Usually, when equipping walls with electrical lines, (cable) channels are first created in the wall. A duct begins at a first point where a socket or switch socket is to be placed on the wall and ends at a second point where the line is electrically connected, for example with a power supply. The location of the second location can also be the location where a junction box or inspection box is arranged.

The electrical line is then laid in the channel or in the cavity, the two ends of the line respectively emerging from the channel at the first and second locations mentioned. The object of the present invention is to develop a wall of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that it is possible to carry out the assembly in a shorter time and thus more cost-effectively. Furthermore, the risk of incorrect work should be minimized. An improved quality standard should thus be achieved.

The solution to this problem by the invention is characterized in that the socket or switch box together with the electrical line is designed as a preassembled unit.

The socket or switch socket can be designed as a light mains socket for inserting at least one safety plug. It can also include a switch. It can also be designed to plug in an antenna cable or a data cable.

The socket or switch box can be designed as a multiple socket or switch box.

The connection between the socket or switch box and the electrical line can be established with a plug contact. The plug contact can be a patch contact. Of course, a fixed connection between the socket or switch box and the electrical line can also be provided.

According to the concept of the invention, a preassembled unit is thus first created, which consists of the socket or switch box and the electrical line already connected to it. Starting from the place where the socket or switch box is to be placed, the electrical line is then pushed or pulled through the channel or through the cavity and electrically connected in the end region, for example to an energy source. This eliminates the need to establish the electrical connection between the socket and the line on the construction site, so that only low-qualified personnel can be deployed here for the work mentioned to fear that incorrect installation will be carried out. A check for proper functioning can be carried out in advance.

Here, hollow wall boxes are used in particular as sockets or switch boxes, which can be easily mounted in the wall. The connection between the socket and the electrical line is either already pre-assembled or takes place via a plug contact, so that the preassembled unit can also be manufactured in a simple manner.

A windproof design of the cans is preferred, for which purpose appropriate seals can be placed. This enables a better thermal budget.

The proposed solution is suitable both for a solid wall and for a cavity wall. Single cans, but also multiple combinations of cans can be used.

The pre-assembled sockets together with the electrical cable are preferably installed in such a way that the electrical cable is routed through the respective channel or cavity and is drawn in a star shape in the ceiling area of the wall to a central point in the room and clamped here in a junction box or plugged into a plug-in distributor , Cable lengths can thus be minimized; At the same time, there is a favorable placement for a necessary revision of the connections.

Due to the central arrangement of the junction box in the ceiling area, further junction boxes arranged in the corner areas of the wall are thus advantageously unnecessary.

The central cabling that occurs in this regard can be used to eliminate sources of error that are otherwise present when appropriate cabling has to be carried out on a number of sockets. Furthermore, the cabling can be carried out faster and therefore more cost-effectively in the central design.

Advantageously, the time required when installing the electrical installation in a building is significantly reduced by the proposed design, which results in correspondingly lower costs. The cost of materials is also lower, since no excess cable has to be cut off when installing the box; corresponding waste is minimized.

The assembly can be carried out by a semi-skilled worker, which is advantageous in view of the limited supply of qualified electrical specialists.

It is also advantageous that a quality check can be carried out before the can and the electrical line are installed, so that the risk of incorrect material being installed can be minimized. This results in an increased quality standard, even if differently qualified personnel are deployed during assembly.

The proposed unit consisting of box and electrical line can be assembled without tools with a corresponding design of the receptacle for the box, which is equally cheap. For this purpose, fastening lamellas known per se can be arranged on the can. For this purpose, after inserting the electrical line into the channel, the can is simply pressed into the recess; a suitable size of the recess then holds the can firmly in the wall. Of course, all other options for (mechanically) fastening the box in the wall are also available.
