Description

  • The present invention relates to a laundry dryer comprising a water filter that enables the condensate water to be filtered.
  • In condensation type laundry dryers, the processing air is heated by a heater and directed into the drum, which then contacts the damp laundry and removes the moisture on the laundry and which is finally delivered to a condenser to be dehumidified. The condensate water forming in the condenser is collected by means of a transfer means in a detachable tank situated in the body of the laundry dryer. The water collected in the tank is transferred to the spraying device by means of a transfer means. The water is sprayed onto components such as condenser, evaporator, etc. by means of the spraying device and provides the cleaning thereof.
  • In the state of the art International Patent Application No. WO2011064161 , a condensate filter is explained, that is detachably mounted onto the removable condensate collector.
  • The aim of the present invention is the realization of a laundry dryer, the drying effectiveness of which is increased.
  • The laundry dryer realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof comprises a body, a drum wherein the laundry is placed, a condenser that provides the dehumidification of the drying processing air, a tank wherein the condensate water leaving the condenser is collected, an outlet situated on the tank and provides the discharge of the water in the tank, and a water conduit that enables the water discharged through the outlet to be delivered to the air circulation duct.
  • The laundry dryer of the present invention furthermore comprises a water filter that provides the filtering of the water delivered to the water conduit through the outlet. The condensate water is filtered by means of a water filter situated at the tank outlet with respect to the water flow direction.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the laundry dryer comprises a housing wherein the tank is placed and an opening arranged on the body, through which the tank is placed into/removed from the housing. The water filter is situated in the filter housing on the housing inner wall. The water filter can be reached through the opening.
  • In a derivative of this embodiment, the laundry dryer has the filter housing arranged at the upper side of the body, visible through the opening when the tank is partially or completely pulled from the opening and situated at a distance that the user can access through the opening.
  • In a derivative of this embodiment, the water filter is detachably mounted into the filter housing.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the laundry dryer comprises an opening arranged on the body. The water filter has an active position (A) where it is placed into the opening by being pushed and a passive position (P) where it is taken out by being pulled through the opening.
  • In a derivative of this embodiment, the opening is arranged on the front surface of the body. The user can easily access the water filter by means of the opening situated preferably at the upper side of the body front surface which is the surface where the laundry is placed into the laundry dryer.
  • In a derivative of the embodiments of the present invention, the laundry dryer comprises a spraying device that sprays the water filtered by the water filter and received from the water conduit onto the condenser or the air filter. The water condensed in the condenser is collected in a receptacle and the collected water is delivered to the tank situated at the upper side of the body by means of a pump. The water collected in the tank is transferred to the spraying device by means of the water conduit. The spraying device sprays the water onto the condenser or the air filter and thus cleans these components.
  • In the laundry dryer of the present invention, the condensate water is enabled to be filtered by means of a water filter.
