the holder 74 has approximately in the middle of a guide portion 77 which is shaped so that it can be inserted into the operating housing 50 while the operating device 70 is guided in the operating housing 50 as in a tongue and groove connection accordingly.
  • the guide portion 77 may also be omitted or occur multiple times. If the guide section 77 does not exist, the holder 74 itself takes over the guidance. For this purpose, it is then formed circumferentially in the cross-section or in the direction of the housing part 20 open.

After removal of the lid 51, the holder 74 can be pulled out of the front side of the operating housing 70. Ie. for maintenance, the operating device 70 is then freely accessible. In order to prevent problems with respect to the cabling of the operating device 70 with the light sources 6, the operating device 70 is preferably connected to the LED circuit board via a correspondingly long cable loop. This means that the operating device is pulled out of the additional housing, but remains permanently connected to the light sources via the cable, despite everything.
  • projecting projections 75 are formed on the holders 78 in the direction of the viewer.
  • the projections 75 are preferably formed to be in FIG. 3 come to lie above the opposite rail 55 and thus cause the holder 74 in the operating housing 50 along the mounting or insertion path in the operating housing 50.
  • the projections 74 are advantageously also formed on the not visible here, opposite side of the holder 78.
  • FIG. 5 shows a sectional view according to FIG. 4 with a modified light 1.
  • the line 72 is missing here. Instead, the arrangement 71, 79 is mechanically and electrically coupled via connectors to the connection elements 73, 76.
  • the power supply from the outside via the connection element 2 and / or the connection element 54th D. h. inside the operating housing 50 are preferably no lines at all. This simplifies the assembly, since the operating device 70 only has to be inserted and a line break is not to be feared.
  • the wiring can be simplified to the effect that between possibly several, juxtaposed lights 1 just one line has to be laid.
  • the electrical coupling can take place via a frame, which is not described in detail in the context of the invention.

  • the circuit board 4 is mounted with light bulbs 6, which radiate towards the housing part 30, which is preferably made entirely of transparent material, through the housing part 30 through outward their light, so here down and away from the operating housing 50.
  • a light element 8 is also arranged by way of example in the form of a planar prism arrangement.
  • the arrangement can take place by means of clamping between the printed circuit board 4 and the housing part 30, or the light element 8 is attached to the printed circuit board 4 or on the housing part 30 or integrally formed with the housing part 30.
  • the holder 78 couples with the control circuit 79, which is provided for operating the printed circuit boards 4 and the lighting means mounted thereon.
  • An electrical coupling with the printed circuit board 4 can be made for example via the projection 75 and the above-mentioned rail 55.
  • the projection 75 and the contacting rail 55 then have the function of busbars.
  • the rail is not visible in the illustration shown. Ie. the insertion of the operating device 70 is sufficient to electrically couple the operating device with the lighting means 6. This further simplifies the assembly.

This is done by tightening the screws 52, whereby the cover 51 is urged here with the connection element 54 in the direction of the operating housing 50.
  • the cover 51, the seal 10 and the operating housing 50 preferably engage with each other at least in a liquid-tight manner. Ie. by this arrangement, the lamp 1 is protected in this area against the ingress of moisture, so that the entire lamp 1 can be used as a wet room light.
  • the invention is not limited to the prescribed embodiments.
  • the seal (s) 7, 10 can be dispensed with or less sealingly formed and / or arranged.

Description

The invention relates to a lamp, in particular with LEDs as the light source.

Such lights are known per se. They consist essentially of an operating device and lighting means, which are controlled by means of this operating device and thus operated. These lights are usually installed as a unit.

The housing of such lights are essentially formed in two parts and usually consist of two housing halves. In the housing halves, the operating device and the lamps are housed together. Ie. The housing halves form a single receiving space for all components of the lamp inside.

This has the disadvantage that in case of a defect, for example, the operating device all components of the lamp must be removed from the receiving space and only then can be replaced. This problem arises in particular with so-called emergency lights, such as illuminated emergency exit signs, which continue to be battery-powered in the event of a power failure. The batteries normally used for this purpose must be replaced from time to time, as they only have a limited lifespan. Therefore, it is laborious for fitters, just to replace the batteries constantly have to take apart the whole lamp.

Another disadvantage is that due to the single receiving space, the lights are relatively high-building. This means that the lamps stand out aesthetically unfavorably very far from the wall or ceiling of a room. The only solution is to install flush-mounted, which, however, works only insofar as the housing halves are usually attached to each other via visually unfavorable brackets. Because of the brackets, the enclosure still has to protrude out of the wall or ceiling so that the brackets are accessible. There is thus a housing half and a part of the other housing half. Otherwise, the luminaire components would no longer be accessible inside.

Eine gattungsgemäße Leuchte ist aus der US2012/0229025A1 bekannt.A generic light is from the US2012 / 0229025A1 known.

The object of the invention is therefore to meet the disadvantages and in particular to provide a luminaire in which facilitates the assembly and access to its internal components is simplified.

This object is solved by the subject matter of the independent claims. Advantageous developments are specified in the subclaims.

According to the invention, a luminaire is provided which has a luminous section and an operating section. The lighting section is provided with at least one light source and a light housing enclosing this. Ie. the luminaire housing houses the light source (s). The operating section in turn is provided with an operating device and this enclosing operating housing, so now einhaust the operating device. The luminaire housing and the operating housing are arranged relative to one another in such a way that both housings enclose the luminous section and the operating device at least in a moisture-tight manner with respect to the luminaire to the outside. Ie. the bulbs and the operating device of the luminaire are spatially separated from each other and thus arranged differently accessible anordbar. In particular, the luminaire housing can be optimized in terms of its dimensions to the bulbs out, whereas the operating housing can be optimized for the operating device.

Preferably, there is at least one open passage between the two housings through which the operating device is electrically coupled to the luminous section. The two sections thus each form a module as a structural unit. This allows the separate replacement of any defective parts regardless of the other section. The coupling ensures the power supply of the lighting section. However, this open passage can also be omitted if a wireless energy transmission is to be realized.

The passage is preferably formed in that both housings of the luminaire are at least partially open on their mutually facing sides in an overlapping region. In the simplest case, the passage can be formed by means of a (drill) hole of circular cross-section, through which a power supply cable passes.

Preferably, both housings are integrally formed with each other. Ie. there are no problems of stapling, as described above, and yet the operating device and possibly the lighting means are accessible from different locations of the lamp forth or housing enclosing them can be designed accordingly, since operating device and lighting means are arranged spatially separated from each other.

Alternatively, both housings are formed by means of two separate parts which are fastened to each other. The attachment can be done for example by means of concealed screws or by gluing due to the possible different dimensions of the two housings.

Preferably, a seal is arranged between the two housings, which abuts against these mutually facing sides of both housing at least liquid-sealing. Although the housing is formed in two parts, thereby the use of the lamp in wet rooms such as bathrooms, so as a wet room light, allows.

The operating housing may have a first passage opening on a first side, which does not face the luminaire housing, and which is closed by means of a detachably mounted cover. This allows access to the operating device for maintenance, replacement or other work.

Preferably, the luminaire is at least liquid-sealed in the region of the cover to the outside with respect to the luminaire. Ie. the use as a moisture-proof light is also possible in this case.

The seal between the cover and the operating housing is preferably formed by the cover is formed in the contact area with the operating housing of an at least liquid-sealing material. Ie. the lid itself forms the seal. This has the advantage that no further sealing parts are required. One possibility is the formation of the lid as a screw cap with an outer contact surface formed from rubber or the like. With this, the lid is preferably screwed, for example, in a formed in the through hole internal thread "cutting", so that the sealing effect arises. However, any other type of positive and / or positive sealing is conceivable.

Alternatively or additionally, an extra seal is arranged between the cover and the operating housing so that the operating housing is at least liquid-sealed to the outside in the area of contact with the cover. This makes it possible to manufacture the operating housing and lid from not (safe) sealing materials such as metal. In addition, no special sealing structures on the operating housing and lid are required, which simplifies their construction and increases the application width. The seal can simply rest flat on facing surfaces of the lid and the operating housing. The seal is thus at least on a first, one of the two housing-facing side to this one housing at least liquid-sealing. Alternatively, the seal can be glued liquid-tight on this side with this one housing. The same happens to the second, the other of the two housing facing side of the seal. The seal is thus at least a second fluid-tight on a second, the other of the two housing-facing side of this other housing or is glued to this liquid-tight. This design allows the use of a flexible seal with yet secure liquid seal. The advantage is that both housing can move relative to each other due to the flexibly formable seal. As a result, the housing, for example, be formed of different materials, the operating housing example of metal for grounding the lamp and the lamp housing made of transparent plastic optics. With temperature fluctuations, both housings have mutually different thermal expansion characteristics that can be compensated by the seal. Instead of providing a seal, both housings can of course be glued directly liquid-tight together.

The operating device is designed so that it can be inserted through the first passage opening from the outside with respect to the lamp and possibly also taken out again. This simplifies work on the operating housing in particular. The operating device can be removed as a whole, the work can be carried out on it, and finally the same or another operating device is used again.
If the operating device is designed as a module, the work is simplified even further. The modularity allows the formation of a kind of standard operating equipment, manufactured as a unit and then only used in the lamp and possibly has to be electrically coupled. If it is defective, it can be replaced as a whole, which helps to minimize assembly time and costs.

Preferably, the operating device comprises a holder, are attached to the electrical functional elements of the operating device. Ie. all other (functional) elements can be permanently installed and thus positioned, except for any existing electrical lines. Any electrical couplings between them can therefore be so laid or dimensioned in length that they scrub nowhere when inserting the operating module or are also protected from the holder to the outside from mechanical influences. The latter is particularly possible if the holder is formed like a cage. Of course, the electrical lines can also be fixed to the bracket. Another form of electrical couplings may be male-female connections between two immediately adjacent functional elements. Last but not least, an electrical coupling can be formed by means of printed circuit board elements, which are arranged between two directly adjacent functional elements and electrically coupled to one another.

The operating housing has, on a second side, which does not face the luminaire housing, a second passage opening, through which the operating device is designed to be electrically coupled to at least one external power supply line. According to the invention, this second side is a side other than the first side of the operating housing, namely the opposite side. As a result, the electrical coupling of the lamp does not have to be removed. If the operating device is electrically connected to the power supply line by means of a plug-and-socket connection, it must only be removed from the operating housing. In this case, the electrical coupling with the power supply line is automatically disconnected.

In this second passage opening, a connection element is preferably used in particular releasably. The connection element is electrically coupled to the operating device and designed on a side remote from the operating device to be electrically coupled to the at least one power supply line. Ie. the external one Power supply can be removed.

The operating housing is at least liquid-sealed to the outside in the region of the connection element, which benefits the use as a moisture-proof luminaire.

The seal can be done as in the aforementioned cover. The seal between the operating housing and connecting element thus preferably arises in that the connecting element is formed in the contact region with the operating housing of an at least liquid-sealing material and / or a seal is arranged between the connecting element and the operating housing, so that the operating housing in the contact area with the connecting element to the outside in Regarding the lamp is at least liquid-sealed. There are therefore the same advantages as above the lid.

The aforementioned first side and second side are formed on two different, opposite wall portions of the operating housing. Opposite wall sections have the advantage of being able to switch the operating housing with operating devices of other luminaires or devices in series, so that a kind of device or luminaire chain is created. This is particularly advantageous in large rooms such as halls, since in extreme cases only a single external power supply cable is necessary.

FIG. 1 shows a lamp 1 according to an embodiment of the invention. The luminaire 1 consists essentially of two housing parts 20, 30 of a luminaire housing and an operating housing 50.

The operating housing 50 has at a rear end side a connection element 2 for electrical coupling to an external power supply line, not shown. On the opposite end side, the operating housing 50 is preferably closed by means of a cover 51, preferably moisture-tight.

The lid 51 is fixed by way of example four screws 52 on the operating housing 50, one of which is provided with reference numerals. In the middle, the cover 51 here has a connection element 54, which is fastened by way of example by means of a screw part 53 on the cover 51. The connecting element 54 is embodied here as a plug connector and can accordingly be coupled at least electrically, but advantageously also mechanically, to a corresponding socket connector of an external power supply line.

The screw portion 53 is provided on its side facing the lid 51 by way of example with an external thread, by means of which it is preferably screwed sealingly into a corresponding internal thread in the lid 51. The connecting element 54 is preferably pressed in the screw section 53 or otherwise insoluble or detachably attached thereto. The parts 51, 53, 54 may also be formed partially or wholly in one piece with each other.

Die Vorsprünge 62 bilden Spannabschnitte 62 der Klammer 60 in Bezug auf das Betriebsgehäuse 50.Centered with respect to the operating housing 50 is a bracket 60, which in turn centrally has a through-opening 61 through which a non-illustrated fastener is screwed, for example in the form of a screw into a support member such as a wall or ceiling of a room. The bracket 60 has right and left free-standing projections 62 which pinch the operating housing 50. The projections 62 form clamping portions 62 of the bracket 60 with respect to the operating housing 50.

FIG. 2 shows the light 1 of FIG. 1 in an exploded view from the side of the housing part 30, that is from one to FIG. 1 opposite side.

As can be seen, the operating housing 50 is fixed to the housing part 20 or integrally formed therewith. The housing part 30 is placed on a side facing away from the operating housing 50 of the housing part 20 on this. Preferably, between the two housing parts 20, 30 is an exemplary circumferentially formed seal 7. This ensures that an enclosed by the housing parts 20, 30 and the seal 7 interior 5 is sealed to the outside preferably moisture-tight. In the interior 5 are exemplary four printed circuit boards 4, of which only one is provided with reference numerals. Ie. the housing parts 20, 30 form a luminaire housing.

In order to seal the housing parts 20, 30 or the interior 5 to the outside, here are examples of brackets 40 are provided with projections 41, the arrangement formed from the housing parts 20, 30, the seal 7 and arranged in the interior parts 5 as the Circuit boards 4, embrace and thus fix both housing parts 20, 30 together. The brackets 40 have for this purpose a substantially U-shaped cross-section, so that a respective recess 42 is formed which is open in the direction of the housing parts 20, 30. However, it is any other mounting option for the housing parts 20, 30 to each other (possibly only on the seal 7), for example by means of screws possible.

On the circuit boards 4 explained later, not visible here bulbs 6 are arranged, which emit their light towards the housing part 20. Therefore, the housing part 20 is at least in the transillumination area with respect to the light emitted by the bulbs 6 light, but preferably completely from a transparent, d. H. permeable to the light of the bulbs 6, formed material.

Jede Klammer 40 umgreift somit ein Paar zueinander gehörender Klemmabschnitte 21, 31.In order to protect this material from damage, the housing part 20 in areas of contact with the brackets 40 special areas as clamping portions 21, of which the clarity is only one provided with reference numerals. Also, the housing part 30 advantageously has corresponding clamping portions 31, of which also only one is provided with reference numerals. Each clip 40 thus encompasses a pair of clamping sections 21, 31 belonging to one another.

Further preferably, respective pairs of clamping portions 21, 31 with associated bracket at least partially or entirely of electrically conductive material such as metal. This makes it possible, for example, to ground the housing parts 20, 30 by coupling a grounding line from the interior 5 with at least one clamping section 21 from the inside. When placing the housing part 20 on or in the housing part 30 reach each other corresponding clamping portions 20, 30 at the latest on the attached bracket 40 with each other electrically in contact. The operating housing 50 facing side of the housing part 30 may be metallically coated, thus enabling a coupling with the operating housing 50. This is advantageously via the connection element 2 and / or the connection element 54 electrically coupled to a grounding conductor of the external power supply line. Alternatively, the housing part 30 is made entirely of metal, so that the clamping portions 31 could then be omitted.

As can also be seen, the operating housing 50 is open in the direction of the housing part 20, that is to say it preferably has no outer wall on this side. The housing part 20 accordingly has a passage opening 22 on the side facing the operating housing 50. The passage opening 22 corresponds in its outer dimensions exemplarily substantially the inner dimensions of the open side of the operating housing 50. This creates a spatial connection between the Interior 5 and a later explained in more detail receiving space 57 of the operating housing 50. This allows a recorded in the housing 50, also explained in more detail later operating device 70 to electrically couple with the four printed circuit boards 4 here and thus to operate.

FIG. 3 shows an exploded view of the lamp 1 of FIG. 1 from the same side as in FIG. 1 ,

The housing parts 20, 30 and the operating housing 50 are shown attached to each other or formed integrally with each other. The operating housing 50 is shown open at the front side pointing here forward. It has on the inside a cavity, which forms the receiving space 57 and in the example shown in the direction not designated interior 5 is open. Between the cover 51 and the operating housing 50, a seal 10 is preferably arranged. The seal 10 is pressed by means of the cover 51 and the screws 52 pressed against a frontal end of the operating housing 50 adjacent.

The screws 52 are guided from a side facing away from the operating housing 50 of the lid 51 through corresponding through holes 58 of the lid 51 and screwed into a corresponding of four here in the operating housing 50 frontally formed screw holes 56. The screws 52 thus fix the cover 51 on the operating housing 50, and thereby the seal 10 is pressed against the facing, frontal end of the operating housing 50 fittingly placed. For this purpose, the seal 10 is formed by way of example circumferentially and therefore has a passage opening 12.

In the interior 57, the operating device 70 is arranged, which is provided for the operation of the printed circuit boards 4 not shown. The operating device 70 mainly comprises a cross-sectionally exemplary L-shaped holder 74, at the ends of which holders 78 are arranged. The holders 78 serve to hold a package at the front, consisting essentially of a plurality of accumulators 71 and preferably a control circuit 79 arranged laterally thereon.

The holders 78 advantageously serve not only for the mechanical holding of this arrangement 71, 79 but also for the electrical connection or coupling or passage of electrical connection lines to this arrangement 71, 79 from the outside. In order to be able to supply the arrangement 71, 79 with electrical energy, the aforesaid screw member 53 is preferably screwed into the cover 51, which has the shape of a nut to the outside, and in the middle of the connecting element 54 is arranged for example in the form of a plug part. This plug part is used to attach a corresponding socket element that is neither shown nor explained in detail in the description. The resulting socket-plug connection allows both a mechanical and an electrical coupling of an external power and / or data line, not shown, with the arrangement 71, 79.

In the example shown, the operating housing 50 preferably has a respective rail 55 on the inner sides 57 facing opposite inner sides, of which only one approachably is visible. The rails 55 extend towards each other and parallel to each other in the insertion direction of the holder 74, that is preferably parallel to the longitudinal extent of the operating housing 50. The holder 74 has approximately in the middle of a guide portion 77 which is shaped so that it can be inserted into the operating housing 50 while the operating device 70 is guided in the operating housing 50 as in a tongue and groove connection accordingly.

The guide portion 77 may also be omitted or occur multiple times. If the guide section 77 does not exist, the holder 74 itself takes over the guidance. For this purpose, it is then formed circumferentially in the cross-section or in the direction of the housing part 20 open.

FIG. 4 shows a sectional view of the lamp 1 of FIG. 1 along a line AA in FIG. 1 ,

The two housing parts 20, 30 and the operating housing 50 arranged above them can be seen. As can be seen, a power supply line 72 is arranged completely through the operating housing 50. About connection elements 73, 76, the arrangement 71, 79 is electrically coupled to the line 72. The connecting elements 2, 54 and 73 and 76 are mainly used for mechanical fixing of the line 72. If a maintenance is made, for example, to replace accumulators 71, the lid 51 is withdrawn, and the operating device 70 is pulled out. The line 72 is relatively long and thus allows to pull out the operating device 70, without having to deduct the electrical power supply.

In summary, the operating device 70 (here with accumulators 71) is arranged within the operating housing 50 on the holder 74 as a removable carrier.

Finally, projecting projections 75 are formed on the holders 78 in the direction of the viewer. The projections 75 are preferably formed to be in FIG. 3 come to lie above the opposite rail 55 and thus cause the holder 74 in the operating housing 50 along the mounting or insertion path in the operating housing 50. The projections 74 are advantageously also formed on the not visible here, opposite side of the holder 78.

FIG. 5 shows a sectional view according to FIG. 4 with a modified light 1.

As can be seen, the line 72 is missing here. Instead, the arrangement 71, 79 is mechanically and electrically coupled via connectors to the connection elements 73, 76. The power supply from the outside via the connection element 2 and / or the connection element 54th D. h. inside the operating housing 50 are preferably no lines at all. This simplifies the assembly, since the operating device 70 only has to be inserted and a line break is not to be feared. On the other hand, the wiring can be simplified to the effect that between possibly several, juxtaposed lights 1 just one line has to be laid. Alternatively, the electrical coupling can take place via a frame, which is not described in detail in the context of the invention.

FIG. 6 shows a section of the lamp 1 of FIG. 5 enlarged in detail, and their left area in FIG. 5 ,

Here, the housing parts 20, 30 can be seen particularly well, between which the preferably circumferentially arranged seal 7 is arranged. The seal 7 is connected to the housing part 20 via a preferably circumferentially integrally formed or formed projection 23 positively and / or non-positively engaged.

In the interior 5, the circuit board 4 is mounted with light bulbs 6, which radiate towards the housing part 30, which is preferably made entirely of transparent material, through the housing part 30 through outward their light, so here down and away from the operating housing 50.

Between the housing part 30 and the printed circuit board 4, in the example shown, a light element 8 is also arranged by way of example in the form of a planar prism arrangement. The arrangement can take place by means of clamping between the printed circuit board 4 and the housing part 30, or the light element 8 is attached to the printed circuit board 4 or on the housing part 30 or integrally formed with the housing part 30.

By way of example, the holder 78 couples with the control circuit 79, which is provided for operating the printed circuit boards 4 and the lighting means mounted thereon. An electrical coupling with the printed circuit board 4 can be made for example via the projection 75 and the above-mentioned rail 55. The projection 75 and the contacting rail 55 then have the function of busbars. The rail is not visible in the illustration shown. Ie. the insertion of the operating device 70 is sufficient to electrically couple the operating device with the lighting means 6. This further simplifies the assembly.

The cover 51 has, on its side facing the operating housing 50, a projection 59 which is formed circumferentially here. The projection 59 projects from the other cover 51 in the direction of the operating housing 50 and tapers in the direction of free The End. As a result, it is possible for the cover 51 to clamp a projection 11 of the seal 10 facing it, which is likewise preferably peripherally formed, between itself and the front end of the operating housing 50 facing it. This is done by tightening the screws 52, whereby the cover 51 is urged here with the connection element 54 in the direction of the operating housing 50. As a result, the cover 51, the seal 10 and the operating housing 50 preferably engage with each other at least in a liquid-tight manner. Ie. by this arrangement, the lamp 1 is protected in this area against the ingress of moisture, so that the entire lamp 1 can be used as a wet room light.

The invention is not limited to the prescribed embodiments.

If the function as a moisture-proof light is not necessary, the seal (s) 7, 10 can be dispensed with or less sealingly formed and / or arranged.

The housing parts 20, 30, instead of being provided with a seal 7, 10, also glued together or otherwise attached to each other. For example, it is suitable for PU foam or silicone adhesive. The same applies to the attachment of the operating housing 70 with respect to the housing part 30. Even if all three housing (parts) 20, 30, 50 were permanently attached to each other, for example by means of gluing, the operating device 70 would continue to be accessible through the opening 51.

The assembly of the lamp 1 can be done by the housing part 30 is removed. Ie. the lamp 1 could theoretically be mounted on a wall or on a frame and then mounted. Or, however, the operating device 70 is, as explained above, inserted through the passage opening 58 and electrically coupled to the light sources 6.

Insbesondere ermöglicht die klammerfreie Montage der Gehäuseteile 20, 30 aneinander eine geringere oder gar keine mechanische Spannung in einem oder beiden Gehäuseteilen 20, 30.Due to the spatial separation of operating device 70 and lighting means 6, it is possible to produce particularly flat-building luminous body or luminous housing by means of the housing parts 20, 30. These can rest very flat on the wall. Unsightly braces no longer have to be installed, even if they are in relation to FIG. 2 are shown. In particular, the clip-free assembly of the housing parts allows 20, 30 to each other a lower or no mechanical stress in one or both housing parts 20, 30th

The bracket 74 may also be part of the electrical coupling. If it is made of a current-conducting material, or has electrical coupling paths similar to printed conductors on a printed circuit board, it can serve, for example, as a grounding. The operating device 70 is electrically coupled via the holder 74, for example via the rail 55 to the operating housing 50 and thus grounded via a ground terminal electrically coupled thereto.

If the holder 74 is cage-shaped, it can provide electromagnetic shielding for the operating device 70.

Instead of inserting the holder 74 may of course be releasably or permanently attached in any known manner on the operating housing 50, such as by means of jamming, Verrastens, gluing, etc.

The light element 8 may be omitted or replaced by any other type of light element. For example, it may be formed like a frosted glass, so that the lamp 1 emits a diffused light despite selectively illuminated light elements 6.

It is essential to the invention that the overall height of the light housing formed by the housing parts 20, 30 only depends on the light elements 6 (possibly including printed circuit board (s) 4), but not more on the wiring or on a necessary operating device 70.

Instead of on a wall or ceiling of a room, the lamp 1 may be mounted on a frame, which is arranged for example behind a suspended ceiling. The frame could then take over, for example, the grounding of the lamp 1.

Die Modularität des gesamten Aufbaus der Leuchte 1 ermöglicht einen schnellen Austausch etwaig defekter Teile der Leuchte 1.The modularity of the entire structure of the lamp 1 allows a quick replacement of any defective parts of the lamp. 1

By means of the invention, the actual lighting element, that is to say without operating device 70, can be formed by an extremely flat structural unit, thus offering itself, in particular, for lights with a flat design.

The unit with the flat LED matrix is closed at the bottom by a flat light emitting element here in the form of the housing part 30 and is also at its periphery and at its rear, which is formed by means of the housing part 20, sealingly through the housing part thus formed jacketed. The operating device 70 itself is now not arranged in this unit but in a trained by means of the operating housing 50 additional housing. The additional housing 50 is arranged on the rear side of the structural unit. The back is in this case the housing part 30 facing away from the side of the housing part 20. The additional housing is preferably elongated and just designed in particular for receiving the operating device 70 and optionally also one or more batteries 71. The operating housing 50 is sealingly connected to the actual lamp housing 20, 30 and the above-mentioned unit, which is achieved on the one hand by means of a screw connection and on the other hand can be ensured by gluing the attachment housing with the actual lamp housing. It remains only in the present case, the front side, the opening 58, through which access to the interior 57 of the additional housing 50 is obtained. The opening 58 can be closed or opened by means of the preferably unscrewable cover 51, in which case a seal is achieved in this area with the aid of an O-ring as the seal 10. As already mentioned, according to the embodiment, the removable lid 51 is the only area through which access is obtained to the interior space 57 of the additional housing 50 as well as to the actual luminaire, so that the O-ring can be sufficient as a single sealing measure.

Instead of in FIG. 4 shown, relatively long connecting line 72 in the interior of the operating housing 50, which is placed in a cable loop, this connecting line could also be made shorter. In this case, then a corresponding terminal would have to be placed, for example behind the lid 51 and made accessible via this, then takes place on the optional loosening and connecting the wiring. Or there is another connection, for example in the form of the aforementioned male-female connection.

The provision of two connection elements 2, 54, in particular on the side facing away from the cover 51 of the operating housing 50 is only necessary if the lamp 1 is to be electrically connected in the context of a through-wiring with several other lights. However, this wiring is not mandatory, d. H. the corresponding connection element 2, 54 can be omitted. In the case of the cover 51, this would also affect the screw 53.

The connection elements 2, 54 can be omitted individually or in total. In addition, they can be designed in any form, for example, as a connection according to the USB standard, if the bulbs 6 have a correspondingly low energy consumption.

The operating device 70 may include a voltage converter, for example in the form of a transformer, so that the lighting means 6 can be connected to an AC voltage although they require a DC voltage.

Also, the operating device 70 can be exchanged for another, if it is defective or change the parameters of the lighting mode, for example, when the terminal voltage is changed, for example, from AC to DC or vice versa. Another case may be that the lamp 1 is to be converted from a self-sufficient to a centrally controlled operation, for example in the context of a building network. In addition, the luminaire 1 additionally requires the possibility of data exchange with a building control center or another type of control center. Or it is a communication from lamp to lamp to be realized so that a lamp can activate another, for example, if a sensor in the lamp determines that an object is moving in the direction of an immediately adjacent light.

Even if the invention is advantageous, in particular in the case of flat-type LEDs as light-emitting means 6, since this makes it possible to implement particularly flat wet-room luminaires, the invention can of course be applied to all other types of luminaires.

As a result, the invention provides a very simple design and to be installed and adaptable to various applications and retrofit luminaire, in particular in wet rooms, such as bathrooms, can be used and still very easy to assemble and maintain.
