Dies kann sowohl an zwei Ecken 9 vorgenommen werden, vorzugsweise aber an allen vier Ecken, so dass der Staubsaugerbeutel eine eher quaderförmige Kontur erhält. Nach dem Schweißen kann dann der Staubsaugerbeutel gefaltet und flachgedrückt werden, um das Stauvolumen in einer Verpackung gering zu halten.
